Fantastic.

The beacon of democracy and an autocracy right next to each other.

I'll remind you that you don't need those technologies, as you can just buy weapons from other nations if you like. :D
Working on nation, but I'm a bit confused on the tech purchasing system. I assume 1895 is our starting year to determine costs by?

Yes

How much would I have to pay to get Bolt-action rifles and machineguns? Do I have to take grenades with them?

Nations begin with NO CURRENT TECHNOLOGIES.

Unlocking one costs (3 Nation Points + 1 Per Year Ahead). It's not any years ahead, so just 3 Nation Points. If you want Machine Gun's it 3 Nation Points + another 1..

Advancing an unlocked tech's year costs 1 Nation Point, the next costs 2 Nation Points, et cetera.

(Example: Unlocking Bolt Action Rifle costs 3 Nation Points, upgrading it to 1896 would be 1 Nation Point).

I reorganized the technologies so they should be much easier to decipher now.

POST YOUR APPLICATIONS!

The Kingdom of Soreno is about the size of Poland in 1920.

Excited to see everybody's application.
Working on it. Much more to come. Give me 24 hours?
The Continent would span from the western tip of Portugal to the western tip of India.

Faresia is probably as big as Australia. Serranthia is probably half as big as Australia. I'll put up a moderate size NPC nation and give you guys a comparison.

This will be a political map only.
Nation size is up to you. It'll be reflected in the nation application. But I'm going to use these cool dotted lines to create "provinces", you'll see!
Still need to add swamps, lakes and rivers to the map as well.

But the "shipbuilding" mechanic I have for you guys is going to be so awesome. Hahahaha.

Also. 1 turn = 6 months, unless at war.
New world. Give me a few days to get the mechanics down. Start eyeing your spot on the map!
What do you mean?
