It was Balance.

It was Rage.

It was Anguish.

Shiva was all these things, the unending representation of one of the primal forces of reality. It was not merely a greater being, it was above the very nature of this creature's existence. It was an avatar, a force beyond control, beyond defeat. It was Shiva, the force that held the very universe together, the Queen of Strings, the Hand of Justice. To compare it to a being of mere flesh and soul, one who had seperated it's existence so pahtetically, was nothing less than an insult.

So what was this agony that flowed through it?

The space shook, as Shiva turned in rage, a streak of purple cutting through it's chest, revealing not blood, but merely a burst of energy. It's will, it's anger, and it's power. All were one, as it's many hands shot towards this tiny bug. Space seemed to bend, as Mithias felt reality itself folding over him, as an immense wave of Will rushed towards him. The conceptual reality rearranging itself, his name being removed from existence. He could see his past flashing before his eyes, and not in that nice metaphorical way. As he realized he was being absolutely and completely erased.

Glowing with the brightest white, the Crash Hammer struck forward. Hope shines brightest in the moment of despair. A supernova on a stick, an orb of condensed emotional energy. Not just a power. Not just a weapon.

A Will.

The two clashed in the middle, the command of the Lord of Reality, and the determination of the universe. The will to survive, the hope of those who are about to face annihilation. In that moment, the universe stood together. Man and woman, and beings without gender. Creatures with an existence that could not be defined within a physical reality, beings of great power and great weakness. All those who knew, for just an instant, that they stood united against a single threat.

And for just a moment, time stood still. Waves of colliding force, shattering apart in vast patterns of overlapping areas in space, as both Wills vied for control over existence. An image of beautiful destruction, a portrait of rapture drawn in the lives and toils of men, and the infinite cruelty of a limitless being.

Then, everything was still. Breathing heavily, Mithias floated through the void, Crash Hammer gripped firmly in his hand, the spark of hope vanished, nearly absolutely erased. His body was torn to shreds, already putting itself back together. As was his mind attempting to grasp the events that had just unfolded, placing them in chronological order.

The Daemon.... was no more.

I'll allow for it to fracture time for just a moment. But to do more would cause potentially lethal damage to what I have hereby dubbed the Paradox Wall, which seperates alternate realities from one another.
Nah, I doubt it could do that to something as vast as the Universe.
@Teoinsanity

What is BSOD?
@Teoinsanity
Fine by me ^^

I go too deeply into concepts sometimes.

No, his communications channel is Purge, not SOLDIER. And they use access codes which Martin wouldn't have.
The Sorcerer who was struck with the sonic boom flew backwards, blood and spittle flying from his mouth as he crashed rolling across the floor. However, even as Aeshma attempted to move away from the scene, a crackling bolt of red lightning struck him. Red hot energy filled him for a moment, as he felt his physical body taking significant quantities of damage, equally mirrored onto his purer self. If his physical form was to be destroyed within the human realm, or even in Aegis, he would also be destroyed. One of the sorcerers grinned, glyphs and tattoos covering his face. Two balls of flame formed in his hands as he rushed forward, screaming words in Ancient Demon, the language of dark magic.

A screen of materialized solid shadow formed in front of a woman's hands, bullets striking the surface but not breaking through. Laughing, she allowed this shield to dissolve before gesturing forward. Portals opened around her shoulders, Spiked chains launchign themselves from them and attempting to strike at Noah. Her eyes glowed a bright purple, even as she whispered incantations undered her breath, her off hand clutching what appeared to be an obsidian dagger.

In the meantime, the dynamic duo charged the group atop the giant spider, whom at first didn't seem to notice the assault. However, as Zio jumped to attack one of the hooded figures, he felt his brain filling with pain. It was as if a hundred needles had been stuck into every muscle, liquid agony flowing through his veins. The unexpected sensation dropped him to the floor, and even as he dropped out of sight from the hooded figures the sensation disappeared. One of them looked to him, face hidden behind a metal mask. No blow landed, but rather the sensation of a punch struck Zio, knocking him off balance.

It was then that Mira struck out, blade slicing cleanly through the armoured carapace of the insectoid demon. It screeched in fury, clawed legs stamping around as it attempted to pierce it's elusive attacker, even as Mira almost elegantly danced out of the way of the barrage of attacks. The leg dropped neatly to the floor, before catching fire, it's physical form no longer sustainable. In mere moments, the limb had been reduced to nothing but ash.

Aeshma, meanwhile, found himself wounded and still recovering, attempting to maintain his physical form and throwing powerful emotional waves against his assailant. The runes on his arms and legs were more than just decoration however, they warded the sorcerer from magic both formed and natural. Aeshma's simple psychic presence just wasn't enough to stop him.

Then a catman jumped on top of the figure, both flames going out as the sorcerer fell to the floor, screaming and swatting at this unexpected attacker, firing a number of futile bursts of red lightning out into the air.
@ShadowVentus
I have a policy of not playing other people's characters?

I mean, you sent me a CS and everything, I assumed he was your character to play.
@Teoinsanity
When you state that it's personality is female, do you imply it's personality includes traits that we would associate with feminity or that she self-identifies as female?

Her humanoid form is whatever she feels like looking like, she can shapeshift.

This would seem to indicate that despite being a genderless organism Melody chooses to be associated with femininity, either to seem less alien to sexually dimorphic species, or due to her personality originally stemming from such a race.

Or I should stop overthinking this ^^
Oooooh..... darkness falls. That could really save Kami no Kage's ass.
