Before you joined the roleplay, Kami no Kage tried to create a peace between the Purge and SOLDIER twice. The first time he tried to join forces with SOLDIER against an incoming vampire attack. The second time he went to their headquarters and spoke with their leaders. Both times, SOLDIER tried to have him killed. So when he met Katya, he was fairly pissed off at SOLDIER in general.
If I made some mistakes in my post, please point them out. I haven't been present for a while, and don't have the time nor patience to read through the hundreds of posts made in my absence. So my understanding of the current state of affairs is dependent of the information I receive from others.
The world was in chaos.

In every country, vampires rose against humans, facing the local military forces. Raw physical strength was matched against technology and numbers, in a bloodbath that exceeded any previous World War. Weapons of mass destruction became useless against an opponent who was everywhere, great hordes of vampires facing off against militaries not equipped to deal with the supernatural threat. Disorder, confusion and fear were the greatest weapons of these demons, as they pillaged and raped. Ruin and death spread, as those vampires who would choose to remain neutral were dragged into the conflict, those countries with high vampire populations nearly instantly collapsing into a state of broken anarchy.

In America, SOLDIER had assimilated the American military using their special equipment and training to better deal with the newly arisen vampire threat. However, they were hard pressed. The presence of the Oldbloods was the greatest here, and beyond their personal might their presence rallied the vampiric hordes into a far more organized movement. Packs of vampires struck vulnerable locations, taking down power, communications, and transport. They intercepted backup, and took down a variety of SOLDIER outposts with their coordinated assault. The humans were hard pressed to hold their own.

Of course, in their ignorance the fools had angered a slumbering giant.

"The world is covered in filth and corruption. The fallen devour the meek, demons rule over the hordes of undead. This world has become an impute place, a place of sacrilege." Kami no Kage smiled beneath his mask, as he spoke into the built-in communications device. "We shall purge it all with fire."

Across the country, the Purge mobilized, revealing their newest and most effective anti-vampire weapon: the Purging Shrine. A large quadripedal tank-like walker, heavily armoured and capable of moving over any form of terrain. It's ever inch covered in slight crucifix-shaped indentations, making climbing it nearly impossible for unprotected vampire hands. Atop of it's large, hulking body sat a large flamethrower that fired in four directions. Friendly fire was not an issue for the purge. The projectile consisted of modified napalm, enhanced with magnesium. The whole mixture was blessed, giving it the same properties as holy water for most vampires. It's armour was too thick to be pierced by even the strongest vampires, it's weapons capable of mass anti-infantry destruction.

The Sacred Hosts moved across the land, emerging from nowhere to purge entire cities at a time. Hordes of vampires struck by a Host were decimated, unable to fight back. Air support clouded the entire area in Holy Vapour, burning the vampire's eyes out and preventing their escape. Using ultraviolet sensors and their willingness to indiscriminate destruction, the hosts were at a massive advantage in the mists, and even the strongest of vampires were weakened to the point where they could be dealt with by the thick clouds. Within 24 hours of the Purge's initial attack, thousands of vampires had been annihilated across the country, their relentless attacks put to a sudden halt by the Purge.

Of course, such a goal could not be achieved without a few sacrifices. Any humans that remained in vampire-infested territory were instantly annihilated. Those villages and towns that had been conquered by the vampires were purged of all life, even woodland animals being destroyed in the inferno. All had been tainted. All must be purged.

Unarmed, Kami no Kage approached Kilo Point. Rebuilt from it's previous encounters, this point was one of the larger SOLDIER outposts, and was currently home to several members of it's leadership. At the gates he was apprehended, and he simply surrendered, allowing himself to be captured and searched. His armour could not be removed, of course, and the SOLDIERs arresting him were sufficiently intimidated not to press the issue. One last time, Kami no Kage would speak with SOLDIER. And one last time, he would make the offer of cooperation. Had it not been such a dire time, he would have fought and annihilated them for their past transgressions against him and his people, but there were bigger issues right now. If they did not unite, or at the very least settle for a peace, the world might fall into darkness.
Of course, this exchange could not go long before being interrupted.... again. Of course, this time the interruption was of a slightly more malign nature.

Reality seemed to split apart, revealing a well-dressed man with pale grey eyes as he walked through the newly formed portal. Whatever magic Ozzy had used to separate himself and the witch from the timeline of this dimension seemed to bend around Cosmos, shattering as Cosmos pulled even the slightest of strings. He smiled, as Ozzy whirled to face this newly appearing threat. "Oh my, what have we here? It's a moron who forgot to bring his bodyguards."

