You can shorten my name to whatever you like, I’ll most likely respond plus I like seeing how creative people can be. I guess I should tell you a bit more about myself other than my being weird, huh?
About Me
I'm a stay at home mom that also runs an online business. Sometimes I can reply multiple times a day, other times it can take me a few days to reply.
I've been roleplaying for 15 years now, having been on different sites and then eventually picking up tabletop gaming. I've even done some roleplaying in some MMORPGs.
I've got ADHD bad and sometimes I think I've replied, but turns out I never hit send. This doesn't happen TOO often and if it does I normally catch it quickly, but if I haven't replied in a week please just nudge me! I promise I'm very nice (and will apologize like crazy if this happens).
I tend to play female characters, but I am willing to double up as I have no issue playing multiple characters...like, it's a problem sometimes...anyone else have 200 D&D characters they've created on DnDBeyond? Just me? Cool…
I prefer M/F pairings, sorry. I have nothing against other pairings! I just lose interest in them from what I've found and I don't wanna do that to you.
I LOVE romance and by romance I do NOT mean smut. I love the ooey gooey, feel good, story telling, character building, sweet kisses and cuddles, romance. If it leads to something more, cool! I'm fine with that! I can roleplay that bit out just fine, BUT I don't want it to be a major plot of the story. It also isn't likely to happen within the first few posts with me. I like a bit of slow burn, build up to any of that. If we start something up and you push smut right away then I'm out, sorry.
I also love a plot with several different things going on. Dark themes are fine and mildly encouraged. I like to explore trauma and I can be rather mean to my characters. I feel it helps them grow. My point is I'm in this for the story.
I'd consider myself between casual and advanced in terms of post length. I'm not going to give any one-liners, I won't even do just one paragraph. I aim for three paragraphs at least and can definitely write more than that.
I am all for talking OOC and making friends! I feel like it makes the roleplay more enjoyable that way.
I prefer to roleplay over PMs or thread, but mostly PMs.

Please be 18+. While I don't want much smut, I still like some dark themes and just feel more comfortable if my partner is over 18.
Please be willing to play at least one male character as a main character. You are welcome to have a female one too and I'll create a second character as well for you, but my main character is going to be female and I am looking to roleplay a M/F romance.
Be patient with me. I said it before and I'll say it again, I'm weird. I can talk a LOT sometimes and I can get hyperfixated on talking about something. On the flip side I can sometimes be really quiet. Sometimes I get in moods where I'm really shy or I'm having a problem with my depression. Or my child kept me up all night because they're 1 and a half and like to make mommy crazy.
Please tell me your favorite animal when you PM me to prove you've read all this. Personally my favorite animal is tied between sharks and snakes.
Please be able to write at least two paragraphs, even if they're on the smaller side. I do believe in quality over quantity, but I feel less than two paragraphs usually doesn't give someone much to work with.
Please be able to reply at least once a week. Real life is always more important and I understand that. If you can't get a reply to me that week just let me know! I'm understanding! I just don't want to wonder if you've lost interest because then I go on a downward spiral and begin thinking I offended you somehow and it's just a fun time.
On To The Plots/Genres!
In a medieval fantasy world magic has been banned on one of the large continents.In the Ocrisian Kingdom, a human king rules (can change the race) and he has banned magic throughout his kingdom. Why? His beloved wife was murdered by an elven magic weilder and they almost succeeded at killing the young prince and heir to the throne when he was a toddler. It caused the king to become bitter towards magic, viewing it all as dangerous. Those that were found using magic were imprisoned and murdered. He spent several years eradicating magic from his kingdom and trying to teach his son his same views on the matter.
The king couldn’t stop there, though, as the kingdom next to them, the kingdom of Arelya, was ruled by a family of very powerful magic wielders. While they were a peaceful kingdom and were ready to consider Ocrisia an ally kingdom, the king of Ocrisia viewed them as a threat. Under the guise of signing a peace treaty with them, he traveled to the kingdom and brought his young son, who was around 7 or 8 now. He also brought a whole party with him, but disguised within that party was a group of assassins. The treaty was to be signed in the morning, but a feast had been prepared for the night before. The young prince played with the young princess of Arelya and all seemed happy. The king, queen, and princess all went to bed without suspecting a thing. The treaty was signed the next morning, the king and prince left with their party, but those assassins circled back and a few days later struck. The entire household was said to be murdered and no one truly knew who’d done it as the assassins covered their tracks well.
