Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

Rina gingerly picked up her utensils and started eating. It was strange for her to have a quiet meal; back in her old orphanage, every meal was so noisy and filled with chat.
At the Football field #1 thirty minutes before the meeting, a spectacular show was going on. As it was night time, the students, who had to reign themselves in during the day and halt themselves from using their abilities, where going all-out with their abilities. The whole football field had transformed into a wondrous land, straight out of a fairy tale. Large trees towering hundreds of meters high sprung to life at random places. Teens were jumping from branch to branch or otherwise just flying in loops and curves through them. Some of them had glowing wings of various shapes: Butterfly wings, bat wings, glowing white angel wings. Large animals straight out of a fantasy book flew around unhindered. A giant moth as big as an apartment building flew above the area, carrying kids who jumped straight down from its back with excited yelps. A dragon flew low and went in circles, carrying a band of one person who was conducting an orchestra compromised of hundreds of floating instruments that exuded glowing musical notes as they played. Other students were swimming in a giant sphere of water floating right above the sudden forest. A Pegasus carrying one man swooped low and grabbed a random person every once in awhile, and the teen would cheerfully throw the surprised student straight into the giant body of water. Spires of ice and pillars of fire danced from the ground and twisted into the sky, and lightning crackled and boomed in response followed by sudden sweeping tornadoes or even an occasional tidal wave from out of nowhere. Some areas snowed, some rained, others where bright and sunny. A multi-colored aurora shined in the sky and several people were sliding down a literal rainbow bridge. The whole field looked like a diorama of colors and lights. Heads and bodies popped out of the ground, spirits and apparitions suddenly became visible and appeared and disappeared at random intervals. Laughter, cheering and shouting could be heard from everywhere you went.
David whistled. A dragon huh? He wondered if she could breath fire or fly. Well, either way, this would be fun to watch.
Solomon tripped and sucked in a breath as pain shot through his knee. He really needed to get more fit . . . He stopped to catch his breath. As he did so, he heard a voice coming from nearby. It sounded female. "Hello?" he called out tentatively. "Is anyone there?"
Chase nodded. "A very good point you bring up there, James. It's been heavily argued for years whether Time belongs in its own category, or whether it falls under the Akashic records. Personally, neither. To explain, the Akashic records is the sum equivalent of all the knowledge of reality itself - so it's reasonably well to assume that the secret to time is there. The Aeon of Creation and Destruction can actually affect the concept of Time itself, although it's limited to the knowledge you possess. You see where I am going with this now do you? A combination of both is Akasha and an Aeon will give you great control over the concept of time." The golden witch shrugged. "Still, there may indeed be a branch dedicated solely to time, but as you said, Chronomages haven't existed for years. Where do you kids think it belongs?"
Chase nodded, satisfied that they were paying attention. She frowned upon noticing Joseph's reaction . . . that would need to be addressed later. "Okay, so back to the lesson. In the basics, magic is defined as the ability to manipulate energy to impress your will on this world and create a reality that you desire. This isn't wrong, however it's only the surface of what magic is. The core of magic centers on three theorems: The Four Aeons, The Emerald Tablet, and The Akashic Records or otherwise none as the root."
Name: Solomon Roan Laes Age: 16 Gender: Male Appearance: (I'll add a picture later) 5'8 with short dark wavy hair and bright green eyes and a pale complexion. Likes to wear thick coats and full-gloves because he gets cold easily. Has a sapphire earring on his right ear. Usually wears sandals. Talent: Seals Backstory: Solomon is the son of a scribe's widow, and he grew up doing nothing but reading books, because his mother, out of fear wouldn't let him go outside, however, he came across a young girl that was already highly accomplished in magic. She was short, silent and honestly a little awkward even for him, but her knowledge and her experience with the outside world made him starve for more. The time came of course, when he was given a chance to choose. Spurred by the memory of that girl and a longing to meet her again and a desire to compare himself to the man he was and the mage she is, he of course chose the path of magic. Other: Is pretty good at housework and has incredibly poor social skills. Memorization and analysis are his key abilities, especially when it comes to books. Poor physical condition.
Solomon took a deep calming breath. Be calm. Magicians always retain their cool, that was what she said, he thought. I'll be just like her.I swear it. Still, it didn't change the fact that he was nervous. It was his first step to being a proper mage, of course it would be hard to remain calm! Moreover, moving around in this forest was difficult for someone of his physique. He hoped he found the Castle soon . . .
No prizes to who that female mage is xD Anyway, yeah, he'll be in for surprise. Should I post now?
Can I enter this guy? (Was originally going to enter Meruin, until I realized that she only has one master, and that is Reina ^_^)
