What I might do is just having Jaerdi babble to 'whoever is nearby' for a brief post and whoever fancies being that nearby person can jump into the conversation. For the sake of having this move quickly without me getting into another slow collab (I have several of those about to happen in other RPs and more will only make me write for them slower, and thats not good).
So this has been slowing right down of late.
This is partly my fault and partly due to the fact that we're down to half of the games intended compliment of players (myself and four others, Sep having informed me of leaving very recently).
Those of you that are still around, I salute you for your dedication.
I'm not ready to give up on this RP just yet though, so here is what I'm going to do. I'm going to get this space battle started. It does have the potential to be a little while in the making though, so in the mean time I also plan to put a new Interest Check up and hopefully recruit more people, such that there may actually be some machinations going on between players.
There will be more than this as well, where such is lacking, events will occur tailored to each player to give them a little more to interact with in the world as well as just the players. All of this will take a fair bit of writing to do of course, so shall not be instant, but I am very mindful that this RP needs a bit more fire injected into it quickly if it is to continue, so nor shall these things take a long time.

Ever tried uninstalling Skype and truly removing all its files? Perhaps looked at the background processes it runs by default, hogging system resources it doesn't need? The multitudinous updates that do very little except bloat its files?
It used to be good, many versions ago, but over time it has become like an inert computer cancer that simply sits there taking up far more space than it needs.
I'm not talking info stealing scary invasive, just an unbelievable data hog thats near impossible to remove once you have it...
My real time chatting is carried out via a sub-channel of the guilds own chat system on mibbit, Fallen and Lucius both make use of that channel as well. It doesn't require any installed software or profiles, though you can access the system with dedicated programs if you feel so inclined. Otherwise it functions purely in ones browser. The only real disadvantage I've thus far found is that it doesn't like Rtron for some reason.

Well, on the skype front, I avoid skype with a vengeance as it is a ridiculously invasive program. It is not, however, the only method to conduct real time communications.
As for Cerria (I should really call her Aluvia, thats who she is now, Cerria is who she was and kind of is now.... Its complicated), we are talking force of nature destructive. She is a weather angel and no friend to the council. Its easier to illustrate her mental state at the moment by directing you to read her character sheet, but as far as future intentions go they are basically: find out who she was, and in the mean time, continue to carry out what she believes her former selfs task was. That is, judge human towns and cities.
In absence of any genuine feeling towards any of the factions, she believes as she did just prior to Cerria's death, though those beliefs are somewhat of a default state rather than a strongly held opinion, and she'll be quite impressionable at the moment. As for not caring who she is in league with... The big picture isn't one of her strong points. Its really more a case of pointing her at something that needs to go away and seting her loose. She could be compared to a Force of Nature in that regard. Little care for who is on what side.

I briefly tried to think of some way in which I could frame Cerria as something other than a destructive monster.... But no, even when she was good she still liked breaking stuff for fun.

Why wouldn't we let the foreign dignitaries leave should they desire to? Wouldn't want to provoke the Da-Hyun by imposing on their representatives.
Of course, if I were those erstwhile ambassadors, I'd seize on the chance to create diplomatic relations with the invaders (and probably more importantly, learn as much as I could about them. Like, say, if they are a threat.)
While I cant say I am a master of this particular area (political machination), Alessia being something of a departure from my usually more combat oriented characters, I am also no stranger to plotting... Take that as you will.
