Roran stared into the flames, desperately linking things together. The gods were dead, yet a gods wind, or so his mother had called it, flew past with bone chilling cold. He couldn't quite understand. Yet it had been after they'd heard the mountain crumble slightly. If there had been someone following them, then the gods clearly didn't want him and his friends to be killed. Which meant the gods were back.. After so long? Yet, he couldn't just leave the Winter's watch.. He wasn't allowed. He had a debt to pay.

His thought were abruptly disturbed when the crates fell. He pushed himself to his feet and pulled his bow out as fast as he could. Wargs? Well, warg? He pushed an arrow into the strings and aimed at the crates.
"Out. Now." He spat, keeping his voice down so he didn't alert the others. A wind howled again, quietly get stop as cold. It pushed past his arms, chilling his fingers as they wrapped around the arrow. It seemed to swirl around the camp, pushing past his legs and blowing past his face. "Out. Now." He commanded again, ignoring the wind as best he could. It wasn't a gods wind, Merelda, the Queen god, was dead. She died with the last true King.. "Out. Now."
Zach gave an audible sigh and stopped as two of their group headed inside the old building.
"If the guide goes in, I guess we all are." He adjusted his bag and headed inside. He stopped by the doorway and looked at the others. "Maddison's right, half of us can't wander off. If something does happen, we need to be together." He held the door open for his sister, who was heading towards him, having let go of her friend's hand. "Well eat here." It was a fair plan. The smaller blonde glanced up at the sky as she walked.
"Looks like rain, probably best staying in here." She waved over to Maddison and stepped inside th building.

"Guys, it looks like it's going to rain." She shouted to Heath and Domonik. "Zach suggested we just eat here, get the rain out the way before we carry on exploring." She had a point. Exploring in the rain wasnt the best option, they'd Found that in Budapest. She waited by the doorway soon after, hoping to encourage the others to follow
Speaking off teaching, Emilie was going to keep her eyes out for another bow. It was unlikely that they'd find one but it certainly wasn't impossible. She'd go over the basics once they were out of the woods, maybe even tonight, though they'd need a target; shooting straight into wood killed an arrow. It was odd to think they hadn't come across an infected since the university, especially considering just how many there had been. Emilie adjusted her bag again, pulling out a water bottle, and drinking half of what was left. Part of her was dreading the highway, the infected were going to be here, it was once a popular place, though there would be even more in the town.
"I never took you for a fisherman." Emilie commented, holding her rucksack strap to busy her hands.

Up front, Andrew walked ahead, one hand on his pistol, the other wrapped tightly around the woman he loved. He'd lose her one day. Yet he didn't want to live without her. She wouldn't be able to fight the fungus, no one did. No one. He turned to look at Marc when he asked his question, possibly stepping too far to ask about Rena's own sanity. Regardless, she didn't seem insulted, thankfully.
"Whatever keeps you sane." Mary added, smiling at Rena. It was true, everyone had a way of seeing the infected, they killed you otherwise.

**ill get us to the highway in the next post unless someone else wants to**

Emilie had been considering heading back to her room and spending the rest of the day chatting and training over the internet. However, the intercom sounded and work was due. She didn't really bother to check over to see who the unknown party member was. She'd find out sooner or later. She disappeared from the room and walked up to her own room. A quick change and she was ready. Emilie never hid before a mask, she saw no point. Her ability was unique and shone through even in her everyday life.

Grabbing her bow from her locker, she pulled it onto her back and jogged up onto the plane. She may have been the last to arrive but at least she'd turned up. She took the now from her back and at down, studying the others quietly. She'd worked with Del once, the other, she didn't even know who she was.
