I have some good news and some bad news.

I'll give you the good news first, to explain the bad one;
My surgery has been moved up to next week and it's a different surgery then what was originally planned. I'm going to get a whole new spleen, instead of just trying to fix the broken one I've already got.

The bad news, then;
I won't be on here for a while, since the surgery takes a while and the rehabitation is ... rough. So, yeah...

Pasta, you just move on without me - Just have Ryuu go home to the village and be with the other guys. I'll figure out something else for myself once I get back.

Havl... Well, we have a word that is pronounced like that, but spelled like "hagl" (I think it's "hagel" in Swedish), that means ... well, those little things you shoot out of a shotgun... Pellets? Isn't that what they're called? Lead pellets?

Well, unless I learned something terribly wrong in school (and from my Swedish aunt), you still spell it like us, even though you pronounce it differently. Norwegians are like "Ah, hell, We'll just spell it like we say it" ... and they actually do it.
(Seriously, I don't want to have to get drunk just to know how to pronouce things in Swedish. I'd have to take the potato out of my mouth)

I've never really considered Deadpool to be ... anything. I've never actually read the Deadpool comics and the only times I've actually "seen" him, he's just sorta been dropping into other comic books.
I might look into that.

Wolverine isn't a hero-hero... originally, at least. He was, in fact, an antihero. They kinda killed that in the newer comics, though...
He had a thing for asian teenage girls, too... *shudder*

Spidey is probably as hero-hero as it gets, though. Always has been and always will be. I loved those comics when I was little, but I grew out of them pretty quickly. He's cool and the comics are cool, but it's the same shit over and over again.

Batman generally sucks. The only thing I actually somewhat like about him, is the fact that he actually does kill some crooks rather than just, you know, hand them over to the local police. He is no super-hero, though, as he totally lacks the super, as Pasta also stated. I would say the "hero" thing is a bit... up for discussion. He's not always as hero-like as he should be and in the old comics, I'd even go as far as to call him an antihero.
Batman's superpower=Infininte Riches

Captain America, though, might have a bit of the "super" down (although his power is just "Human Peak Condition" and not anything actually outside of natural human reach (according to Joe Simon)), but he lacks a whole bunch of "hero". He is a super-soldier, not a super-hero. To anyone but the Americans (especially at the time that the original comic (1941) was published), he's, well, just an American super-soldier. He was created to fight for America and all the American ideals and stuff like that, which is something the rest of the world really doesn't think that they need super-soldiers to do.
To add wood to the fire, it was a comic book about WWII that was released during WWII. The war wasn't even over yet.

I used to have the biggest crush on Gambit from X-Men (The Amazing X-Men series) when I was a little girl/tween. I remember that in one of the volumes, they were all hanging out by the pool. Gambit was shirtless and dripping wet. I was like... well, I was perverted, even as a kid.

Last week, I think it was, I saw this RP on here that was supposed to be a Marvel Universe type of RP, but I only read a few sentences into the OP because as soon as Batman was mentioned, I was like; "This dood obviously doesn't know anything". Nerdy joke is nerdy.

Took me a moment to realize you meant Halvtand. For a Scandinavian, that's a really weird place to part his name.
In the Scandinavian languages, "Halv" means "Half" and "Tand" means "Tooth". The Norwegians are weird and spell "Tand" as "Tann", though...

I PMed RondoNumbaNine two weeks ago and he still has not replied to me, so he has been cut from the RP and his profile has been removed from the OOC OP.

News #2:
I have decided for Pasta and I that Haruka and Ryuu will not be joining Dai and Shou at the Academy, so feel free to write your post without them included.
(Due to the difference in time zones, it might take a little while for Pasta and I to work out our post.)

News #3:
It is my birthday today, so this is likely the only time I will be online all day and since I will be throwing my birthday party on Saturday, I will not be online then, either.

With that out of the way, onto less serious matters.
I really appriciate that you guys are trying to keep the OOC alive and all; it makes me happy.
So, disregarding the fact that Halvtand thinks I should by trying to cure cancer instead of watching Swedish reality TV because he most likely thinks I should be trying to cure cancer over reading old comics, too, any of you guys read old comics? Or just comics in general?
If so, DC or Marvel?

Also, my little brother had his first Phychology classes yesterday and was all phyched about it. They were asked to wtire down the first thing they thought of when they heard the following sentences:

I feared that this question would pop in, 'cause you'll all think I'm weird. You probably do already, but... yeah.
I won't say that I have a OTP, really. I ship a few different things and some stuff just happened in my head and has always been like that.

In case ya'll aren't as nerdy as me, you might not recognize Haruka's family name; Hagane. There's a character from the show with that name, too; Hagane Kotetsu. You know, the one with the nose bandage thing? Originally, he was Haruka's older brother. During the story in which Haruka was created, it somehow happened that I made Kotetsu and his teammate, (Kamizuki) Izumo, became a couple-ish thing. It's been like that in my mind, ever since.

When I was... younger (around the same time that Haruka was created), I read a Fanfiction called "Teamwork". It's a Team 7 fanfiction, with all three of them in an unusual relationship. I liked it and I still do. If I can only pick two out of the three, I'd kick Sakura out.

Other than that, I've pretty much had everyone coupled with everyone in my mind (I'm a huge perv, okay?).

Chen has five tattoos. One of each of the four guardians of the compass directions from Chinese legend and a Monkey to symbolize his own Zodiac. The four guardians are; Dragon, Phoenix, Tortoise and Tiger.
The Dragon tattoo is located on the right side of his scalp. The Tiger tattoo is located on his left upper arm. The Tortoise tattoo is located on the side of his right thigh. The Phoenix tattoo is on his back.
The Monkey tattoo is on the back of his neck and one can just barely see its head sticking out over his collar.

