I saw that you were trying to make something nice, and decided it might be interesting.

This is bad timing for the IC, since I'm sort of occupied for most of the day today, but I'll be sure to post ASAP.
By the way, anybody wanting to play a Fae character should probably contact me beforehand, since there's a ton of lore stuff I've mostly left out.

Is there a minimum iq requirement for that to work on them?

Even if there was, your character probably wouldn't meet it.
Fun, we have a catgirl and a legendary sword with authority over cats.

gamer5 said Trough just one thing Prodigal Learning, a skill possessed by all Fairies which allows them to learn virtually any skill with ten times the haste and mastery of an ordinary human. This includes things such as conversation skills or speech habits, but doesn't include things the Fairy isn't interested in.This is unneeded and really unfair towards ordinary humans which must really on skills and technology to overcome their low magical capabilities. Also there is little sense that a next to eternal existence would need to learn something so freaking quickly. Normal human speed would be more then enough since they probably outlive humans by quite a number of times allowing to learn any skill better then any human, as long as they wish so and invest time which they have in a next to infinite amount right?

Well, the reason they are so good at learning is because they are basically just floating magic consciousness given form, Fae don't really care about technology so I wouldn't say it's unfair to humans. They are Theoretically Immortal, but once a fairy starts believing it's old it will die of old age like any mortal. Generally speaking, Fairies will die once they start getting bored with existence and begin to ponder the meaning of life and all that stuff. This means that the average lifespan of a Fairy is actually somewhere around a hundred to two hundred years, with great variation on an individual basis.

Aes'tille the Vagrant Star, second princess of the Fae Queen Tille'aisle and Stars Captain in the Heroic Order of Fairy Knights.
Age: 47
Race: Fae
Country of Birth: Fae'lanse, the Hidden Kingdom of the Faeries
Country of Origin: Fae'lanse, the Nation-in-your-Cupboard
Personality: Aes'tille is the Vagrant Star, she is free spirited and careless, as well as consumed with adventure and whimsy. She adores fun or awesome things, but will quickly discard anything that doesn't interest her, be it a magic item or a friend. She's quick to make friends and companions, however, and being a Fairy she shows natural curiosity in most things, especially mortals. She's playful, but heroic, she'll never stand by and let bad triumph over good, or leave the weak to die in the gutter. She despises tyranny, oppression and dishonourable actions, so much so that she would have no qualms with attacking a king if he was being mean to his subjects. Doesn't care much for mortal authority or morals.

Combat Skills:
  • Swordplay, Aes'tille is considered a master among her people who wields the legendary sword Shooting Star. She has developed a few magic-based sword skills, all of which come in great use when battling the giants of the mortal world.
  • Magic of Stars, the magic used by the Royal Family in Fae'lanse. This magic can produce a wide variety of effects, but is mostly centred around high-powered enchantment and beam-based destructive energy. While not comparable to the great mages of Fae'lanse or the others in her family, Aes'tille is still many leagues above most magic-users in the mortal world.

Adventuring & Survival Skills:
  • High-speed Fairy Flight, using a combination of magic and her natural wings.
  • Shape-shifting, not unlimited but able to at the most make her into a human-sized version of herself and hide her wings. Extremely efficient compared to the mortal transformation magics.
  • Guidance to the Kingdom of Fairies, a skill allowing her to transit from certain points into the magic Kingdom, Fae'lanse. This also means she's able to guide others there!
  • Fairy Navigation, the skill to find the secret Fairy Paths in the world that lead through dangerous or mysterious places alike, providing a safe way to travel through most areas.
  • Invisibility, a technique that is more a magical skill than a trait or spell. When hiding their presence, Fairies can become virtually undetectable, although it may be possible to trick them into revealing themselves.
  • Plant Manipulation, whether it's weaving flowers into an elaborate dress or creating a house from living leaves, Fairies are masters of playing with plants in the most effective ways possible.
  • Prodigal Learning, a skill possessed by all Fairies which allows them to learn virtually any skill with three times the haste and mastery of an ordinary human. This includes things such as conversation skills or speech habits, but doesn't include things the Fairy isn't interested in.

Other Skills:
  • Floral Enchanting, a magical skill which allows the Vagrant Star to enchant flowers to possess various abilities or traits.
  • Communication with All Things, a trait unique to Fairies which allows them to listen to the language of all things and communicate with even the dirt under their feet. Applies significantly more towards cats or cat-like entities, due to her possessing Shooting Star.

Reason for travelling: The Vagrant Star seeks nothing but adventure, wonder and enjoyment. She is the most free of her sisters, so she is expected to experience the mortal world in all of its worth.
