Second year seemed so far away! George span in his spot upon hearing another voice. He glanced over each of the faces behind them, flitting silent and unconscious judgment as anyone did.
"If it's been so long, why don't they let first years play?" George asked. It didn't seem fair but it probably made sense. He imagined briefly what it would be like to see Sadie trying to fly among so many others who'd had years of practice. It wasn't a pleasant sight.. He answered his own question during his moment of imagination and twisted back to the conversation at hand. George felt a twinge of misunderstanding during the mention of Harry's name. He'd been a curse word in his home- "Fucking-Potter", "Boy-Who-Lived-My-Arse", and his father's favorite "Fucking Potter." He had never really understood why and he still didn't. There were so many questions he still didn't have answers to, even after eleven years. He suspected Theo had already worked it out. He'd always been one step ahead.

George turned his attention off the exchange and looked about for his brother again. Theo had moved this time, standing nonchalantly against the backdrop of forest. He looked so cavalier standing tall in his uniform, George almost hated him and it made it him feel resentful. He had no reason to hate his brother other than for his own selfish jealously.

The crowd buzzed again when a girl stepped out and everyone's eyes shifted. No one seemed to be continuing their conversations now someone was racing. Everything seemed to be on her. All comments, cheers, hesitant and nervous breaths- no one's eyes were off the screen for more than a second. Pepper darted the course with a speed that seemed so unnatural. It wasn't enough though, her landing again and the echoing whines of the rest of Gryffindor seemed to prove that. The crowds quickly turned back to their conversations whilst the next student decided to have a go. George tugged from blades of grass from the floor, subconsciously ripping it into tiny pieces.

There was a cheer again from across the gathering, and everyone's attention snapped up. George flushed a vivid red that rivaled even the brightest of country beets. He watched his brother slide off his cloak and carry what looked like the broom their Uncle Chilton had bought him not days before they'd left for Hogwarts. It stood out that was for sure; silver wood and deep black bristles was totally common, right? George followed his brother's eye contact for the slightest second and stopped on Sadie's brother. It wasn't long until Theo had his two feet planted firmly on the ground, his chest low against his broom, waiting the whistle to blow.

"GO!" The announcer yelled followed by the eruption from the Ravenclaw gathering on the hill across. George watched with shallow breath and nerves as large as a house as his brother's journey was displayed so largely in front of everyone. What if he didn't beat the record? Or Sadie's brother beat him? He'd be embarrassed so much! There was no way Theo could solely rely on the newest model to keep Brennan out of the way.. This was all it was about, George was sure. That was unless Theo had someone he was impressing. The boy weaved between the towers, the wind rattling against his jumper and trousers, his thick brown hair blowing wildly. The Ravenclaw's had blown up into some kind of chant, guided by a skinny red head holding Theo's robes. Of course there was a girl- George turned his attention back to the screen as Theo came back into view, almost flat against his broom, heading straight for the finish, red faced and windswept.
Rhoynar felt the cool wave of relief crash against the bay, pushing his worries back into the gates, locking them away. He pulled his eyes from the ears of his horse and up to Illinfer.

"Thank you." He spoke. To have someone by his side, against his back, was comforting. Yet to have that same person so calmly offer to keep him family alive was a blessing. He would thank her again when they were safe; all that mattered was travelling home. He knew his family were safe, he believed they were, but the overwhelming concern and worry had robbed him of hope. The Knight returned the woman's smile thrust two heels into the sides of his steed, bursting into life once again. Irregardless of the concern at hand, they had a task, a mission- a quest. Rhoynar knew the journey into the Second East was useful. They had old friends, no doubt he could stir enough pots and ring enough bells to gather a powerful enough guard to send over to his family.

The journey passed in suitable silence. Little words needed to be said. Their journey had been exhausting and the knight knew he would need to relax before their journey onwards; even if it meant remaining at home for a little longer than they had originally planned. Slowly, on the horizon, a glow formed. Dimly lit stars against the horizon, shadows of great towers lingering in the dark. Astipor; the First East. It was an insulting name but it's people embraced it. The wind whipped down through the valley behind them, causing flags to ripple in the wind further out into the bay. Rhoynar let out a small exhale of breath to see his home safe from harm. He pushed his heels in more and galloped against the now stone path towards the city. Before him stood two great gates, wrought from steel and iron, above it rippled the flags of his family, bronze and red decorated with a symbol unknown to the people in the West. The Knight's horse slowed before the gates, waiting for them to creak open before him to display the flood of the city behind them.

