>Musket finally decides to stop meditating and heads North, sensing it would be a spiritual journey.
Corrector Appearance:
Weapon of Choice: A .357 six shot revolver decorated ornate flames and skulls. It uses .357 magnum rounds and he carries all ammo in bandoliers on his person. He usually has around 50 bullets on him and when he runs out he has to resort to using his fists. The weapon is slow firing unless he fans it (repeatedly slamming down the hammer while firing to speed up the rate of fire) and he could easily be out gunned by modern weaponry. It's a short range weapon, meant for relatively close encounters. It packs a punch though, and when used efficiently, can be extremely lethal.
Cell Phone
Personality:
+Born to be wild- Isao loves going wild, whether that be on the road or on the battlefield, sometimes he turns into an absolute animal. (Enables Ghost Rider form if GM allows it.)
+Friendly- Isao is a pretty friendly guy, it's hard not to get along with him.
-Brutal- Sometimes Isao's wild side can turn dark, and in the heat of battle, he can be merciless.
+Thrill-Seeker- Isao is an adrenaline junkie, if his friends jump off a bridge, he might just be crazy enough to do it as well.
-Loose Canon- Isao doesn't always think before he acts.
+Loyal- Isao is as loyal as anyone can be to those he cares about.
Background: Isao Whitehead was born on August 17th, 1998 to Ko Matsumura and Hunter Whitehead. He was born in Tokyo, Japan. From an early age, Isao's father played western Music in his home, especially Rock and Blues. His father taught him about the history of these genres, feeding Isao curiosity for this wonderful sounding music. Motorcycles and westerns were a big part of his childhood as well. He loved to watch Clint Eastwood and John Wayne with his father. As he got older, Isao's interests in motorcycles intensified, he learned how they work, what models there were, their history and he found a comic book series that was based around an Anti-Hero riding a motorcycle. Ghost Rider. He was fascinated by the total badassery of this hero that it affected some decisions later in life.
His mother was less thrilled at this wave of western culture upon her child. She attempted to teach him about their samurai origins, but he wasn't nearly as interested. Eventually she just stopped trying. The older he got the more he adopted his father's interests. He and his father would go into the mountains to camp for days at a time. In high school, Isao was incredibly good at Science and Zoology. Part of this was due to the fact that his father would give him lessons when they ventured into the mountains. Isao was popular in high school, his friendly personality made him fun to be around. When he was 16, his father took him to America. He was amazed by the different customs and ways of life there, what America lacked in technology, they made up for in spirit and love for their country. Not to mention it was the home of the Harley Davidson motorcycle. He graduated high school in May, 2015. He went on a road trip with his best friend, Jurou, around the country. He entered college in march of 2016.
It was around this time that the DgtWld became huge. Isao could understand the appeal but he saw what happened to people who relied on the internet too much and he was determined to stay in touch with reality. That's why he chose to major in biology, specifically a career path that would place him in the mountains. In 2017, Isao's father got him a Harley-Davidson Sportster for his 19th birthday. It was the best gift he had ever gotten. It came with a link to the DgtWld and a radio. He disabled the link to the Dgtwld first thing, but upgraded the radio to surround sound. Jurou was there every step of the way with him, except he was training to be an officer in the military. Isao was contacted by a mysterious caller in 2018. The caller explained that Isao has been chosen for a special secret program to help protect Japan from hackers. The caller would not disclose why, only that refusal is not an option. So for the next 2 years of college, Isao worked as a corrector that goes by the alias Deddoai. He chose his appearance based on his favorite comic book hero. Sometimes. He was trained for 2 years by someone called Bosu. Bosu said his training was complete a couple weeks before graduation. Both Isao and Jurou graduated in 2020. Jurou was sent to a military base on the coast and Isao got a job with a Federal agency that operates in the mountains an hour from Tokyo. So he moved back home, much to his parents' delight.
Isao has been working as a biologist for two years and a corrector for four. He's had a steady relationship with his family and friends as well a doing good in his job. Everything is going well. Well, except for the fact that he can't seem to find a girlfriend. Maybe it's due to his 'weird' affiliation with western culture and the outdoors and that he's a secret anti hacker that poses as a sorta undead hell biker for the government. Nah, he just needs to find the right girl.@Anonymous Nonnie, hush. ;p @TheMusketMan Honestly it's a little frustrating how long this has drawn-out for, it makes you seem uncooperative and mulish, but that aside I'm still willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. Yes, the slight obsession your character has with Ghost Rider and the bike was vexing but I get it, it's your character's thing. However my main issue has and continues to be your weapon choices, not necessarily the weapon itself but the bizarre dynamics you give them. they're not realistic, this is a light sci-fi and slice of life. The weapons you augment make them seem like heavy sci-fi or fantasy. No one carries or needs 150 bullets to reload with, a 230 ft long whip is overkill and could easily guy tangled up and have a series of misfortunes along with it. You start off with reasonable ideas but then they get out of hand, just tune it down a little. Weapons should reflect the character's age and experience, they magically don't have limits, limits still exist with in the DgtWld. At this point all we're asking is that you actually think about the weapon. What seems REALISTIC and would be understandable to have? Does it have any drawbacks? Does it have any weaknesses? Is it meant for up close in personal, or hit and run? Where would it leave your character open to attack at? Little things like that make it easier to understand what you're going for and how it works. Details are lovely and always appreciated. If you want to use the revolver, perhaps drop the ammo count down to say 50? If you want to go back and use the whip, which are snazzy, bring it down to 10 feet. The chain part would probably be too heavy and the fire might just cause the metal to overheat and burn his hands. See limits and drawbacks. ~AliceUpdated and I don't wanna come across as an uncooperative dick, it's just... I like to be loaded for bear. And sometimes I get carried away and combine that with me being a stubborn ass. It's not a great combo. I'm sorry.
So... Let me get this straight... You're reducing his power by giving him a fire weapon that extends beyond the range of most pistols/revolvers? Not to mention it can extend and retract to be easily carried? [GM Putting Foot Down] We've repeatedly asked you to turn down both the power as well as the 'Ghost Rider' and you've been doing nothing but either blatantly ignoring us or making 'changes' that don't change anything. We keep telling you-everyone actually. You can have 1 upgrade. That's either one power up for your weapon, one aesthetic power up, or one ability power up. Not an aesthetic flaming skull, fire weapon AND motorcycle. One upgrade. ONE. I am quite upset by your persistence. Please Stop. [/GM Putting Foot Down]FTFY And ok, I'll think of something else.
On the topic of the title... Thank god, it already exists!HAH!
