Meruin nodded. "Come back if you want to, but don't forget to knock, or the defense grids might paralyze you by accident," she said.

The little magician stood up and walked towards her drawer. While getting some clothes, she continued talking. "I see. So how exactly do I remind you of her?" she asked, mostly for the sake of discussion.

The girl muttered out looking at her arm for a second "Do you have any brothers or sisters?" Liz asked sitting up from laying down on the floor and eating another cookie making sure it was the correct colour.

"It is very much possible to do away with the concept of humanity; most mages do it all the time, I myself am in the process of doing just that," said Meruin factually. "As to achieving that mindset, that is something for you to figure out. The change is different for everyone."

Meruin checked the clock again. It was almost time for her to work on her Grimoire, so Liz would have to leave soon, but not yet. "As to siblings . . . well, I have six older siblings, but I do not see them much. Why do you ask?"

"Of course," responded Meruin, still looking at it from several angles. "On the topic, to think in extremes is to give up the idea of one thing and focus completely on another. Your kind of magic is the kind that works most effectively with that mind set. You hold back and waste chances because of your mindset. Admittedly, this ties back to what I said; you're more elemental than human right now, so if you're to make your magic reach it's peak, you ought to stop thinking like a human.

"For example, you're afraid of what would happen if you were to run out of 'body' so to speak, but as a water elemental, it's almost impossible to drain you of water = outside of certain situations, you're practically immortal. Think about it: There is moisture and liquid everywhere. In the air, resting in the ground, there's no end to the supply with which you can create yourself."

I will have to ask if I can inspect it fully later," said Meruin, catching the bottle and looking at it from several angles, even seeing if she could lock a spell on it.. "So it appears that an exchange was made. If my guess is right, you're closer to an elemental than a human in your current state, which would mean the means by which you use magic has changed radically."
