Allanar Damarcus had once again been removed from his cell and brought to the prison chamber Darth Nyiss had set up with a small lab. Once again he was strapped to the table, to ensure he did not flail about and hurt himself while Nyiss conducted her ministrations. Nyiss stood at his feet, a tender look on her face. She really did care about the fate of Allanar. Some Sith researchers did not care for their subjects, allowing them to exist in a perpetual state of agony without second thought or casting aside their lives carelessly to prove things they already knew. Nyiss was not like that. If Allanar died, she would mourn his loss. In her own way and far from prying eyes, but she would nonetheless. If he did not appreciate what she had done for him, that would hurt too, even though she knew his life would be better for what she had done.

With a heavy sigh, she left her train of thought and walked to the table on which her instruments were laid out, picking up a small syringe filled with a drug that would wake him up and keep him awake. It was important that, for this stage, he be aware of all that was happening. She delicately inserted the syringe into his neck, and moments after the drug had been administered he awoke with a cry. For a moment he struggle against his bonds, but Nyiss placed a hand on his chest, extending a calming aura to him with the Force. “Shhh… Allanar. It will all be over soon. You will be better soon.” She spoke softly, as if to a child being reassured his illness was nothing to worry about.

Earlier, this was the step where she would start upon the torture. But now, that was in the past. Darth Nyiss did not want to create an enemy in the process of turning him. No, that would be beyond foolish. Instead, she picked up a second syringe, carefully injecting it into one of the larger veins in his arm. “This will ease your pain, lighten the burdens on your mind.” It had taken her months to work out even the base for that serum. Then several months more to ensure it would not interfere with any of the other serums. It was a very complex product, designed to subtly alter the chemistry of his brain, make certain emotions grow in strength, even as others were given less focus. She had tested it on scores of prisoners, imperial, criminal and republic alike. It had the same effect on every single one after the final tweaking. She smiled to herself. “You will soon feel its effects. Flow with them, young one. Embrace your emotions. Let them guide you, even as you guide them. You should not let your emotions rule you, but neither should you ignore them.” She watched him as the serum slowly took effect. There was, as always, no immediate difference. When she was sure nothing had gone wrong, she sent for a pair of troopers to take him back to his cell.

Heyo! I had noticed you were in here! I decided that yes, I needed to get into a another RP. Stimulate my mind a bit. Get back all that creativity

Well just don't overextend yourself... I'd hate to see you crash in both RPs.

And don't be afraid of Derv and his sheet tearing, he's a nice guy really...
Heya Gravity, it seems we meet again.
Agreed. Though our armour can stop a staff blast, thats about the only thing it stops reliably...
Sounds good Gravity, you had us worried for a bit there.

And feel free to ask for a collab with whoever. Not sure how available Ariadne will be to collab with you given current events but if there is a chance don't hesitate.
This is only the first instance that came to mind. If I must find more I will, suffice to say you can ring onto a Goa'uld ship pretty easily.

The reason its not used regularly is because of boarding action 101. If you aren't going in with a far superior force, you're wasteing forces.

And this is one of the worst mistakes a GM can make. Never assume you've thought of everything, because you haven't. I have stopped counting the number of times my players have surprised me totally when I thought I'd accounted for everything. Believe me, there are most definitely ways to make things go wrong that you have not thought of.
I also have not thought of all of them, but as an example I will give some things that could go wrong on Ariadne's theoretical assault on the Ha'tak.
Debris strikes the 302, crippling it and ensuring they cannot escape with it or forcing them to land in a bay cut off from their destination on the Ha'tak.
She arrives in the engine room, only to find that there are no spare crystals and her ability is limited to yanking the crystals already there.
Alternatively, perhaps she arrives and in the firefight a staff blast hits some important crystals, maybe even damaging the crystal receptacle, at which point she has to work to bypass it, if it can be salvaged at all.

I just came up with those things in the past few minutes, and all are things I would willingly write in as happening to my own char, GM or no. Never underestimate players.
Ori shields do block it, but I recall at least one instance of shielded ships recieving rings, for example Apophis' two motherships that first attacked earth.

Also, creating the ilusion of difficulty is not about providing a direct counter to everything a player does. Ultimately, players are going to triumph, it is the nature of RPs for the players to win, excepting when that player actually prefers to lose. Far more enjoyment is gained by creating a plan to counter a situation and then watching it unfold. Difficluty is added when, in the process of carrying out the plan, stuff goes wrong. Sometimes this must be added by the GM, but more often than not players actually create difficulty for themselves.
Well the alternative is that we just blast every one of your ships into so much space dust. Would you prefer that?

Besides, GM ruling is now up.
We are going to zat or kill the crews. Sure some might kamikaze, though it does seem at odds with Halions preservation of the fleet idea...
That is not a guaranteed method of preventing ship theft. Even if he orders his crews to do it in time (Goa'uld ships don't have remote self destructs - they change hands often under the reign of the System Lords and that would just be asking for trouble) the self destruct takes time. With access to the engineering core, it can be thwarted. Proper codes are the easiest way, but when you have a Goa'uld on hand to re-arrange crystals, that will work too.
