This place was 'market'. It was a word that was used constantly, in exchanges between the humans, but almost exclusively in this location. It was clear that they referred to this place, this time, or something here. Perhaps it was the stalls that lined the streets that made this 'market', perhaps it was the distance from the magnetic poles of the Earth, or perhaps it was the time of day. Whatever did, it was a new piece of information, and Alice very carefully stored it next to all it's other knowledge on the subject.

She was sitting on a bench in the middle of the Farmer's Market, observing everything that went on with wide eyes. It was the busiest location she was aware of, and as such the greatest learning experience. She observed the many interactions that occurred between the humans, from the buying and selling of goods to the exchange of greetings. She had already managed to pick up on the English language, and her vocabulary was rather impressive, if you took into account the time she had to learn in. There was a lot of information to take in, but having learned how to read had given her the impression that she was beginning to wrap her head around this world, beginning to understand the terms and rules by which it operated.

An almost explosive sound she recognized as the crack of metal against stone echoed through the air. Alice looked up, instantly focusing in on the source of the sound. Two figures appeared to be fighting, high in the sky. Her eyes became those of an eagle, allowing her to zoom in on the battle. The two figures were dressed in a manner inconsistent with what seemed to be the accepted norm, and based on the reactions of the people around her Alice realized that this was not a common occurrence. The fight went on for a bit, and although Alice was able to intercept what they said using hypersensitive ears, she didn't know what it meant. Clearly, there had been some form of conflict, but the source of the conflict was a mystery to her.

She had, out of the corner of her eye, also spotted another figure that seemed to defy the norm. His skin was light blue, and his clothing was again strange. He seemed to be interacting with a variety of humans, and again Alice intercepted the questions as well as the answers. From this she gathered that there had been a fight in this location not so long ago. Were they referring to the fight in the sky? No, that would make no sense. So another fight had occurred. Was this location common for fights, or was this coincidence? Alice chose to believe this was simply the place to fight stuff in, and decided that if she were to get into another fight she'd try to do it here. Or maybe in the sky.

Standing up, Alice walked over to the bar. Several humans had previously inquired as to the location of her parents, but her strange yellow eyes had caused them to leave. As such, all she got as she walked across the street was a number of strange looks, both concerned and afraid. After all, it wouldn't be the first time a demon had come to Davenport.
Kami no Kage smiled, as the audioreceptors in his suit picked up Katya's voice. His memory for noises of any kind was perfect, and he instantly recognized the voice. Turning away from the stubborn flunkies he'd been conversing with, he strolled in the direction of Katya and her men. He seemed not to care about the many weapons aimed at him, but based on Katya's experience he didn't have to. After all, he'd killed more men than this before. "Of course. You made it through the twilight. You're a killer, after all. It seems you may be able to assist me in this particular matter. The vampires are undoubtedly rallying for an attack, most likely on this location. I believe their leaders will personally oversee the conquering of Kilo Point." Kami no Kage stopped walking inches away from Katya, his monotone robotic voice still droning on. "I plan on finding their base and blowing the everloving shit out of them before they so much as think of attacking this location. They must have a base nearby, presumably underground, as we were unable to spot any vampire hordes out in the open. This will most likely be the same base previously utilized."
Should have posted the bio here first, anyways not accepted untill you read the rules

Ah, sorry. Forgot to place the cake thing.

And I should have? I assumed you placed in the Character section immediately.... Sorry, I've been out of touch for a month or two, and I'm still getting used to the new site.
Well, the title says that this is still open, so I made a character.

Could anyone give me a quick summary of the story so far?
Appearance:

Name: Lucy

Gender: N/A (identifies as female for convenience)

Age: 1 year, 4 months, 21 days

Alignment: Villain (mostly)

Race: Unique

Personality: Lucy doesn't understand humans, and doesn't understand how to interact with them. It speaks little, if at all, and observes every action performed by humans closely. It can blend into human society with moderate success, but will come off as someone with severe social disorders. When threatened it becomes violent, and it has a complete lack of empathy towards humans and other living beings. It has no active desire to kill, however. It's only real motivations are to discover more about itself and why it exists, as well as self preservation.

Powers:
Lucy's body consists of a mass of mutant cells with the capability to break apart most organic matter. It is a completely solid block of these cells, with no internal organs of any kind. It's thought processes are a Hive Mind based on the interactions between all these cells together, granting it the ability to alter it's body on the cellular level. It can transform, as well as regenerate, provided it's able to feed itself. It's lack of internal organs also makes it immensely hard to kill, as one would need to completely destroy it's body to completely end it. However, cells separated from the mass quickly starve to death with no energy reserves.

