(Best for Andrea to sit out the fight anyway; using her powers brings her doom closer. As does overexerting herself. She still has strength, speed, astral constructs, and telekinesis, but that can only get her so far in this fight and would still lead to the overexertion)

Does Network know? Because if he doesn't, it will be:

Y U NO KOOL MAGIC?!
There are many theories on the internet about my identity. Some say that I’m actually some kind of advanced robot, while other people think I’m some kind of a warrior monk from Tibet. Most of them try to find what kind of creature lies behind this mask, but the thing is, there is only a human.

No monsters. No robots. No aliens. A human. Not even a super-powered one. I am simply flesh and blood. I eat. I sleep. I get scared. Here is the big secret: every time I put my mask on, I’m scared. Deadly afraid that I’ll make a mistake, that I’ll punch too hard or my reflexes kick in again. Believe me, with a body trained to kill, trying not to actually become hard.

It was the fear far too common for me. And yet, Nucleus told me on my first night as the cape. “It’s okay to be afraid. Because this gives you the opportunity to fight that fear.” Ever since that day, I never stopped to fight the fear. I am Network… and now I’m afraid I’ll fail not only myself, but the closest thing to friendship I have.

“Now, before we rush into battle, we need to form a consistent plan. With Polaris and Faust not in the field, I’ll assume the role of the leader.” It was hard to say these words, and even harder to know what I said back then. The truth is, I did fail them all. And I keep failing them.

“For now, our priority would be the evacuation of civilians. Riley, your powers are most suited for this task. Fly there and rescue them. You can use your pheromone control, if the need arises.” Good. It’s important to not forget why you fight. Normal people. Maybe, he failed this lesson as well.

“Swarm, we need as many eyes around here as possible. Use your bugs to give us an edge, and make sure there will be no surprises. Luxurious, you’re with me.” I let my body assume to so familiar battle stance, feeling my stomach churn at the idea. “We’re going to stale her as long as possible.”

Damn, I really wish we had our heavy-hitters with us.
So, I'm going first, then?
@Liliya

“If that’s what you think, fine. Go ahead. Do what you want.”

Network turns away and slowly goes to the training room, but not before saying his last part. His sound harsh and emotionless, more than ever.

“You sound so certain that we could take Dragoon down. But we didn’t. Tachyon. Warbird. Siegfried. Buzzsaw. Riptide. Black Night. Damager. Tip and Top. Basher. Kid Wonder and Girl Wonder. Turbine Twins. They were the ones who beat her. Not us. Never us, Polaris.”

And then, it was all gone. He barked his orders.

“Luxurias, Network, Swarm, with me. We still have a mission to finish.”

@Joshie

Yeah, that's cool, too.

Guys, this RP is awesome.
@Raijinslayer

Good. If no one is against this idea, we will use this plan. Also, I should get a +1 point for assessing situation first. I have to ask if I can share it with the team, too.
@Raijinslayer True. But the point of the whole training is to work as a single unit and work efficiently. Honestly speaking, having Faust as a counter Dragoon measure would have been great. I believe that once we dominate the construct, the training will stop.
@Raijinslayer

I actually had a plan. First, I wanted to verify whether there were any civilians around. If there were, somebody had to evacuate them first. Most likely Riley because of her pheromone control that would allow better crowd control and such. Also, biotic ship and all. During this, we would stale Dragoon. You know, if possible, struck down her helmet. Then, Ian comes into play. Magic or not, she is still a human. So, we manipulate her to stand down. Everyone wins. No one does. Swarm would scatter her bugs and keep watch over the whole area in case of any surprises
"No, for this training we need the whole team involved. No excuses."

He sighed heavily, feeling like the whole world was crushing him under its weight. It wasn't a pleasant sound.

"And yes, I would fight and I would kill my mentor. Not out of my duty. Because that's what she would want. Nucleus knows that sometimes we have to make compromises with ourselves. It's what heroes do: fight bad guys. To no end. Again and again."
@Liliya

"You're wrong. We hurt people. We only hurt people. We hurt people that hurt other people, hoping they won't come back. It doesn't matter whom we hurt. On the other hand, why we hurt them is all that matters.

Her aunt is a criminal, willing or not. I don't want to say she is a bad person, but we're still finding new bodies in the rubble, and some of them had masks on. And so, we will stop her again. Not because we want to.

Nothing can prepare us for what will come. But we can try. We have to.

It's our duty. If we don't prepare to carry them, nobody will. As a team. Because I am not good enough. And neither are you. Nobody here can stop even a bootleg copy of Dragoon. Not alone.

Polaris... Alex, have I ever failed you before?"
@Liliya

"And what's the point? Can't you see? They are testing us. Me. Her. You. It's all part of the test. That's her aunt we're fighting? Fine. Let's stop her, then. Or what, we're going to ask our enemies to change every time we don't feel like facing them. It's a big, bad world out there. Mirage pulls your greatest fears out of your head. What if we face her? What if we face someone like her? I simply want to say: it's better if we face what troubles us now, in controlled situation. So stop being so whimsical and do what has to be done."
