Strings of Fate: A Magical Girl Roleplay

Seren had long known that in comparison to Annie and the rest, she was lacking in everything except defense. Try as she might, it seemed her whole existence as a Magical Girl was centered around her shields. That didn't mean she was bitter, though; Seren was grateful for her abilities - it allowed her to protect others in ways that only she could. Even if that was all she could do, all it meant was that she needed to find a way to make the most out of her abilities.

Like now.

Seren leaped over Annie and practically ricocheted of the shields that were conjured in thin air. The moment she got behind the Error, a tightly packed column of shields erupted behind the it, forcing it to face Annie head-on.

This was a skill she had developed to control the direction in which Errors were moving, to force them to fight her in an area where she could win. It was also extremely useful when against multiple Errors.

"It's yours, Annie!" she exclaimed, landing neatly on a building nearby.

On The First Day sat upon the hilltop. It of course, had no gender, but for the sake of causing less confusion, from here on On The First Day will be referred to as 'she'. She watched the slowly setting sun and wondered about the people she had chosen. Each of them so different in personalities and backgrounds - probably the only thing that solidly linked them was their potential to receive her blessings. This was her first time having to manage a group of 'protagonists'; most of her fellow Virtues were already managing teams of their own, some of them preventing disasters on multiversal scale - one team was in fact able to battle Satan himself and seal him for another thousand years by that universes timeline (although On The First Day had heard that nearly everyone on that team died. A true pity, if that was the case - glorious and honorable death was death nonetheless, and can never be completely celebrated). On The First Day was not envious of their accomplishments, but rather wished that she could start helping out more.

The sun began to set and the world that was hosting her sunk into its twilight hours. How long would it be before her chose heroes arrived, she wondered. There was a universe that she was currently tasked to repair, and the arrival of her team would help immensely, in fact, it would be fair to say impossible to fix without them.

As she contemplated this, she saw figures making their way towards the hill, and smiled. It looked like it was finally time . . .

But adding 'efficiently' denotes 'how well she's using' her abilities. The others were commenting how she was using her abilities, but he said that 'she's using her abilities more efficiently than you assume' - no one was assuming anything about how well she was using her abilities, asides the fact that it is dangerous for her to use, which in this case is a different topic altogether.

Meruins face glowed a little hearing Liz praise Reina. She gave a small smile. "It's fine if we spar later, I'm not in a hurry."

Just then Meruin noticed a familiar face, accompanied by an unfamiliar face, and a baby.

"Isn't that girl the Celestial? I wonder how Sol is going to feel about hat," she said, choosing not to comment the child in her arms.
