@ClocktowerEchosvery much so!
@XLegs Yes that is correct :D
@CallMeChaotix @shivershiver @Trigani @PlantEater @Driving Park @Subject Zero @XLegs (I hope I got everyone)

Just so you are all aware, I've officially settled on a timeline to keep you all in reference. Basically I'm starting this off about where The Phantom Menace leaves off. Now mind you, none of the story in the movies is going to happen. The story will begin around that era and I will provide a VERY deep introduction to make sure everyone knows what is going on. Let me know your thoughts.
This is great to see everyone interested in this project! I'm currently working the OOC, so I'll have that posted by Wednesday night LATEST. So please stay tuned.

Also, the character sheet is going to be fairly detailed so bring your thinkers lol
@Trigani That is EXACTLY what I'm proposing ^^
@PlantEater I'm more than happy with that. But I think there may be some confusion as to what I'm proposing... Let me elaborate:

I want this Universe to he free of any major events or characters from the movies, games, shows, etc. Basically using the Star Wars galaxy and its races, planets and powers as a tenplate, so a set time frame wouldn't do us much good. Basically we make our own story, without events of canon effecting what happens/has happened unless we agree that some events should remain (for instance, we could keep everything up to wherever we start and after is up to us). So if we start before the prequels, then in our stories the prequels won't exist. Hopefully that clears it up a bit more.
@Trigani That's what I'm shooting for yes, but I'm open to any era.
@PlantEater For sure :D

But realistically I'm good with any time frame if one is more popular amongst everyone. Anything from prequels to old republic to originals or anything else. Do you have a preference?
@PlantEater Not really a set time frame since we're making our own story, but for your sake I'll say probably in the original movies.
Welcome to Star Wars: Eclipse

I would love this role-play to be huge; bigger than ever, but I need your help. I want to start a role-play set in the Star Wars Universe but without any of the characters or major events (unless we all decide otherwise for certain events/characters). This role-play requires a large group (10-15) and a lot of time, but I know it can be done. The only things I would like to keep the same are races, planets & the all encompassing force. I want everyone to fill the roles, and wha tI mean is; I want villains (Sith, Bounty Hunters, Soldiers, Prophets, Aliens, Smugglers, Pirates, etc.), I want heroes (Jedi, Princess', Scoundrels, Soldiers, Diplomats, etc.) & even the in between (Grey Jedi, droids, civilians, etc.).

I basically want us to create our own epic story, with our own epic characters. Where it goes, nobody will know. Now I would also like this to be a Casual/Advanced role-play and by that I mean fairly long posts (2-3 paragraphs minimum) and very detailed character sheets. If anybody is interested please let me know! Let's do this and make this thing a role-play nobody will forget. I won't give up on this, or let the role-play become dry. As GM I'll throw all sorts of curve balls our way to make sure the story keeps progressing/changing. There may not be many Star Wars fans here (or maybe, prove me wrong?) but I hope we can get all of them here to enjoy this journey. Again, this will take loads of time so please don't jump on the bandwagon and cancel because of the long wait; I will keep you guys posted as often as I can, even for minor updates. I never want to leave anyone hanging.

I cannot wait to hear from you guys, honestly if you have any questions do not be afraid to ask, I will answer every question as best as I can. I'm also open to any and all suggestions.

May the Force Be with You
