@Famotill

Viguard Empire, personally.

Also, what kind of technology limits do we really have in terms of weaponry?

Like in my case, are we talking about early fire-arms like flintlocks, or old-west 1800s caliber in some places?
WIP, just posting it here for the time being. Feel free to critique as it goes, or wait til I'm done.

I will say that I'm not entirely sure about all the skills I'd put, particularly for any race-related advantages, if any.

Consider me interested, I'm just getting back into the RP game and may consider this one to get back in with.
I think you look good, Musoka glad to see some people haven't completely dropped interest in this. I'm still working on essays so my observations for this week will be limited, but I am checking. Feel free to post yours up in Characters, Musoka. Same goes for KARASOTH, if he sees this
Its all good guys, my time for the moment is divided between essays and such, so IC won't start up til probably next week so take your time to iron things out.
@Templar Knight Read through your criticisms and I'll add to my sheet the extra information. However, I did read somewhere that Hunters were immune to being turned. Quote from TV Tropes, which is where I get a lot of my information: "One of the inherent powers that all imbued hunters receive is that it's impossible to be turned into a monster. Of course, the monsters don't know that, and they might try to turn you anyway..." Then again, this is just one source telling me this. I'll change it if I get enough evidence that this is not the case.

In Hunter the Reckoning thats a thing... due to the weird woojg of Hunter the Reckoning they are given powers by spirits who will do them the solid of making the embrace fatal
So I guess its immunity in the sense that its impossible to turn them into Vampires without killing them. The Dead will not rise again. Lol
Karasoth: Impressive work on Aliester Crowley, I'll certainly PM you with more details of my thoughts, but atm things look good to me. In terms of public concerns, my hope is that your modified CS doesn't intimidate anyone else, this is still a casual RP, so nobody needs to go to the same lengths, but detail is still impressive nonetheless. As for you Fellsing, your sheet is also pretty good, though I do have a couple reservations to point out. The first is not entirely your fault, in that I have added a more specific Hunters section to the general character apps on the OOC page, so since your character is a hunter, you'll be able to add more detailed info to it. This leads into my second issue, how your backstory ends. I'll admit that I'm not knowledgeable of Hunters and their relations to Vampirism, but I'm skeptical that anyone would be "immune" to The Embrace. Holy Warriors and Hunters of past times have been Embraced before, to their depression, resentment, or acceptance of the role reversal. My suggestion as to how to resolve the issue, is perhaps having it be as if Eleanor (in a slight violation of the Masquerade on her part), had proposed the Embrace to Ivy, upon which she receives let's say, another interdiction from The Messengers to convince her not to go through with it, her rejection only makes Eleanor resolve to either forcibly embrace her, make her a ghoul, or simply kill her in order to protect The Masquerade. Then the other Hunters burst in, as they had been tracking and monitoring Eleanor's activities for some time, and intervene in order to protect who appears to be their newest recruit, in essence they use the vampire as a test of sorts, though they would have killed her regardless of Ivy's fate. That's just my suggestion, perhaps you'll come up with something better or unique to yourself as you fill in the rest of the Hunter subsection in the OOC. WHICH TO REMIND ALL NEW PEOPLE INTERESTED, THE OOC IS UP! LINK IS HERE: http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/75880/posts/ooc
Name: Tomaso Vivaldi Sex: Male Date of Birth: 1598 Image/Description: Species: Kindred Background/Occupation: Archon of the Camarilla, in his past life, he was a Banker and one-time attempter at Alchemy Residence: Has a haven in Venice, Italy. Though for now his current whereabouts are unknown. Personal Possessions: Carries a wooden staff, a silver dagger in the shape of the Camarilla ankh, a couple blood packs, his pocketwatch, his wallet, and his book on Thaumaturgy rituals and spells everywhere he goes. Backstory: Born in Venice to a modestly successful merchant family during the Renaissance, Tomaso Vivaldi grew up under the shadow of older brothers and sisters, dooming his chances of ever actually taking over his family's business, he was still expected to aid the family however he might. Studying as banker's apprentice, he developed a fascination for alchemy and the occult in his spare time, in spite of his parent's harsh reprimands to devote his time to the family and Christian teachings. He bought tomes on Paracelsus and other alchemists, but despite all the ritual and precise instruction, he only made a fool of himself trying to turn lead into gold, or perform other alchemical transformations. Dissatisfied, he buried his nose in his work, eventually becoming a banker himself right before the Black Plague hit Venice again in his lifetime in 1630. The Plague hit Tomaso's family hard, killing his father and many of his siblings within months, fearing death from possibly having caught the plague himself and the death of the rest of his family imminent, he scoured the streets of Venice looking for a cure. That fateful night, a pale-skinned man claiming Roman descent by the name of Carlo Urbino approached his pleas for help, and promised him a cure from the plague back at his apartment. Desperate and unsuspecting, Tomaso followed Carlo, to be cured of the plague, but also to be embraced as a member of the Tremere Clan that night, and joining the legions of the Lost and the Damned. His remaining family members would eventually be saved by being made Ghouls of Tomaso, though he left them to their business, never fully sealing the blood bond, and merely prolonging their lives. As his sire, Carlo explained the basics of Kindred society to Tomaso and taught him of his new abilities of Thaumaturgy, duties to his clan, and responsibilities as a Cainite. He also introduced him to many members the fairly recently formed Camarilla when they held their Conclave in Venice, 4 years later. Afterwards, he lost his Fledgling status and began serving his clan as they plied their machinations and those of the Camarilla across Europe for nearly the next 400 years. All the while practicing his art of Thaumaturgy and mastering his control over blood, fighting against Sabbat, Hunters, and other enemies which waged war with the Camarilla over the centuries. In 2011, when the Camarilla met again in their annual Venetian Conclave, and new Justicars were appointed by the Inner Circle. One in particular, Sophia Eckhardt of Clan Toreador, selected him, in secret towards the Conclave's conclusion, as one of her Archons, whereupon he has served her loyally for the past 4 years. Personal affiliations: Justicar Sophia Eckhart (Blood Bonded to) (Kindred Only) Clan: Tremere Embraced: 1630 Generation: 10th Generation Disciplines: Thaumaturgy, Presence, Domination, Auspex. Weaknesses: Fire, Sunlight Sire?: Carlo Urbino (Deceased) Rank?: Kindred Childe(r)?: N/A Political Affiliations: Camarilla Anything else of note?: He is of the 5th Circle of Mastery within the Tremere Clan
So, I was right, right? I mean, Hunter the Reckoning based hunters?
hellrazor
I guess so, since it fits in with Classic V:TM. Even so, I changed the section on Hunters to reflect it.
