Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

"Well, nice to meet you too, Jake," he said, leaning back on the chair. "Ten generations huh? That's neat; my Mom's the only one in my family to go to Hogwarts since my Dad's a muggle and everyone else went to Beaou-bea-baba something." He made a face as he tried to pronounce the name of the school. "Being honest, I'm glad mom decided to send me to Hogwarts instead. I've seen pics of that school and it's just so . . . frilly." Julius picked up Rocky and set him on his lap. "Anyway, as for what house I'd like to be in, Hufflepuff sounds cool. I mean I dig Slytherin's cunning, Griffinndor's bravery and Ravenclaws smarts, but loyalty sounds like the best deal out of all of them," he said, giving an honest smile. "I could careless really, it looks like they're all cool anyway~!"
Julius just grinned at Jake. He was looking around the apartments and the different people and generally just exploring. Apparently, the train was also bigger on the inside than it was on the outside! Well, at least that was the feeling he was getting. "Why sit down when there's still so much to see?" said Julius. "Although, now that you've invited me, I think it's only right I take you up on that!" The boy walked over to the seat in front of Jake and flopped down sloppily. Rocky followed in after him, his large beady eyes staring unblinkingly at Martin. Julius did a little stretch then placed his elbows on his knees and rested his chin on his hands. "So, I'm guessing this is your first year here too, right?" he said. "Nice ta meetcha, I'm Julius Mars Hillshire! You are?"
We just thought it would be nice to be in a place and be able to be ourselves without having to hide who we are. What about you? Why did you decide to come? Autumn asked, tilting her head to the side curiously.
"Please be seayed." The counselors said together. "Now our first activity is usually going to be something sports related. But today we would like to give you all a chance to get to know each otber. So we are going to play a game of truth or dare. We will ask you a question and you may choose to answer honestly or you may choose to do the dare which could be anything. Who would like to stsrt."
"Ah well, the truth is I was a bit forced to come here. I was overworking myself" -he abstained from saying again- "and the nuns back at the orphanage I live it didn't like it so much, so they told me to take a vacation like a normal teen. We argued for a bit, but I agreed eventually. I guess I did want some time off a little," he said, shrugging. Upon hearing the Counselors announcement, he grinned a bit. "Truth or dare huh? Sounds fun!" This coming from the person who's nickname was Dare.
Except Vector Manipulation can speed up movements, create tornadoes and mess up sound waves. Well, then again, it is pretty OP as an ability, maybe I should change it . . . Cryokinesis? Cold Manipulation
Oh, well that's too bad give me a sec . . . Instead of Plasma Manipulation, Sound Manipulation and vector manipulation is basically changing the direction and magnitude of whatever is around you.
Go on right ahead~
Thanks :3 Three abilities eh? Howabout:
  • Photokinesis (Light Manipulation)
  • Vector Manipulation
  • Plasmakinesis
Here, I was looking around at the first OOC post and wondering where it said to post here first and I couldn't find it. Turns out it was on the Character thread -_-;
Name: Ray Joe Ali Johnson Age: 19 Gender: Male Personality: Tough, hardworking and determined are the traits he is most identified with. He hates being treated as weak and moreover hates other people being weak. Joe honestly believes that a person that doesn't stand up for themselves is pathetic and is just making excuses. Joe when outside of work or studies likes to have fun and goof off. Despite all appearances however, he is actually intelligent and knowledgeable about various topics, as well as talented and skilled in numerous daily tasks such as cooking; those close to him dubbed him as a true 'Renaissance Man' - a master of multiple things. This is not quite true though: Everything he does is done out of a desperate need to avoid going back to his former lifestyle. It has made him reckless, cynical, and prone to self-destructive actions. Finally, the thing that can be considered a true weakness is his inability to trust a woman under any circumstance - no matter the consequence. Background: He was born as the son of an aspiring boxer and his High school sweetheart. Named after the greatest boxers the world as ever seen, his father hoped to raise him and create a great boxer out of him. He only got to do half of that. His father died just before he could sign a deal for his first Title Fight due to a car crash. At the time, Joe was 8 years old. His mother, 24 at the time, who had taken care of him up until that point went into depression, before leaving him with his neighbors and disappearing. He resented her ever since. Two years passed, and his life was living hell. His neighbors wife hated him greatly and saw him only as an extra burden. She repeatedly beat him and constantly drove him out of the house. The only reason she didn't kick him out completely was because her husband owed a debt of gratitude to his father, and actually liked him. Still, there was a limit to how much a person could endure. One day, he snapped and just . . . knocked her out. All it took was one hit and a ten year old boy knocked out a fully grown adult. Joe had definitely inherited his fathers genes. Still, out of fear or retribution, he ran out of the house and hid in a nearby park. The park, incidentally, was the training ground of a particular gym owner, who specialized in boxing. Like a moment of true destiny, the man found Joe and in an awkward attempt to snap him out of his depression, began an impromptu boxing session. Joe loved every minute of it. The man, Terry Finkles, was so impressed with him that he invited him to practice at his gym for free. He accepted. As soon as he got back home, he told his aunt and uncle about his meeting with Terry, and announced his intent to become the worlds best boxer. His neighbor was glad to see his father in him, and his wife was glad just to have him out more. Joe took odd jobs once he was fifteen to earn money for himself, and practiced constantly in the gym. Another event occurred, however, and all the money he had earned was stolen by a girl that pretended to be in love with him, and indirectly ruined his reputation in the gym. His distrust towards women solidified even more. The only person that he had left to trust was himself and Terry, he decided. Currently, he is practicing for his debut on the international boxing stage. Chosen Pill Color: Brown Other: Really, really good at boxing, cooking and cleaning.
I'm one of the people that got in before the slots filled (#7 to be precise - awesome) :D And sorry about that, I just thought someone already did that. I'll just edit it out later anyway.
