"I will. The police may be a little more understanding if I'm the one driving like a nekulturny bastard, if you'll excuse my Russian."

Claes threw some change on the table and smoothly intercepted the waitress for his drink. He fished his keys out and cut left after exiting the building. Overtaking Max, he slid into the drivers seat of his car and had it in gear by the time the other shad arrived. The drive was part of the reason he offered, the other part being that, as always, he had his rifle locked in the trunk. Flipping open the glove box, he grabbed a pair of spare magazines and dropped them into his coat pocket.

"Are we all ready? Someone should update the rest of the team on the situation."
Clint nodded from his place by the door. If all went well he wouldn't be needed, otherwise he'd be able to handle anything that comes to crash the party. He mulled the situation over in is head, how long it would take to move a sizable amount of loot over and how long it would take rescue to arrive.

"Will you need me to disable their engines or something? Might make them a little more open to dealing with us and slow down any pursuit after the fact. Hell, We could tell them to jump into the escape pods so that any rescuers have to waste time picking them all up."

He'd always thought a picture of a burning ship might make a good contrast to all of the scenic stuff on his wall, really highlight his skill set a bit.
Claes leaned forward onto the table, not bothering to get a fresh coffee yes as the taste of the cheap gas station brew was still fresh on his tongue. He nodded as Thomas sat down and then shook his head in response to the question. he then turned his attention back to Max.

"Keeping busy between jobs. PI stuff, you know. As for feelings, I might have dismissed it as simple paranoia, I've sure as hell made some enemies, but then you brought it up. But yeah, there's something."

He caught the waitresses eye and gestured that he wanted one of what Max was drinking.

"I called everyone after I stopped by the scene, think I may be early though. As for my thoughts on it, I'll wait until everyone is here."
Claes walked quickly down the sidewalk, his cup of coffee leaving a distinct trail of steam in the cool evening air. Red and blue lights ahead as he fished his phone out of his pocket and answered it one handed after checking the caller info.

"Tja! On my way, I caught the call on my scanner. I'll visit the scene first and see you in a moment."

He cut the call and dropped it into his pocket again, taking a last sip of his coffee before setting the cup onto the hood of a police car. Fishing his credentials out of his pocket, Claes flashed them to an officer and ducked under the cordon. There was precious little to see and he left again, grabbing his coffee and fishing out his phone again. He made the calls at he walked, barely allowing a word in with the exception of an acknowledgement before moving to the next on the list. As the last task force member was contacted he walking into the coffee shop, dumping his now empty cup of brew into the trash and nearly tossing himself into the seat across from Max.
2:00PM, The Tower

"Another option, aside from the blood affinity would be a teleporter. I shudder to think about what a pain in the ass that would be."

Lucas sat in his chair against the wall, turned mostly away from the front of the room to watch the assembled group. Elbows resting on his knees, he turned his head to watch the graphic slideshow. He leaned back until his head touched the wall, looking up now at the ceiling.

"They were alive when their insides were removed, maybe? I doubt someone capable of this would be concerned with how much having all of your organs removed would hurt. it's not like they could fight back."
