^ Too many differences.

Well, the Founding Fathers' religious views were quite different from the type of Christian you are talking about.

Every single one of the founding fathers was a WASP. That doesn't necessarily have any direct baring on what they intended for the United States to become, but it is the objective truth of the matter.
^ I was cheering for the Redcoats throughout that entire movie.

Ooh! Yes! This is less focused on the actual event, but more focused on people's opinions. First of all, just a disclaimer, I am an American and a Christian. I love both by faith and my country. That said! It annoys the crap outta me when other Christians or people state that we were founded as a Christian Nation. We weren't. No where in the Bible does it state that Rebellion is okay. In fact if we look at the whole taxes thing...looking at what Jesus said when the Jews asked him about paying taxes to the Roman Empire (Kinda similar situation to the Americas being owned by Britain thought not entirely), Jesus said, "Give unto Caesar's what is Caesars." So...I actually would say that the actions of the Founding Fathers were not in line with what Jesus taught at all. But that's just my opinion...

I don't think Israel under the Roman Empire is at all comparable to the Thirteen Colonies under Great Britain.
^ I think that's more of a case of people forgetting Delaware exists altogether.

Hey that isn't IRL....I prefer the term... colonizing...

Colonization was the best thing that ever happened to the world.
Nothing. The entire game has no enemies whatsoever, because Spam is dead.
Doivid said Yes, someone actually mapped this shit. And I love it. 8D

North Carolina and Virginia are a war-zone.
I enjoyed playing South Africa in the last WiR iteration. You're essentially a big fish in a small pond; a European power with advanced technology surrounded by foes that are quite literally restricted to throwing spears at you.

"Sangwich"? I have never, ever heard anyone say that.

Unlike most of the people in this thread, I don't live in North Mexico. I didn't even know "sangwich" was a thing.

Sooo said the Europeans after WW1 and the Treaty of Versailles happened. We all know how that turned out.

The Treaty of Versailles was harsh, but it didn't prescribe for Berlin to be burned down.

You never know as this is an alternate history.

We're all civilized European nation-states, bar the Kebabs. I'm sure we can arrange an amicable peace upon war's end.
