Maktane slapped Kaito's shoulder, "Beat's me," He looked at Kaito with a smile, "Come on, you don't really expect me to take the time to try think of a plan to get through a dungeon do you?" He chuckled a bit, "I'll leave the strategy's to you, I'm much better at killing things than planning out how to kill them."
Maktane grabbed a hold of Vixen's hand squeezing it slightly, he looked at her with a questioning look, "I highly doubt that," He smiled at her, "But whatever's wrong don't worry about it, I would never let anything happen to you." He kissed her on the cheek and nodded at Kaito, "And I'm pretty sure he would protect you too."
Maktane followed Kaito and glanced at Vixen. Nudging her, he whispered over to her, "Hey you okay?"
Maktane sighed a little and flicked Kaito forehead, "That's still no reason to kill someone." He shook his head getting a happier expression on his face, "Well, you seem to leader of this oh so glorious guild," He paused for a moment to stick his tongue out at Kaito, "Well Mr. Glorious Leader, lead the way." He gestured Kaito forward and bowed a little obviously mocking Kaito's authority.
Maktane looked at Kaito annoyed and pulled his fist back, he stepped forward and punched him as hard as he could, sending him flying across town. "Look, you may not have made any promises, but that gives you no excuse to kill someone." His eyes had a dark sense to them his voice deep and hostile.
Maktane dropped to the floor holding his stomach. He slowly got up and gently grabbed Vixen's arm. A weak smile appeared, "Hey, I'm fine now, no need to do anything else." He pulled Vixen into the safe zone and looked at the man and spoke his voice quiet and weak, "Get lost, if you don't I'll make sure these two aren't around to stop me from killing you." The man got up and slowly walked away. Maktane turned his attention to Vixen hugging her, "Thank you." He ate a small tablet that revived his HP gauge to full and grabbed Vixen's hand, "So," He laughed a little scratching the back of his head with his free hand, "Sorry about that little episode... Well, let's get going then, no need to postpone this thing any longer."
Maktane stopped a fist raised in the air. The man's HP gauge mere inches from depleting. He dropped the man and turned towards Vixen hugging her, "You're right... I did make a promise." He buried his face into her neck, tears falling down his face, "I'm sorry." The man on the floor laughed, "Aw, did the big bad killer grow soft." He stood up drank a potion, rejuvenating his health gauge. The man quickly grabbed Maktane pulled him back and stabbed him in the back, a long blade jutted out of his stomach. "If any of you move, I'll push the blade deeper, finishing him for good." Maktane held the area where the blade stuck out. "Damn you, you bastard." Maktane's voice was weak. The man spoke very confidently, "You two will escort me to the teleport gate and then you will forget about this man. Got it!"
Maktane watched her drag the man into the alley, he sighed, "Hold on Kaito, let me go see what's going on." He turned and walked into the alley. The man spat on Vixen's face, "Put me down bitch, I'm not here for you." Suddenly Maktane shot at the man ripping him from Vixen's grasp and slammed him into the ground, he stared angrily at him, "Call her that one more time." His voice became cold and dark, "I dare you." The man coughed and laughed, "Oh you mean like this... Bit..." Before he could finish his sentence Maktane yelled in anger and grabbed the mans head. He lifted the mans head into the air and started to continually slam it into the ground. Realizing he couldn't do anything in the safe zone of the town he began dragging him toward the exit. "I'm going to make you wish we never saw each other again." Maktane's voice gave a hint of murderous intent.
"Infinite combo huh? Sounds like a lot of strategy hullabaloo." Maktane chuckled a bit. "So the first dungeon as a guild... and a party for that matter." He smiled, "Sounds like fun." Maktane was worried slightly about running into the bounty hunter at the restaurant and it showed clearly on his face. Shaking his head a little, he tried not to think about it. Why out of all the times in the world, did I have to see him now? He thought to himself and frowned a tad bit. Sighing he looked at Kaito and Vixen, a smile returning to his face, Well... At least not everything is bad.