Astipor sang at night. The culture of the Second East echoed throughout its streets. Vibrant colours and the freedom of so many danced about the stone streets, bouncing off every street corner until the citadel was reached. The courtyard below was a square, with a ceiling made from grape vines, sweet and somewhat bitter. Behind it loomed the great fort he called home. Rhoynar eased his horse into the courtyard and handed the beast over to the first person that offered. With hastened footsteps, he rushed inside and paused inside a room covered in the same vibrant and lively colours as the city outside. It stood stark against the capital, against the north and against the whole of Illium.
Hey sorry, I've been down with a huge migraine since the weekend. >.<

It definitly must be to do with money. Censor just to sell. It makes sense. It's a consumerist world, and there's nothing we can do about it. Pokemon is dark, I only realised as an adult.

Hey I don't expect you to post huge posts every time. So long as you're happy, I'm happy. I never pressure my partners, I'd rather they post what they're happy with and go from there.

Nah, I don't usually have a full main. She was just the first I thought of and wanted to get out of the way since I knew her face claim XD

HAVE FUN!
It was awesome! At least in my opinion. Pax must have been so good! I'll get excited a little more when I'm not in so much pain XD I'm so jealous! Really? Only last year?! Wow... That's crazy. I expected it to be so much longer. Where do you get all the blueprints (not the right word) for you cosplays? Or do you just make it up?
You've got until next year, you could always practise. It doesn't seem to difficult :)

Also I love how we've set it up for a Theo and Brennan to battle it out XD Their rivalry makes me smile so much. As much as I want Theo to win, he's a total prick, so I kind of don't XD Hes a complete selfish prick and I have a special place in my heart for him XD that's so strange... Nothing is more funny than how this will play out. I mean Theo's a chaser, he's going to be fast on a broom, it's who he is, but then there's Brennan, who hates him, not that we've explored why yet but they're a duo we can't ignore XD
I'll post soon, too much head pain right now XD

Awesome photos by the way! Did you make all your cosplay outfits? If you did MY GOD YOURE TALENTED! Where did you learn?!
Seriously, don't worry about it. Id rather know you were okay than ask you to post more regularly. I have partners who it takes sometimes two weeks to get a reply from so I'm patient as hell, don't worry. Get some rest, seriously!

I guess it might be seen as insulting to others. Take for example "No Russian". Yeah that was a pretty horrific scene if you think about it, gunning down an airport of civilians whilst being a terrorist. No wonder that level was censored, especially when you realise that a lot of people gunned down everyone they saw. But most of the time censorship makes no sense! In Until Dawn there's a scene (SPOILER) where two of friends are hog tied against a wall and you have to pick which one you save whilst the other gets sawn in half. In the U.S. and UK version, they kept the sawing, but in others, it's a black scene and all you hear is screaming which makes it worse, you're picturing it.. So it doesn't really make sense, maybe it is for ratings..

Quality is way better over quantity! But I feel it's pushing myself to become a better writer that way.. Who knows, but I agree. I'd rather be readying a reply that clearly took time and was fantastic to read than a difficult to read 4000 words
Yay youre back! How was PAX?! My god, you had an awesome summer! Way more exciting than anyone else! That's awesome :3

I'm okay, boring compared to your summer XD

You have to tell me everything about PAX!
You will also notice I changed the title XD

Ooooohhh, I'm an idiot.... Is it true there's a small amount of censoring when changing a game to fit within another country's laws in order to sell there? I know it will be but I can't get my head around it, especially considering how movies and TV shows can get past the censors?

I usually go off word count. It could be a shit ton of one line interactions between characters but hey, it adds up. I always aim to at least mirror the word count or post more, that way I'm challenging myself. Especially when I'm done and I know I could post more but feel lazy, but I'm still 200 words out, I always check and go ahead with what I had wanted to write anyway :)

Hey don't worry :)

Hahaha, you're not the only one who's phone wants to change words XD my phone constantly changes rp to "to"