Personality:
Bully Type Character
Chen is sarcastic, harsh and downright mean at times. He is a bitter person; angry with the world for having abandoned him and angry with himself for allowing himself to become someone he never wished to be. He is just really angry, all the time. He doesn't beat around the bush and will speak his mind as bluntly as the blades of his knives are sharp.
He does not mind getting a taste of his own medicine and if people inform him that he is being too harsh with someone, he will likely tone it down a bit. Not all the way, just a little bit.
He does not make friends and trust does not come easy to him. All acquaintances of his are “friends by convenience” and he would never go out of his way to help them or even just to talk to them.

Biography:
“Now, before I go ahead and tell you about my own damn history, I think ya'll need to know some shit about my ancestors. You've probably all heard of the Nakatomi Clan from old-time Japan, right? Yeah, right. None of you probably have. Well, the Nakatomi Clan were a clan of priests. Not the type of priests you have in the western world, might I add. They were like the Chinese monks you always see on TV, without the ass-kicking aspect. Anyways, both they and the rest of the country believed that they were a clan descended from divine ancestors and as such, they were obviously great and powerful. They were the a voice of the gods kind of thing and oversaw most of the rituals and stuff. They were second in command of the country, only outdone by the empiric family itself.
In Japan, we're mostly Shinto. It's a sort of religion. Look it up. We're mostly Shinto, but people think we're all a bunch of peace-loving Buddhists. Buddhas are amongst our Kami, but they're not the only ones. … Look Kami up, too, if you don't know what that means. Ah, shit, that doesn't even matter.
See, sometime during the Nakatomi Clan's history, some dude married a Chinese chick. He was the, like, the Great Priest of the clan at the time and she was a Temple Maiden in a temple that looked out for the four gates. They fell in love, got married and had a bunch of babies. Those were my ancestors. That was a long, long time ago.

My family is real traditional, still. I was never a fan of it, I gotta say. I grew up in a temple, did lots of praying and lots of meditation. I was a feisty kid, though, so my dad thought it'd be best if I learned how to calm down. I was taught how to do Tai Chi. It's real relaxing, but it took me a long time to realize that. I thought it was boring as hell and just wanted to go prank the monks, but my dad pretty much nailed me to the floor. When the Tai Chi didn't seem like it was enough to make me calm down, he had me take calligraphy classes, too. I could write perfectly before I started school.
When I did start school, though, I understood why my dad wanted me to calm down. People were bowing to me, calling me Nakatomi-sama all over the place. Even though we're not really all that great anymore, people still respect the hell out of our clan. So I calmed down. I trained my Tai Chi, went to school, did my homework, ate my vegetables and went to bed when I was told to. I did everything I was told to do, when I was told to do it. I was like a perfect little soldier. My life went on like that for a while.

When I was thirteen, I think, my dad signed me up for Kung Fu classes. I didn't really want to go, at first, but once I did, I was glad I did. It was the most fun I'd ever had. I caught on quite quickly, 'cause of my Tai Chi training. I wished my dad would have signed me up a bit earlier, though, 'cause my balls were about to split the first few times I had to do a high kick.
So my schedule was up to going to school everyday, doing Tai Chi every day and doing Kung Fu twice a week. I guess I had some people who could be called friends, but they never came home with me and I never went to their places. We were friends by convenience and only talked when we were around each other anyways.
By the time I turned fifteen, my dad took me off of the Tai Chi routine and started teaching me in the arts of the temple, instead. I had to learn, he told me, 'cause I'd be the next head of the temple. That didn't really sit right with me, but I did as I was told, like always.
When I was seventeen, I met the girl my dad had arranged for me to marry. I wasn't really down with that, so I took off. I left the place I'd always called home and, well, went exploring. I never finished school. I knew they'd look for me at school.
I lived on the streets for about a year. I picked pockets, shoplifted from stores and even mugged a few people. It was brutal, so I don't really like talking about it.
After about a year on the street, I was approached by this guy. He offered me a place to stay, clean clothes and food every day and all I had to do was, well, some not-so-legal things. Turned out that guy was part of the Yakuza.
I like to think that I'm not a bad person. I mean, I've done some horrible things; I really have. But I like to think that it was because I had to do it. I might be a bit... rough, but I'm not really evil or anything. I like to think so, at least...”

Magic:
Summoning Magic
Chen is able to bring either of his five tattoos to “life” and have them serve him as a sort of summon. He can only activate one of the tattoos at a time and if the tattoo is “killed” it will not be able to return to his body and as such can never be summoned again.

  Chen has trained in the art of Tai Chi since he was just a little boy; this allows him fluid and calculated movement.

  Chen was trained in the martial art of Kung Fu since the start of his teenage years; despite not being a master or even close to it, Chen knows how to defend himself.

  Chen speaks several languages, due to his origin. He speaks and writes Japanese fluently, has a more than basic understanding of Chinese and English and has a basic understanding of Korean, Russian, Spanish, German and French.

  Chen is stubborn as few and will, eventually, get his way as long as he has a say in it.


• Never surrenders
  Even if he is outnumbered, beaten half to death and bleeding all over the place, he will still fight to his last breath is drawn.

  Chen hurt his left shoulder during a fight and shattered the joint. He cannot move his arm very much without serious pain and thus cannot very well defend his left side.
