Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

David looked concernedly after Autumn. He'd check on her later. Perhaps the drop was a bit much, but he didn't have any better ideas at the time. He may have helped her, but that didn't mean he actually helped - just one of the many lessons he's learned the hard way. Sighing, he shook his head and put on a smile. "Me! I'd like to go next!" he said, giving a thumbs up.
David smiled. All right. Holding her hand firmly but gently and being careful not to overuse his strength, he pulled Autumn towards him and went into free fall. He switched Autumns positioning and carried her bridal style as he fell. David landed on the ground seconds later, looking absolutely unaffected by the height he fell from. He looked down at Autumn, smiling. "You all right?" he asked. Stuff like that usually affected people's nerves. It wouldn't be strange to say she would be a bit off balance.
Hey! Whoa, calm down miss!" cried out Lance as a sheathed sword came swinging towards him. He ducked and weaved out of the blows easily, while at the same time crying out and trying to calm the older woman. "Relax! I'm not going to -" -Dodge, sidestep- "do anything! Hey!"
David shot up immediately and without a word. His instincts were acting up again. Approaching the tree he did what he (arguably) did best: Play the hero. Putting just bit of strength in his legs, he jumped up and reached the spot where Autumn was at. He stretched out a hand. "Here," he called out, "just stay calm."
The current Rank 9, Lance Hieroth, paced through the corridors. It was the storage area for personal equipment, and he had to get some cleaning utensils for his weapons. On the way, he noticed a foreign woman . . . she was looking rather lost from his perspective. "Excuse," the tall Welshman called out, "what are you doing here, miss?"
David laughed. There's was something fun about all of this. The dragon girl was pretty cool too! THough it seemed she wasn't quite . . . dragonish enough? Well, whatever, it was still cool to see. He snickered at the thought of Autumn climbing a tree. She just so small . . . He decided that he would go next. "Go Autumn," he cheered.
Hm . . . accepted. Of course, there's the issue of what exactly she would be doing at the Academy, but otherwise, no problems :D
Julius winced as a shrill voice entered his ears and grated against them like sandpaper. A . . . rather nerdy looking girl with short black hair entered the compartment. When she smiled, she had braces on. It's a penguin. "It's a penguin." Of all the times for his mind and mouth to be in sync-! Shaking his head quickly, he covered up his little slip. "Uh, I mean, it's nice to meet ya, Moriah! I'm Julius!" Thinking back on what she said earlier, he found something he thought was weird. "What do you mean Slytherin is where all the bad guys go? It doesn't seem to be that bad of a house, it's just . . . kinda like the others, right? It's got some good stuff, some bad stuff. My dad even said that if he had to say which house would do the most for a lot of people, it would be Slytherin!" he said, crossing his arms. His father was his idol and really smart, so of course he was right! "Besides, I think Hufflepuff is the best house," he added.
Ray entered the room, looking disgruntled. He had a big fight coming up in a few months and his training had turned from hard to hell. He flopped down on the nearest couch and sighed deeply. He took a peak at all the others experimenting (playing?) with their powers and snorted; he had barely even used his. He'd experimented some, but in the end found it useless for his daily life, even when used in secret. "Say, does anyone know where the good Prof is? I've got a few questions for him," said Ray, looking around and not seeing the professor. The gruff man knew why they were given these powers, but there was still information that he needed before he could fully commit to this scheme. He didn't know about the others here (heck, he disliked a lot of them on first sight, especially the girls, and especially Penelope and that brat Emily) but he wasn't going in blind.
Solomon started at the different sounds permeating from the forest and quickly got up. For some reason, a building was now visible in the distance. He legged it as fast as he could, hoping he could make it in time.
