Personality: Solitary, pragmatic, and stubbornly neutral, Nova is the sort of person who isn't quick to burn bridges, but neither is he quick to make any friends.  While not antisocial by any means, he doesn't make a habit of maintaining any permanent contacts, nor keeping any friends.  By extension, he tries to avoid contact with people in general, and while he doesn't usually venture too far from the dead zones, he also avoids a fair number of the larger settlements.  Despite his seemingly apathetic nature, Nova isn't as cold as he may seem, and will sometimes offer some amount of aid to someone in need, though it is usually on a limited scale.

Having lived outside of the larger settlements for most of his life, Nova is not unaccustomed to being isolated, and while this may have taken a toll on his psyche, it has benefited him in other ways.  He learned how to defend himself early on, as well as how to get around the city without getting killed by one of it's unnatural denizens.  As a result, he has developed a set of skills which give him an edge in survivalism.

Nova sees the city, quite simply, as an entity that eludes explanation, reason, and the laws of nature, but nonetheless exists.  It gives with one hand and takes with the other, and sometimes people live or die just because it wants them to.  He sees it for what it is, and while he has a respect for it, and sometimes refers to it as a living being, he does in no way relate it to any sort of god-like power.

On that note, Nova is basically an atheist, but that's also like saying a dog appreciates the color grey.  He's never been exposed to religion, and basically has no concept of god.  Oddly enough, he does have a fair understanding of philosophy, and will sometimes ponder the meaning of certain things.  He has, so far, not come to a solid conclusion, though he does hold a conception in his mind about the nature of consciousness itself.

Generally, he takes jobs either transporting things and messages between sectors or smaller settlements, or guiding inexperienced people through the city.  On rare occasions, he may take a job in a scavenging party to search for a cache, but this is quite rare.

Skills:
CQB Specialist - Good with pistols, machine pistols, SMGs, shotguns, and some carbines.
Runner - Fast and agile runner capable of moving throughout the City quickly and efficiently.
Elusive - Good at avoiding visual and audible detection (unless by unnatural means).
Attentive - Good at detecting threats before they become an immediate danger (unless by unnatural means).

Weaknesses:
Martial Autist - Incapable of defending himself without a weapon.  Weak with melee weapons.
Nervous - Easily startled if caught off guard.  Can affect him for a period of time.
Uninformed - Can come off as stupid to some, since he spends most of his time outside of any sector.

Requests: I would like for my character to not die unless it is discussed beforehand, but that's about it.  Pretty much everything else is free game.
