Forcing an action onto someone else - i.e, an automatic hit without ability to resist, is a rule called Powergaming, at your own leisure together you may bend this rule, that's cool, but, if you could all be respectful to my choice and stick to its original conventions if attacking my characters? Nah, just grappling. Jack can escape Souta and recover pretty easily given his powerset. I'm not really sure why he has yet to do so, honestly.