Many years have passed, the prince is a young adult now, and the king has changed drastically from what he once was. Power hungry and trying to expand his borders, he had little time for his son. Besides, the prince was too much like his mother and it hurt the king to spend too much time with him because of it. The king has decided to hold a competition to add someone into his personal guard. All the noble families have been ordered to bring forth a champion to compete, but the king wasn’t expecting his son to present his own champion. The prince has found a girl within the high security prison who was said to once be a highly skilled assassin. The prince has offered her freedom in exchange for competing in this competition. She accepts and the fun begins. The prince didn’t expect to be fond of the girl, but there’s something refreshing about her. She’s not like the other ladies of the court, acting all prim and proper. She’s got spirit, isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and doesn’t care that he’s a prince. If she doesn’t like something about you she’s going to let you know and will be brutally honest in doing so. What happens when the prince starts to fall for this dangerous assassin? What if she were to fall for him too? Will she survive the competition? What would happen if the prince found out there’s much more to this girl than he realized and that they’d met before? Oh and what happens when the prince discovers he has magic?
Is this plot based off of Throne of Glass? Yeah it kinda is. Does it have to play out exactly like the series? Absolutely not! I’m even willing to change things up, discuss different plot ideas with you, this is just a basis of something I’m craving to do. You do NOT have to know the books for this one. That being said, I would personally like to play the assassin. I am willing to play a couple other characters too and they can be of any gender.
He was the bad boy, always in trouble, constantly suspended, in and out of juvie. She was his best friend's younger sister. He came from a broken family. She came from a picture perfect family. He was oblivious to her feelings. She had the biggest crush on him. They lived in a smaller town and everyone knew what happened when he was younger.
His parents were high school sweethearts, getting married right after graduation. They seemed to be so in love, eventually they had them, and life seemed happy. He became best friends with a boy in school, had good grades, life was going well. When he was 10, however, his mother left them out of nowhere. She claimed she had fallen out of love a long time ago and was finally making a decision for herself to be happy. She'd been having an affair for awhile and left for him, abandoning her son and everything. It blindsided his father and destroyed him. His father turned to drinking, he struggled to provide for his son, and the boy began acting out. What kept him from going postal completely and entering the system was his best friend's family. They did what they could for him, feeding him often, buying him clothes, even picking him up when he was arrested. They cared for him the best they could, but he still struggled with anger issues and acting out. Others in town just viewed him as a troublemaker and kept most of their kids away from him.
She obviously grew up around him, tagging along with her brother and him when she could. She was only a year or two younger than him. As she hit her teenage years she developed a huge crush on him. She was afraid to say anything, though, as she didn't want to ruin her brother's friendship with him. Her brother wasn't naive, though, and figured out she liked him. Her brother and his friend were getting ready to graduate and her brother tried to encourage her to say something. She finally did at the start of that summer.
He was baffled, but decided to give it a shot. Through the summer they dated, him initially just viewing it as a fun fling while she fell head over heels for him. Come end of summer he started to realize he had feelings for her and it frightened him. So he did what he knew best to do with love. He ran like his mother did. Didn't say goodbye, just vanished. It broke the sister, she fell into a deep depression. The guy eventually felt guilty and knew he screwed up and contacted the brother only to be met with anger. He apologized and promised to never contact him again.
That was almost 10 years ago now and he's back in town as his father wasn't doing well. He's come back to care for the man, but planned to try and avoid his old flame and her brother. Unfortunately in a small town that was hard to do. What'll happen when they finally run into each other? How much have they both changed? Could they fall in love again?
This'll just be a fun slice of life type of roleplay. I'd love to play the sister in this and I'm open to suggestions or some changes in the plot even.