Whether Ozzy tried to teleport out, or whether his demons attempted to move in, it was irrelevant. A powerful dimensional lock had grasped the area, emanating from the tiny floating form of the Voidwalker as she hovered over the ground. Her single golden eye observed her surroundings, specifically appraising the witch. Nobody would be able to move in or out of this location through use of portals, besides by her permission. The only escape was physical.

As such, Ozzy, realizing the danger he was in, would turn to flee. In his home realm he might have been able to fight off these foes, but facing two Omegans alone was the equivalent of suicide. Of course, even as he started to run he met Mia's fist, face-first. Her soul sight allowing her to predict his path, he Black Blood giving her the strength to send him flying backwards, she emerged from another portal, smiling brightly. Eyes glowed brightly green as she drew a scalpel with her off hand.

The three Omegans surrounded Ozzy, as the witch was left rather confused as to what was going on, and Dark Seer began to recover from Ozzy's magic. Cosmos chuckled. "You dun fucked up, mate."
Ooooh, going on holiday? You could have Bedhivere go on a brooding spree.
Yes, but when was the last time Gabriel gave a shit about what anyone else said?

Quite frankly, if anyone could evade the Council and lead them on a merry goose chase, it's Gabriel.

And Kami and the Purge will most definitely be making a grand appearance. I'm thinking of making one, final attempt at getting SOLDIER to cooperate now that the vampires are literally raping and pillaging in the countryside, and then have the Purge move in. Got some new anti-vamp tactics I'd like to try out.
Hiya. Guess what?

I'm back.

From what I've been hearing, the vampires have been winning this little war. Of course, both Kami and Gabriel are opposed to the war, albeit in different ways. Kami wants to annihilate all vampires, while Gabriel just doesn't want his favourite brothels blown up. Either way, I'm going to have to intervene here.

"Not an emperor, an adventurer. And I honestly don't have a clue. One moment, I was trying out the new model on some demons, the next there are furries EVERYWHERE." Matt raises his hand to his chin, as he slowly observes the scene around him. He then walks over to one of the clones, and snatches away his rifle. "Who are you guys, anyway? I mean, those wasp things tried to kill me, so I blew the everliving shit out of em, but I'm rather clueless as to what's going on. Are wasps the dominant species in this dimension?" While he's talking he quickly dismantles the rifle, breaking it apart with fingers like quicksilver, already grasping the mechanics of it. Delta recognized the movements as the same she had seen from the greatest Clone Engineers, the touch of one who is sufficiently intimate with a device that they can treat it as an extension of their body.

Alucard and Mithias seemed to writhe and explode as the two bodies fought. Cells absorbed cells, miniature power exchanges, a battle expressed both in the infinitesimally small and in the major roiling of the now almost liquid forms of the two vampires. Each seemed to be trying to eat the other, and yet neither party was able to gain the advantage. No longer able to use his superior skill and power to his advantage, Alucard was forced to utilize solely the strength of his cellular manipulation, which was equalled by Mithias.

Within each vampire hid another vampire, Tsukune's from two alternate realities. And even as the battle between the two bodies continued, both souls seemed to bond. Mithias and Alucard were nearly opposites of one another, each formed by the events of their particular reality, each shaped by their experiences. But both Tsukunes were nearly identical, and reacted as such. It was perhaps this balance that prevented either side from gaining any particular advantage.

Floating a few meters in the air, surrouned by a halo of burning orphans, Bob watched the display. At any other period of time, he might have continued to watch. Perhaps he would have placed bets, or interfered, or perhaps he would have simply sat back and enjoyed the show. But not this time. His family had been threatened. The only recourse was the rather grim matter of annihilating the threat.

Energy gathered as Bob pointed downwards at the mass of shifting flesh, the flaming orphans being compressed into a single point, an orb of black power that seemed to bend space itself. The greatest nightmare, the most primal of fears, manifested. The fear of death, embodied in death. The conceptual annihilation of life, an absolute finisher attack that was perhaps Bob's greatest trump card. Were it to hit, even the near-immortal vampires would be wiped from existence.

Four souls hung in the balance. And yet to Bob, who had seen thousands pass hands, it was merely a necessary fatality.

The robot suit seemed to hiss, as the cockpit opens. The music stops, as a cloud of steam emerges from the sides of the cockpit, creating a rather dramatic effect. This is soon after ruined by the figure from inside the cockpit falling out of it into the grass, coughing his lungs out. "Shit.... smoke.... bad idea... gotta revise that...."

After a few moments of coughing, he gets his shit back together and walks up to where Delta was already arresting Honey. "Now now, no need for that. Let's make sure we all get along." He holds one hand out to honey, and the other to Delta, as if to perform two handshakes at once. "Nice to meet you two. The name's Matt."
