Inspiration is good but not when I feel more inclined to make a pirate RP featuring anthromorphs (or furries, for those of you less inclined to long words)

Gods, it's tough for me to think outside the box. Why does the box hate me so?

Thoughts, screen. Why does one never translate well onto the other?

Hey yo, what's up, folks? I'm Adam if you wanna jump straight into a first-name basis and ThePlumbum (Plumbum or Plum for shorthand) if you don't. I'm a crappy Youtuber, an insanely slow biker and a mediocre, if enthusiastic, roleplayer. So. what's there to know about me, according to the official guidelines™?

Career thus far: Not illustrious, if I'm going to be honest. I used to be a known name around the TV Tropes roleplay forums, although not so much recently. After that I went to Pokécommunity and BMGf, the latter of which I was a roleplay moderator on for a short time... but truthfully all of this is kind of years ago now and I find myself trying to rekindle that spark I lost all those years ago. Basically, a very bad experience with a roleplay on Pokécommunity, which had seen me put a lot of effort into helping with worldbuild and a fairly strong/deep character of my own only for me to have a falling-out with the GM, who proceeded to simply use all that worldbuild I made uncredited and block me from the RP. That kinda killed my love for RP for a while and I want that spark back.

Roleplaying Preferences: Well, I pretty-much always roleplay in a group. I've always preferred having a good multitude of characters to interact and work with. As for themes... well, I'm used to fandom roleplays and I'd be most happy in something Fire Emblem or Mass Effect or Pokémon Mystery Dungeon-related, although I'm pretty adaptable to play 'most anything that catches my eyes, I like having a larger lore to pull the details from without having to constantly bug the GM for info.

Hobbies and Interests: As the above may have clued you off; gaming. Hell, I'm taking way too much pride in having done a Silent Assassin, Suit Only run on Hokkaido Professional difficulty (on Hitman 2016). Other than that, I'm a big wrestling fan, trying to get interested in independent wrestling but overwhelmed by the number of feds available and what they can all offer (being an anti-fan of Strong Style doesn't really help). Hell, for a short time, I did train as a pro wrestler and I intend to go back once I have the money to do so again.

So hey, that's about it for me! A quick summation of all I'm about and a hello to all!

EDIT: I never did mention, I was originally lured here for an RP I didn't end up taking part in years ago and I've not done anything since, so I consider me to be introducing myself to you all regardless
Of course, you may already know all this, and/or already contacted Ammokkx first, in which case, you can completely disregard this.

I did, but the concern is appreciated.
Here we go, have a thing. Welcome the limey, one and all.

Name:
Elias Strickland

Age:
15

Gender:
M

Appearance:
Lanky (a good 6'01" with a frame one could describe as "worryingly slim"), shaggy. He is not someone to make a particular first impression, what with his appearance always unkempt and dirty at best, his dirty-blond hair always covering over his eyes, although this is more through laziness toward cutting it more than any style sense. Furthermore his style sense seems to be picked up from whatever happens to fall onto him that day, running a horrible mismatch of clothes no matter what he wears and usually something inappropriate to the conditions.

Personality:
"Lazy slacker" does not even begin to describe Elias. He is comprehensively the most laid-back person he knows, often to the point he has been confused for someone under the influence. He does not set his sights high, often preferring to take whatever is the easiest route to getting a passable way through everything.

History:
What's to talk about? Elias lives in Portsmouth, England. He's always been a monumental slacker since day one and owing to his recent failing grades at school, he enlisted to the Duel Academy by sheer force of BS, seeing it as a far easier option to traditional education, not to mention stardom as a Duelist seems like a pretty easy life to have overall. So, sure, why not?

He has a history in his life of things going wrong. Well, not so dramatically but he tends towards the "bad luck" side of the spectrum and is a frequent example of Murphy's Law. If it can go wrong, it will go wrong, be it from social slips to missing that one vital detail even when paying attention, even as far as his Academy enrolment, delayed by what can only be described as copious amounts of red tape getting in the way of him actually leaving out of home for the place.