Using it's cellular control, Lucy can mimic almost any physical capabilities, provided it understands how it works. As such it usually mimics the capabilities of animals and insects in her 'combat forms'. She also becomes smarter as she gains mass, meaning that while in human form it's actually less intelligent than when transformed into, for example, a giant spider. She's immune to almost all poisons and diseases,

Ability: Lucy has little to no skills, relying on brute force and resilience to outdo it's opponents. This is due to complete lack of training of any kinds. It even lacks the defensive combat instincts of most lifeforms, and has no idea how to use most of it's capabilities to their greatest effect.

History:
Lucy Brown was the much-beloved daughter of one of Davenport's crime lords. When she was struck with severe brain cancer, her father had her treated by the best of the best. However, her illness was beyond the means of even the most advanced medicine to treat. Even under heavy chemotherapy her chances of survival were virtually nonexistent. As such, her father turned to experimental techniques tried out by one of the many mad scientists in Davenport.

The scientist, named David Linsler, devised an artifically created cell with the capability to break down cancer cells. A mass of cells would actively track down and break apart the infected cells, and then mutate into their place. Effectively they would restore any damaged tissue to it's original condition, granting it the capability to cure even advanced forms of cancer. The father agreed, and the cells were first devised and then injected into Lucy.

Unexpectedly, however, a mutation occurred within the strain of cells introduced to Lucy's body. They gained the capability to communicate beyond what was originally intended, forming a primitive hive mind. That mind then proceeded to gain the goal of multiplication, and to that end assimilated all of Lucy's vital organs. The new strain absorbed all others, and rapidly devoured Lucy from the inside out. This process, of course, killed poor Lucy. The resulting creature, having gained intelligence similar to that of a human being, then proceeded to kill the crime boss (who tried to shoot it).

The newly created monster was instantly abandoned by it's creator, who ran screaming to the hills after the crime lord was killed. It then proceeded to move out into the great open world, not knowing what to do or how to handle itself. No longer was it a simple cell attempting to multiply, but it was stuck in a world filled with beings it didn't understand. It would later take the name 'Lucy', based on it's origin story. It was branded a villain, however, because of several murders it committed in reaction to the slightest provocation.

Does Apply Pie count as a cake? If not, probably chocolate cake.
Yeah, but yours is so much harder to respond to! Honestly, I'm kind of stuck thinking of how to handle this situation right now.
Mia raises an eyebrow, as Minx zaps off. "Well...... I hope at least she's at the coordinates." She looks over at Raiden, and waves. "feel free to come along, if you want." She then turns and portals off.

The planet in question was inhabited by a reptilian race of beings known as the Sa'Ri. They had great regenerative properties, as well as being born with a variety of natural weapons, such as claws and venom. These feats had allowed them to become the dominant sentient species in their galaxy, forging an empire that mediated between the many smaller powers that surrounded them. However, their expansion had been halted by a unity formed between the smaller powers, if the Sa'Ri would attack any one of the smaller powers they would all unite. As such, a peace had been established, and trade flourished through the many space ports.

In the city of Diri'Kai, main trading capital of the Sa'Ri empire, a new threat had arisen. 5 hovered above the ground, lightning arcing around him as hundreds of civilians were torn apart by his Soular Powers. The ground was painted red with blood as his attacks ruptured their internal organs, ripping the body to shreds. The military had been deployed, but mere power armour and beam weaponry were nothing to a being such as 5. They fell before him like wheat before a scythe, and even their robotic Guard Drones were destroyed by his mastery of the Dark Side of the Force.

Mia walked through the streets, using Vector arrows to clear a way through the piles of corpses. Smiling, she spoke into the wrist-based communication device the Sergal had given her. "He's here all right. Just like I said he was. Anyone left in the city is as good as dead, if at all possible I'd like you to bomb the entire thing straight to the ground. Probably won't do much to hurt him, but it'll clear the terrain and keep him busy. I'm going to have to immunize your troops once you warp in, so have someone pick me up. Believe me, you don't want to get anywhere near this guy without some serious Soular protection."

Everything was coming together, and soon 5 would be in her hands. The Sergal, Minx and Stein would be the perfect team to take down 5, every detail had been planned for. Of course, it wouldn't go exactly as the rest thought it would, but what was life without surprises?

