Not so much, currently.

There was an issue a few weeks ago that I was made aware of, and was going to fix, but the dev environment is a bit fucked unless you're Mahz atm - various small things related to setting up the database, etc. that need to be kept updated haven't been, and over time it's all piled up and made it near impossible to get anything done; you'd have to fix 16 (pulling that number out of thin air, is probably exaggerating) problems before you could even start on what you meant to accomplish to begin with.

Mahz will have to sort all that out eventually, but for now he is the only one who can do anything with the code, really. And besides, pull requests need to be accepted by Mahz and then pushed to the guild itself, and I'm not sure that he has time for even that at this point.

Alice nodded. "I suppoze vee are," she agreed.

Now that the introductions were finished, the Ministry representative explained to them everything they would need to know. Outlining the rules and regulations, the date and time of the first Task, etc. Alice listened attentively, while also thinking about the excitement that this year would bring. We've only been in this room for minutes, she thought, but it feels like it's been months already!

Time flies when you're having fun, I guess.

After he finished, the three were made to shake hands. Alice shook Beatrice's hand (again) cheerfully and friendly, in contrast to the professional, just-a-little-too-firm handshake she gave Anthony. They then gathered for a picture for the various wizarding newspapers across Europe. Of course, the camera was a relatively new invention at the time, and even with magic the contraption was still very bulky, and took up a fairly large portion of the room. Sitting in the corner, Alice hadn't even noticed it until now; although she had much more to think about than a large... something hidden in plain sight.

As the adults returned to the dining hall for the feast, the Champions remained. They could converse briefly if they were so inclined, or return to their friends in the other room instead.

Luther took his cue, opening his mouth to speak. But just before he was able to get a word out…

"Do you want both us Mediwitches on one mission, or do you want one of us to head along to McCarthy Manor as well?"

“Kyle. Haven't talked in a while, eh?"

Not expecting anyone else to talk – to him, it seemed quite clear that Ronan had wanted Luther to fill them in with what he knew, but maybe they hadn’t picked up on him. Or maybe they didn’t like him. He shook his head slightly. The Ashes seem to do this a lot during their meetings, don’t take it personally you dolt, he scolded himself.

After Drew had finished speaking, Luther spoke, interrupting anyone else who happened to speak, “As Ronan said, the Death Eaters have been hunting this man down for a while. I don’t quite know why the Dark Lord is so interested in him, but I have found that the Death Eaters have narrowed the search down to the county of Bristol. From what I’ve gathered they mean to make a final surge towards him soon, with a lot of manpower. If he is to be collected by us then we will need to find him, and secure him, with haste.”

Luther paused briefly to let this sink in, although from the sounds of it – ”Lots of things that need to be done now, as in, right now – in the present,” – Ronan had already gathered most of the information Luther had acquired. Damn – how am I supposed to be a useful spy if Ronan knows most of my intel before I even say it? He frowned very slightly at the thought.

“As for the captured operative, I hope Kyle and Drew don’t mind a few harmless spells if they have to be chased out – it would be mildly suspicious for two Death Eaters to walk in unannounced, then just walk out the moment an explosion is heard. We’ll have to at least look like we’re helping to stop you the best that we can,” Luther finished. Although anything that hits Kyle might be slightly not-so-unharmful, Luther thought.

If you guys wouldn't mind, I'd appreciate it if further posts wait until after I post in the morning. Seems a bit unreasonable for everyone to ignore the fact than Ronan had opened the floor to Luther for any longer, no matter how little they like him :P

@Shienvien Which distro? Ubuntu, presumably? I dual boot Linux Mint, and I don't recall having this issue the last time I booted into Linux.

It doesn't seem to be an FF-specific issue, as I haven't had it, nor a site-wide one. It'd surprise me if it was an Ubuntu-specific one, as Mint is based on Ubuntu and it hasn't occurred there, either. It is extremely unlikely to be machine-specific, since it occurs on multiple machines for you. I suppose it could be caused by any plugins you may have installed in FF, or your internet connection? Not sure what else it could be, honestly, although I could very well be wrong.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Mahz might be better equipped to do so once he returns from RL.

Wolf Manor

For the record, Jig absolutely despises collabs being written from multiple perspectives. That's why the Wolfs' actions/etc are never written out for you directly, they are stage directions which have to be written yourself, from your character's perspective.

Found this out in my first rp with Jig. And violated readily in my rp with Flav because I'm that kind of friend
