True, but it is most likely the autobots could contain such a blast as to keep everything from dying. Not to mention how if darkside really wanted to, he could absorb the explosion thanks to his powers. Also, have you noticed he acts like a certain famous villain? Or, did...omnicidal, trying to take over/destroy everything.....Thinking most heroes should be under his heel....

Well, in theory using his telekinetic powers darkside could cause the star's chemical reactions to halt, snuffing out the star. Also, if Supergirl were to do that, it would destroy him physically, but not his soul. As stated before, he would then restart the fight by attacking her with his telekinetic strikes and lighting....so, that would only start a clash of the titans.

A couple Autobots managed to open fire on the monster, however many more were killed. Warpath was nearly one of them, however soon ordered a retreat. Optimus seemed like he could more than handle the current situation. The Autobots were too busy fighting the Decepticon forces, and they were being crushed. The numbers was a huge part of the current situation, the Decepticons were just more plentiful.
The shots stopped before Darkside, as he reflected them with his telekinetic abilities with lethal precision. He then turns to Optimus, looking far more monster than man.
"You.....I..am going to rip you apart....." He growls, his voice deep and scratchy.

Not being able to break the shield fast enough, and filled with panic Darkside begins to attack the lesser autobots outside of the shield. He throws them around like dolls, and melts a few with powerful lighting.
