Jeez, the one time I'm off and you go and have a big discussion :) Anyway, from what I've seen, looks like no-one's posting anymore. That's a green light for the time-skip then?

♪ Songs of Hope! ♪

An idea that popped in my head, and I decided to make it. Don't really mind if anyone is interested, but I need something to kill the time, i.e: Please be interested!

Premise:

Humans have discovered the existence of the supernatural; vampire, werewolves, the thing from the swamp, you name it. If it's show up in the books or movies, it's probably true. Don't get worried though, relationships between us and them (whichever side you may be) are actually quite nice, and only a few years later, some monsters - ehem, I'm sorry, the polite term is Otherworlders - have even made it into the government!

The problem, however, lies in where exactly can they live from hereon? Despite our amicable relationships, there is definitely still some wariness on both sides (again, whichever you may be on) and both are not entirely too comfortable with living together. So what solution did we come to? Why, it was rather simple! If in America and other countries there are places predominantly for Chinese, called Chinatowns, or in Auckland, New Zealand for Europeans, then there is Other City! A large place for the Ethnic enclave of monsters to reside in, making it the largest enthnoburb in the world! Located near Treacherous Bay (not kidding about this name, people!) of the coast in Palawan, Philippines, the area has since become a haven for Otherworld kind everywhere!

Or, at the very least, that was the plan . . .

Since day one, the City's construction was sabotaged and placed under the control of local mafia and warlords, and have since used the port town as a trading post and place-for-all-things illegal. The government is under the thumb of the bosses there and the Otherworld citizens that came here expecting safety and freedom, instead find fear and darkness - the very thing they wanted to escape and the reason for the discovery of Other kind. The only way for Other City to be saved, and for it to become the sanctuary it was intended to be, the people must stand up and protest! But fear of the dark and years of destitute have left them dispirited and weak, and for awhile, they again sunk into the shadows like the monsters they were . . .

What now?

Something has changed, however. There are certain Otherworlders have seen the problem and how to fight it. The only problem is they need moral and support, a thing that was very hard to come by. Until now; hope has come from the most unlikely sources. The songs of seven young girls have somehow lifted the spirits of Otherworld citizens, and filled the quiet void of the dead City - the girls in question are known world wide as Solar System, a pop-star band of rising popularity.

For some reason, there songs have given the people of Other City hope, and with hope, a reason to fight; but the leaders of the vigilante groups wishing to free the city realize that listening to their music through the radio and on the TV isn't enough to turn that spark of hope into a blazing inferno: They need the real thing!

You? The Roleplayer

You play as a citizen of Other City, human or otherwise, and can either be a villain or hero. Whatever side you choose, the RP centers on one thing: Solar System. The various vigilante groups have pooled together enough money to host a live concert, hoping to light the fires of freedom.

As a vigilante or someone who supports the revitalizing of the city, you must make it your priority to make sure that this concert goes off without a hitch.
As one who supports the dark shadows of the city, you realize the danger this poses to your power and will do absolutely anything to stop it.

Pick a side and make a choice, the life of Othercity depends on it . . .

Vigilante Groups

Groups consisting of 5 - 20 members each, all dedicated to freeing the city somehow.

Dead Rabbits - a clan of werewolves that were here since the city's foundation were laid. The most violent of the vigilante groups. (16 members)

United Coven of Nightwalkers (UCN) - a gathering of vampire clans. Not as rich as they should be, but fairly well-off among the various groups. (13)

Mermaid Tail - a comparatively small group of mermaids that are interested in protecting only their territory. They've done a good job so far . . . (5)

Bleached Heads - a group of local hodge-podge monsters that are useful for causing chaos. There numbers swell up-and-down randomly due to deaths. (20+)

Endless Pit - a gang of harpies that are known to openly go around stealing and vandalizing certain properties belonging to local mafia. (10)

Gangs and Antagonists

Allah's Allies Against Monster (AAAM) - a local group of local terrorists from the MILF rebel group, and a splinter cell dedicated to eradicating monsters with fanatical terror.

Blue Sky inc. - a large construction company that has most of the city under debt. Secretly traffics Otherworlder's and sometimes their body parts.

Hunters - a local mafia that delights in their power and wishes to keep it that way.

Lobo - another mafia group that controls the underground prostitute and fighting rings. Ruthless and efficient, they are the ones primarily running the City

Solar System!

The pop-band that might just save a city! Here are there members (pictures to be added later. I make them myself, even if they aren't that impressive :I):

Maria Rose F. Ingalt - Tall German girl with shining blue eyes. Her singing isn't the most impressive of the group, but it's adequate. She's very good at acting and dancing. She prefers a pacifistic road in life, and rarely gets into arguments.

Alice W. Landde - a from Great Britain, she's somewhat timid, but her voice is definitely the most admirable of the group. She easily scares and is shy around strangers, but this seemingly disappears during her performances.

Celeste M. Aguerro - Spanish spitfire with a cute little meanstreak that somehow charms you. The best dancer and most athletic of the group. Among Solar System, she is the second most vocal of her opinions next to Joy, and is very headstrong with a good sense of justice.

Fiolina D. Gregory - An short Italian with a bad sense of direction and a good sense for people. She's surprising perceptive despite her laid back attitude, and despite her tomboyish looks, is quite popular.

Yukari S. Fenders - a half-American half-Japanese girl with a lot of energy. She's the sister of Mizore and the two of them combined often preform as a team known as 'Twin Spica' - note that they are not twins - and is a superb speaker, especially for advertisements and the like.

Mizore S. Fenders - Yukari's younger sister and the other half of 'Twin Spica' she's good at memorizing things and creating music and choreography. Most of the songs and dance numbers done by the group were made by her.

Joy Cherry N. Knight - the face and unofficial leader of the group, Joy is much like her name suggests. She's a boundless being of happiness and optimism, with a talent for affecting you with one of her smiles. Despite her happy attitude, she is also perceptive of people and good at reading their thoughts and emotions through body language alone. She enjoys bringing happiness to people and is the glue of the group. Even if she's only a slightly talented singer and only a decent dancer, her smile is the one thing that wows the crowd the most.

Orphanage for Supernatural Kids

Rina nodded and carried her plate to the kitchen (it was a common practice for her orphanage) and headed for outside, wanting to enjoy a nice little stroll. On the way, she gave a wave to Melody, Keegan, Kyo, and Melissa. "Good night. I'll just be on a stroll for awhile, if you're looking for me."

"Dante! Hey, how're you doing?" he asked, as cheerfully as he could manage.

David had followed all three of them into the forest, and listened from on top of a tree. Sure, he was being nosy, but it was in his nature to answer a cry for help - even if they didn't want him to. It wasn't the most attractive of traits, granted, but he still had to do it.

He heard what Jasmine said and grit his teeth. He wasn't sure if this was true, but he'd find out somehow.

David caught the glue and gave Dante a thumbs up. Then he turned towards Isabella right before Jasmine had her little meltdown and Dante whispered something to her. He narrowed his eyes. There was something going on here . . .
