YangYang watched as everything they did had little damage, this worm was tough. She looked over to Ruby when she heard her name and caught the weapon Ruby had thrown and gave a wide smile. She looked to the worm and got a running start before throwing it as hard as she could, using her kinetic manipulation to make it go even faster. The worm roared loudly before creating a black shield around itself but the drill quickly destroyed it and drilled into it's side, missing the head as the worm moved. The explosion blew off a good portion of the armor and then Yin's attack hurt it even more. Raven's and Vixen's attack together made it clear that Plamsa and sound attacks were what worked best. It quickly sunk into the ground to regenerate. Yang was surprised how it still wasn't dead, no wonder nobody had killed it yet. She prepared herself, waiting for it to pop out again.
JuliaJulia watched everyone safely get out of the way, well almost everyone. Ruby was inches away from being eaten. She watched everyone attack it and gave a small smile, so far so good. She knew she wasn't going to be much help considering magic didn't do much to the worm and so she decided to go with another strategy. She placed Red down before placing her hands on her chest and closed her eyes.
"Awaken."
Her eyes shot open, turning red as they did. Everyone would sense the magic leaving her completely. Instead a sword appeared in her hand. The crystals glowed cyan brightly. She rose it up and held it tightly. The end of the hilt pushed up and the sword changed to a dark red. Then when the worm came up again Julia rushed forward. She swung the sword as she jumped and at the same time plasma shot out at the hilt, boosting her upwards. The blade cut through the armor quickly. Julia spun in the air and stabbed the worm in the back. It roared loudly once more. She then jumped off the word and as she did the sword exploded in a huge plasma blast. Julia held out her hand and the sword reappeared in her hand. The worm had taken a lot of damage, and from everyone's attacks it was clear plasma was the best thing to use, that or something which could pass through the armor.
The worm dug underground once more before coming back up. It roared loudly then opened it's mouth wide. As it did a huge plasma ball was created, bigger than what Kuro had made. Wind rapidly swirled around it. He shot it into the sky then dug into the ground once more. As the orb passed the clouds a thunderstorm appeared out of nowhere, thick black clouds turned the sky black. The plasma blast came down like a rocket big enough to hit everyone in the area.
The Spirit Fox and YoruichiThe spirit fox watched, the danger came as it predicted and the team were handling it as well as they all could however the worm sent off a blast that was far dangerous than any it had sent yet. It ran quickly as the bomb approached then when she was underneath it she leaped right into the plasma bomb. It turned a dark purple color with spiritual energy radiating off it. As it hit the ground it phased right through until it disappeared completely. Yoruichi saw this and immediately realised what was about to happen she shouted to everyone, making sure they could all hear.
"EVERYONE MOVE NOW!"
Yoruichi ran and jumped on Kuro before closing her eyes. Runes appeared on Kuro's body and suddenly he teleported away from the blast radius. It took only seconds before the entire ground exploded, lava sprouted from the ground violently but there was no sign of the worm. After minutes, the worm finally came up once more, screaming loudly. His entire armor had been destroyed, and was slowly regenerating, it's skin was red raw from the lava and there was a huge crater in the ground. The fox flew up from it and landed in front of everyone. She spoke in everyone's mind once more.
'Now, finish it off.'
She looked to Yoruichi who she knew who could see her before looking back to the worm.
KuroKuro watched as Yin came in to help, he smiled brightly and retreated back. This worm was powerful and there wasn't much he could do with that thick armor. He watched as Yin was able to do some good damage to it, as well as Yang with the help of Ruby, it seemed physical attacks were far better than magical attacks. He shouted at Yin, wanting to get his attention.
"Thanks for helping me Yin and well done! Keep at it!"
He watched as Julia even did some damage with a powerful plasma blade, before the worm created a huge blast itself. Kuro prepared himself, he wouldn't have to protect everyone from the impact but it seemed he didn't need to for the attack became spiritual and sunk into the ground. He instantly knew what was about to happen before Yoruichi warned everyone and teleported away. When the blast happened and the worm popped up again. This time weekend from it's own attack, all of it's defenses had been destroyed. Kuro gave a wide smile and aimed his hands towards the injured worm. He shot out multiple plasma blasts which would explode on contact, each doing a decent amount of damage.
Laura SchneeLaura watched as the soldiers sent off a hawk, and a few moments later someone had come. She looked to the person who had questioned her, and gave a small smile. It seemed Ruby, Yin and Yang had all gotten themselves into some sort of grand quest. She jumped off her giant knight and did a quick flip as she approached the ground and landed in front of her.
"My name is Laura Schnee, I'm looking for Ruby, Yin and Yang. They've been reported missing and I came looking for them. Then I found this place. I'm their friend, we all go to the academy with each other. Are they here? Take me to them, I want to see them for myself."
