Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

Eh? What . . . oh. Holy crap, so sorry about that x(
Ahh of course, but the ability to put a theory to physical movement is something that most people cant do, thats why the need to 'drill' to train their body to 'remember' how to move, even if their mind already knows how it works. Nicholas has a superhuman ability to bring that altogether in a way that nobody else can. http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Adoptive_Muscle_Memory This is a subset of 'clarity' the ability to learn isnt just the speed in which he picks things up, its the way he learns. But I do take your point he may not be as fast just down to his weight, but I believe Nick is very agile anyway, regardless of his powers. definatley not as explosive as ray though. And as you say 'improvising' on the go is where Nick is actually miles ahead, as improvising is learning and reacting on the spot, which Nick's power allows him to do much more quickly and efficiently then anybody else.
Understood. Actually, his clarity would be a real pain in the ass for most terrorists or robbers wouldn't they? Plus, if he learns how to pickpocket or break locks . . . well, you get the idea. Nick can end up as the most versatile member, depending on circumstance :D
Cleo
Seeing all of this: the dancing freak, the coughing up of blood and the fainting boy, Cleo couldn't hold it in any longer; he began laughing like a mad(der) man. There were tears coming out of his eyes as he backed away and doubled over pointing at . . . wherever. It was in the general direction of the three, anyway. He was about to make a nice, witty comment about how Eva's sense of style caused Leon to puke blood, but then he caught sight of his sister. She was sweaty, tired looking, and currently being smothered by another girl. He wanted to make a yuri/lesbian joke, but that would delay him from getting away. Ah shit, just when it was getting fun. "Well, it was sooo nice meeting you guys, you've been fantastic entertainment! Goodbye!" said Cleo. He passed by Lisa and Eva and gave them a wink that promised nothing but bad things. "Entertain me another time, okay?" And with that, he attempted to disappear into a corner, all in order to avoid his sister.
Kanat
"Bweh!?" cried Kanat as she felt someone bump against her. In that small moment, Cleo became aware of her and began to visibly make a retreat. No! He's getting away! Kanat turned, annoyed at the person who bumped her . . . until she saw the excited smile, the cookies and . . . why couldn't she be easier to hate!? "U-uh, I'll take the Vanilla?" What am I doing!? Big brother is getting away! Oh, but this girls smile was so full of hope and expectations and she called me a friend-! I give up, she sighed mentally.
So far, the most combat effective powers I see belong to Heather, Orion, Ray and Darrien. Of course, it goes without saying that everyone at this point won't lose to normal people, but I think these four are the most useful in a fight (This is considering their abilities ONLY)
Ray stopped and kept his face straight. He was annoyed at the interruption, but . . . "You're right, That was childish of me. We have more important things to do," he conceded. "I'll make the pact, but I'm not much of a justice man. I'll help when needed, and do what I have to do, asides that . . . I have my own dreams. I can't abandon them to be a hero." He turned to Nick and scowled. "As for you shithead, watch your attitude. At some point, you're going to get yourself in more trouble than you could possibly ever handle, and like it or not, you're a part of the team, which means we all get dragged in with you." Ray clenched his fists threateningly. "If the time comes that we have to deal with a problem you caused, then you can be sure as hell that afterwards I will beat your ass as many times as it takes for you to learn your lesson."
Weight does not necessarily proportion to speed, especially in boxing :D Ray has had boxing as his focus for over ten years of his life. Plus, technique is only part of the speed. A good deal of it comes from muscle that Nick has not had the chance to build up yet. In any case, knowing the theory of boxing or fighting or how a person moves is useless once in the fight itself. Fighters have spent years studying each other, and in the end they still end up having to improvise on the go. If learning how to fight was all a person needed, then there wouldn't be anymore knockouts, and what fun would that be? xD
Upon seeing Rozie enter, Julius grinned and gestured to the empty space besides Moirah. "As you can see, you're quite free to join us~! We were just having this absolutely stimulating topic about which house is the best . . . I think." Continuing from earlier, Julius tilted his head. "Hm, anyway, from what my mom told me, there were some Gryffindors and others in the Death Eaters. One of them became pretty infamous, Peter um, something. I forget, really." He was of course, referring to Peter Pettigrew. "And Harry Potter himself said that SLytherin was the house of the bravest person he knew! It said so in his interview in the Daily Prophet! No names given though, but a lot of people thought he was talking about Hogwarts previous Headmaster." Julius is rarely one to read, but when he does, do not expect him to forget what he did read. "And besides, isn't the fact that it hasn't been dissolved yet proof that Slytherin isn't all bad? We need people who are sly enough to get away with anything every once in awhile," he ended with a cheeky grin.
Janos managed to dodge the kick - not by sheer skill, but instead by just dumb luck. When the commotion happened he lowered his knife and glanced at his opponent while being happy about the brief breather and a chance to regain his thoughts. That fellow's face just gave me an idea... He sheathed his knife and made a full set of twelve knives appear above himself.
Hansel stared at the interruption. THen he glared. His sword was in a position that frankly did not make him look friendly. "That was . . . annoying," he said. Then, turning to Janos, he lifted his sword horizontally forward. "NEver mind them, let's continue."
David grimaced. "Uh, well, that's uh, anticlimactic." He cleared his throat and steeled himself. Autumn was given a near traumatizing experience, the least he could do was put up with a little singing. He opened his mouth and sang like a god . . . of death. The song he chose? Sweet Child of Mine, by GNR. When he was finished, he took a deep breath and gave a weak, 'tada?' and sat back down trying to keep his face as straight as possible.
Ah? It has muscle memory too? Okay then, I guess it's more useful for fighting than I thought. Still that's pretty dangerous for Nick. He's going to need time to get used to those memories. Those are the punches of a heavy weight, if he's not careful, he could accidentally destroy his shoulders and knuckles with one punch.
