Měihóu Niángniang

Měihóu turned at the sound of Chen's voice, "Měihóu Niángniang? Am I...?" Měihóu's eyes opened wider in dread as she turned back to the scroll. She scanned for a few moments, before yelling to the sky, "DAMN IT ME! YOU HAVE THE WORST TASTE!" She shook an impotent fist at.. herself?

"Anyway... Yes, I am Měi... Měi... thaaat person. One sec." Měihóu seemed quite unable to convince herself to say "her" name. And she twirled her scroll around her once, veiling herself from sight, and a moment later when the scroll began rolling up by itself into a gnarled wooden staff, she looked an entirely different woman.

"Sorry for the angst, I don't exactly feel myself at the moment, what's your name?" Měihóu extended a hand to shake, seemingly in less disagreement with herself. "Also, don't mean to be rude, but can you take care of yourself or will you need a hand if any critters show up?"

My post is a less of "What is Blithe doing" so much as "what Blithe is intending to do and why we're in the situation we're in".

The first paragraph explains in none too simple terms, I'll admit: In your post, you covered a fair distance of ground, moving from fully to my front, to my side, while maintaining distance. Thus, Blithe would have had time to start doing her follow up move that she stating she was doing previously, moving to a more neutral stance, with her right side more even with her left.

The second paragraph is me saying, if your character strikes as you intended, it's probably going to result in Blithe stabbing you. Because in my previous post, I stated she was going to rotate her right side (and thus, her sword) forward. You approached Blithe on her right side, meaning, although your strike will get around Blithe's shield, you've also moved directly into the path Blithe was going to swordify. We've gotten into a situation where we will likely both hit each other unless one of us backs down.

Thus, I asked the question in my second paragraph of "Now that we've clarified these things, are you sure you want to do that? Anything you'd like to tweak first?"
Anyway, if it's not clear, Měihóu just swapped out a bunch of her memories from one of her past "lives" that was a nomad in Rexicorg. Figured that should be a good enough explanation for a level of "I'm not gonna get lost forever, at least on the first level of the labyrinth."

If any Librarians/neutrals want to tag along with her as a guide, I'm sure it's slightly less dangerous than a tournament with Fei competing.

If you lose, you die. If you win, you get Asgard coming after your sorry ass.

"Alllright. Reeexicooorg." Měihóu cricked her neck, as she arrived at the borders of Rexicorg. This particular border was marked by a crumbling wall near a cracked pillar. Deeper in Rexicorg, there was a timeless air, where no matter the amount of weathering, the amount of jungle growth, it seemed as if the ruins refused to give further ground. As though they permitted the jungle, but only as a passing tennant, like the nomads who made it their home. But here, it seemed like it would not be long till the wall was but paving stones and the pillar gravel.

Měihóu unraveled her staff into the scroll that hid within it, spreading it along the wall unveiling the vast art that was upon it. Then, she turned away, towards the pillar. Gently peeling away moss, Měihóu examined the pillar carefully, until finally was revealed a small animal depiction, marred by a crack through it but mostly intelligible.

"Alright!" Měihóu smiled, before turning back to her scroll. Her eyes scanned down the animals depicted there, her outstretched finger sliding along to keep her pace. "Me, me, me meee, me me me, me... Me!" She smiled as she found the matching animal. She stopped, her finger over the animal, and concentrated, eyes closing and minutes passed.

"Ok, so, I've got a mission, relics are important, and.... uh... The fuck am I wearing?" Měihóu's eyes opened, and she began recapping to herself before noticing herself and promptly glaring at herself.
I still don't see this event ending with a result other than:

Platinum: Well, who else were you expecting was going to win?

Still Exilia is a fun locale, good luck to those who choose to participate!

I think I'll head to Rexicorg and amuse myself, wouldn't want to throw too many people at the tournament and get us bogged down again.
Or maybe I should just moonwalk out of the scene. I'm sure that would solve everything.
Chimere continued standing in the courtyard for some time after the largest swarm of trainees left. Her eyes glanced down to a small piece of paper in her hands. A pamphlet with a map. She stared at it for some time with her consternation shown mostly by a twitch of the upper lip.

Sometime later: Nope, that's the hospital. The fact that they have a mini-hospital on hand is... Huuuuuh.

Sometime later: Nope, that's a big open room with too many chairs.

Sometime later: Nope, that's a room of shelves and books. Quiet, but still a few people.

Sometime later: Nope, that's a restroom.

Sometime later: Nope, that's a big garage. Huh, busy. Avoid.

Chimere finally reached her intended destination. The dormitories. A deep breath was taken as she examined her room number, and attempted to locate it.

Sometime later: Nope, this is the guy's area.

Sometime later: Maybe? Nope.

And then, it was done, Chimere stood triumphant, comparing her ticket to the sign and feeling pretty good about herself. No one else is here yet. Guess it's just mine.

Huuh.

She sat down hesitantly on her bed. Her body suddenly overcorrected back up and forward, upon sinking down into it further than expected.

Slower.

Chimere slowly leaned into the bed this time, eyes on the alert, scouring the room. Then, leaning back, she rested on it, finalyl stopped scanning the room.

Weird. Squishy but bouncy. She blankly at what was above her, hands restlessly gripping the frame. Now what?
Very nice bio, I do like the magic you've come up with, looks like it'll get up to quite some antics. :)

Sorry for the delay on my inaugural IC post... I got distracted by an Inuyasha binge... >_> <_<

Anyone want to set up their characters to meet? Chimere's not particularly outgoing, so it'd probably take a little bit of coincidence to make an early meeting.
I'll just keep waiting for the results of attempting to prevent grandpa from having children.