Closing down the call, she uses her cell phone to call someone else. This time, she reaches out to Drac. "Heya. Still got this number off someone I killed. In any case, remember how you said all that shit about not touching your family?" Mia pauses for a moment, allowing the dramatic effect to settle in. "It'll take you about 20 minutes to trace this, I encoded it. So just sit tight big boy, and wait for the fireworks." She then closes the phone and crushes it, sticking her hands in her pockets as she watches the destruction.
@supertinyking
Mia raises an eyebrow, smiling brightly. "You.... captured Nathan? Oh my. How impressive. You must have used that really competent and capable demon minion you have. Oh wait, nobody in your employ could even harm him." Still smiling, Mia impales his left eyeball, removing it from it's socket using the scalpel. She then drips a few drops of Black Blood into the eye socket, which immediately begin digging into the flesh, the cells dividing and multiplying as they absorb his demonic cells. "So here I am, with the dipshit who claims to have killed a Witch-Kishin without anyone else noticing, and the gullible jackass who believes him. And you know what? I think we're going to have a great time together, Ozzy. Bright futures await us."

The Black Blood would spread through his body, multiplying and growing, even as Mia added more to the pool. It sliced it's way through flesh and bone, working it's way into his muscles, into his every vein, into his brain and his heart. The regenerating flesh was simply devoured once more, until Ozzy gave up on regenerating. His skin began to peel from his flesh, and his bones began to crack, and yet his body remained perfect form, the Black Blood sustaining him. "I'm not going to take things slow, you see I'm an impatient girl. And 'slow' implies that there's going to be an end. But Ozzy, from this point on, you're my bitch. And you'll wake up every morning licking my heels, and you'll spend every day doing whatever I want. And maybe, if you beg me, I might let you rest every now and then."

Slowly, Mia moves the blade to Ozzy's left arm. The Black Blood held him in place, and both Cosmos and Voidwalker guarded her. Nothing could conceivably interrupt her, no rescue would appear. Any magic Ozzy might use would be countered, any attack he performed would be redirected. Smiling, Mia begins to cut into the muscle, knowing that once she finishes, Ozzy will never again be able to move under his own strength. "So how oh how did you get that picture, bitch?"
With a short shout, Mia flew through the metal wall. Seconds later she emerges unharmed, if rather annoyed. "Hey, hey, do I get to kill that one too?"

"Patience, dear." Cosmos smiles right back at the witch, although her seductive tendencies were wasted on him. Suffice to say females of his species were vastly different-looking from humans, and he found them all to look rather icky. Furthermore, his body had been dead for well over a week. Almost no disease was able to survive within his dead body, although the rot would set in far too easily if he allowed it. It was but a simple little spell that prevented his body from decaying around him. But with an even simpler spell, he merely redirected the air around his body, preventing the rotten breath from ever touching his skin. "I believe we'll need to have a talk, my dear. I have goals I wish to accomplish, and you might be most useful to me. Similarly, I hope to be of use in whatever scheme you may be brewing."

Clone troops covered all the exits, already preparing their weapons. Quite probably all of the base's security had been gathered in this particular location. Smiling, Mia raised an eyebrow as Logar seemed to switch sides nearly instantly. "Oh my. Logar, who knew you were such a pansy. Cosmos, may I?"

"Of course, dear. This would be rather inconvenient to us."

Mia raises both hands, even as the Clones begin to fire. She felt the wavelengths of those gathered souls, the sheer life force gathered in this room. She could feel the energy flowing through it, through all things, and she harmonized herself with it. Logar would feel, in that mere instant, a drastic change in the atmosphere. It was as if the air had turned to thick jelly, just for a microsecond, as Mia simultaneously resonated with every soul present. "Motherf*ckers go boom." White lightning arced through the air as screams echoed through the corridors of the clone base. They twitched and convulsed, blood exploding from every orifice. They then fell to the floor, dead before they hit the ground. Their internal organs had been liquefied.

"Now that that little ordeal is over, allow me to demonstrate to you how you're supposed to handle these situations. Pay close attention, and you might learn something important." Cosmos gestures, as a chain materializes around Ozzy's neck even as he tries to sneak away. With a sudden yank, he's sent sprawling across the floor. Should he resist, Mia would simply have hit him with another soular blast to quiet him down. "Mia. You know what to do...."

Mia crouched down besides Ozzy, as she retrieved a long, black scalpel from the folds of her robe. It was a familiar little thing with the capability to inflict permanent wounds. No healing magic or power could restore damage inflicted by this Cursed Blade, no regeneration would grant relief. The pain would not fade, as would be the case with other wounds, but would remain forever. "Now, aren't you a pretty face? See, you done something that's got my boyfriend in a stitch, and you know what? That kind of annoys me. I'm not even going to look at that picture, I'm just going to keep messing up your pretty little face until you tell me what it is. And then I'm going to keep removing bits you like until you undo it, starting with your dick." She gestures helpfully with the scalpel to the area she intended to remove, before she placed the tip above his left eye.
Yeah, he'll have arrived in the early morning, when Bedi and Mithias have already escaped.
