Haha, no. Technology is the same as it is in the year 1835. That means rifles barrels and steam powered warships are cutting edge.

Is it fine if I make another IC post before the February update? It was going to be a treaty concerning Fulric-Schulstein-Skeptoni relations, if you would rather I can make it after the next update.

Please! Don't ever wait for me to post the update! Post as much as you want! That's what I want! Play on until the update comes, analyze what has happened the continue! I encourage multiple posts in between updates! Go! Go!

Fulric-Schulstein may very well end up being important in the next update!

Also LordZell your diplomatic inquiries to Kunenia and the others will be answered in February. I accidentally overlooked them. My apologies.
Yes. I think I actually made Nehalenia an enemy to too many nations, and that was an error on my part. It's a 0-2 with a modifier and it had 4 which was too many. Keep on trucking everybody.

IC posts are my favorite. Love seeing you guys flesh the world out.
Lord, yes your soldiers are professionals and of some of the highest quality. If I remember your "Martial Prowess" roll was the luckiest out of all the players.

I'll take a look at the navies. You might be right, in which case you'd have the largest navy in the world, no?
Wee! Finally someone posted in the IC! Some of you have already sent me your actions for February. Hold on off that, as the Jarelian Crisis is still ongoing and there will be a new one as well!
It's coming it's coming! Away to the IC, I say! The more you're IC the more you can shape the world because you give me more to work for, for the updates.

Also, I always try and flesh the world out by including characters and personalities from other nations. If you don't feel included, don't worry, I'll get to you!
By all means, keep posting! There's no limit. Post on, post on! I won't be posting the February Update until way late tonight!
February, it is. Expect it tonight.
Yes sir. I've now covered all the bases I needed to. The game is, for all intents and purposes, complete and out of my hands.

That military system isn't a complete rock, paper scissors but one type definitely counters another and during war will give you a big edge. I won't tell you what beats what obviously.

Now I just want things to begin picking up speed in the IC. Post everyone, post!
Ah yes, the Zanoni Tribes. I'll add them if I have the time! Keep posting IC.

Who else hasn't posted?! I need (to make) a list so I can keep track.

Are we ready for February or not? No rush, of course.

Under all the player dossiers you'll now see this:
| War Tactics: [Artillery Assault--Forced Conscription--Maneuver Warfare--Strategic Command] |

In your next IC post (don't tell me in a PM or OOC, your nation will need to pick one. Here's a quick rundown.

Artillery Assault: With an emphasis on lines of riflemen and artillery batteries, your nation's primary focus is critical and unrelenting destruction of the enemy. With your nation's industry used to equip your nation's forces with the most powerful cannons and accurate rifles, your army's primary strategy is the quick annihilation of enemy forces. [Supplemented by Industry]

Forced Conscription: Where other nations may utilize technology or strategy, your nation simply seeks victory through attrition. If there's a fire, your generals will put it out by piling bodies on it, the most plentiful resource available. The more troops, the more territory can be taken and the more your enemy has to kill if they wish to take the field. [Supplemented by Population]

Maneuver Warfare: Utilizing fast lines of supply and communication, your armies mobile cavalry and light skirmishers will complement your nation's army to quickly outflank the enemy, striking at their flanks and rear. This is optimal for nations that need a quick victory, but these troops must be highly specialized. [Supplemented by Forests, Mountains, Rivers and Harsh Terrain]

Strategic Command: Your troops may not be the best in the world (or they may be), but it is your commanders that are truly exemplary. So skilled are they that they can adapt and change. Few things surprise them, and even if operating autonomously they can often snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. No amount of genius can defeat being outproduced, out fought, or simply outmaneuvered however. [Supplemented by Train Army]
