Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

That was when the circle moved to the side, away from Tyler. Again, another bolt of light shot at him, this time aided by the black circles radial magic.

Cordie lost her mischievous grin, trotting her horse forward slowly. "I can garment, you are not scarier than a ghost." She said with deadly seriousness before she charged at David.

David frowned. "Well, if you say so," he said, before thrusting his lance forward. Cordie wasn't even close to him when he did, but David figured the explosion of air pressure would suffice to knock her down from the horse.
The mist did not blow; it didn't even move. Camoflouge wasn't its' intention, and the spell of Tyler broke down the moment it touched the mist. It was a spell that disable a persons five senses, as well as broke down any magic but the casters while in it.

It kept stretching on . . .
Meruin didn't respond - or show herself - instead, she decided to reply with a misty haze spreading slowly around the area.

"NOW!" Cordie proclaimed as her horse took off. The boy went and messed with David's equipment, loosening the saddle for the horse and spooking it, making it run too quickly.

David was startled! "Woah there!" he exclaimed. It was then that David demonstrated why - despite his friendly exterior and strong moral compass - most animals and a more than few people where afraid of him. "I said stop." His voice, though mild, boomed throughout the field. In terms of sheer physical power, David was the tactical equivalent to several nuclear missiles; this applied to his voice as well.

Just as the horse ran out of fear, it similarly stopped out of terror. David sighed, then grinned at Cordie while lifting his shield and lance to anticipate her charge. "Pretty sneaky, milady. Woulda worked too, if I wasn't a lot scarier than a ghost."
Suddenly, the black circle lit up, and a bright light flashed out of it, making anywhere but the circle unsafe.

"No promises." She smirked as she held her weapons up. "Prepare for the easiest duel of your life good sir!."

"Haha, I highly doubt that you would be the easiest. That dubious honor goes to another woman," he said grinning while recalling a certain mind reader he knew that couldn't hurt a fly even if her life depended on it. Rina really was a sweet girl. "So," he said, mounting his steed and readying his equipment. "Any time thou art ready, lass."

Cordie turned around quickly, a quirky half-grin on her face. "He's dead." She said then thought of something majorly cheesy. She cupped her hands around David's ear and whispered. "I see dead people."

David's eyebrows raised in surprise. "Huh, so you're some kinda necromancer gal? Well, can't say I've seen that before." He smirked. "Just tell them not to try anything funny."

"Okay this Damn 10-year-old boy keep pushing me over, dropping things on my head, or stepping on my toes whenever I talk to a guy. He's freaking 10!" She said sounding Irritated as she began to grab a shield.

"Jeremy...." She warned. "Only when we start...." She smirked. "yes...yes that would be mean....yes please do....I know I said no....Just do it!...you're way better than me." She said the last part with a pout, "And smarter than me...No I'm not saying that!....ugh fine! I eat boogers and worms when no one is looking." She said and stuck her tongue out. "There, happy?"

David, although confused, was nonetheless entertained by the whole scenario. "I take it I can't see him? And . . . you seem to planning something rather . . . nice. Should I be worried?"
A ray of bright white light struck from behind Tyler, followed by a black magic circle blossoming to life under him.