She stared at Rogue waiting for her to show her where her friends were. The knight stood close behind, sword in hand ready to attack if needed.
Sekhemi, Salem and IvySekhemi continued to walk through the forest with his army when suddenly the forest warped around him and only him into a huge dome. He heard a soft laughter before a black portal appeared and a woman dressed in all in black came out followed by a fallen angel. The woman in black stepped forward slowly.
"You brought quite the army. Are you here to destroy the forest again? You showed great potential, you could be a dangerous person if you used you're power, but just how dangerous? I intend to fight out."
She laughed and then Ivy stepped forward. She placed her hand on her hilt and gave a cocky smile. She watched Sekhemi closely before speaking.
"If you win, you can freely go. However, if you lose, I'm afraid you won't be going anywhere."
Sekhemi grabbed his golden knuckle dusters and placed them on before walking towards her. He stopped right in front of her and gave a soft laugh.
"One on one? That's a little unfair. You should fight together."
Salem laughed loudly and flew backwards into the black portal. It seemed that wasn't an option. Black fire covered his entire body once more before speaking again.
"Ready to die?"
Ivy jumped backwards onto the vine covered forest dome and then jumped back off it, doing a forward flip and landed on the opposite side of Sekhemi.
"I'm as ready to die as you are."
She didn't draw her sword but simply waited. Sekhemi ran at her quickly and went to punch her in the chest, she quickly moved her wing, blocking his attack. Her wings were solid, as hard as diamond. She blocked attack after attack as Sekhemi constantly tried to punch her. She would just laugh loudly the more frustrated he got.
"You're going to have to do more than punch, m'dear."
Sekhemi screamed and did a black flip then slammed his fist into the ground. The forest floor quickly wrapped around her as lava shot up, but she was safe within her forest shell. When the lava was gone she came out and laughed again. Sekhemi screamed once more.
"God damn it fight me!"
He rose his hands creating a huge black fire energy bomb then threw it at her. She watched as it approached and just before it hit her she covered herself completely with her wings. The black fire bomb exploded but it did nothing to her. She came out of hiding once more and laughed again.
"Fight you? Well, if you insist."
She finally drew her sword and pointed it at Sekhemi. It was huge, so big it was inches from his face even where he stood, totaling ten feet long. Sekhemi punched the sword away and ran at her but she quickly grabbed it with both hands and swung down, cutting his entire shoulder. He screamed in agony and fell down. The rose petal spikes dug into and and tore his shoulder apart.
"M'dear, you never bring fists to a sword fight, especially when that sword is ten foot long."
Sekhemi stood up and jumped into the air.
"SHUT UP!"
He burst into flames, fiery wings growing on his back. He held his hands high and created a large black fire ball but before he could do anything else Ivy had already swung her sword. It cut threw the black fire and it exploded right above Sekhemi. He fell down to the floor and coughed up blood. Slowly he forced himself up but before he could act Ivy thrusted the sword right through his chest. Sekhemi gasped before falling limp. The sword had gone all the way through, coming out of his spine. She picked him up with the sword and slammed him onto the forest wall, then to the forest floor, then wall then floor and the threw him off her sword. Before he landed on the floor lifeless, she held out her hand and shot a huge fire blast at him which exploded. Sekhemi's lifeless body fell to the floor. Then she heard Salem's voice.
"Is he dead?"
She stepped out of the black portal and looked over to Sekhemi slowly then to Ivy. She looked to Salem for a moment then followed her gaze.
"He's got power, and a lot of potential but he lacks the brains or even a calm mind to use them. He's hot headed, arrogant and quick to anger."
Salem slowly looked over to Sekhemi and walked over to his dead body. She stood over it and spoke once more.
"Do you think he will pass?"
Ivy slowly placed her sword away and spoke again.
"That I do."
Salem nodded and held out her hand, it was then that a black crystal appeared out of nowhere.
"Then let the test proceed."
She held the black crystal over his lifeless body and crushed it. Black dust scattered over him and within minutes, all of his injuries were healed in seconds and his eyes shot open. He stood up and ran at Ivy screaming angrily, he rose his fist to punch her until she drew her sword and pointed it at him.
"I would stop right there if I were you, unless you want to die again."
Sekhemi breathed heavily, before slowly lowering his fists. He looked to the two before sighing.
"What do you want with me?"
Salem looked to Ivy and gave a quick nod. With that, the dome disappeared, returning the forest to normal again. That was when Salem spoke.
"To recruit you, you have no choice now, you will discover that soon enough. I own you now Sekhemi, I own every last one of you."
Sekhemi looked to Ivy, before looking to Salem and sighed, nodding.
"Right. I will follow you, we all will."
Salem laughed loudly before clicking her fingers. With that, they all disappeared.
