Yeah, sorry about my posting rate. As previously stated, I'm in the middle of my exams. But I just completed my last exam today, so I should be able to post more frequently. Effectively, it's all holiday from here on out for me.

"All right...." Hesitating, the woman wasn't entirely sure how to react to this slew of strange. Of course, she had clearly witnessed the appearance of several figures before, including one who had attempted to wipe her memory of the event. So she was certainly willing to accept that he came from a place foreign to her. And the great chasms she'd seen in the ground confirmed that some battle had occurred while she was knocked out. But telling this figure that might not be the best move. She still wasn't sure if he was a threat or not, and to what extent his powers remained. "Whatever you say. Of course, if we do manage to pull this off, you're going to have to show me this shit, so I know you're not crazy."

She held out her hand, choosing to currently ignore the implication that he ate people. "My name's Alice. If we're going to be working together, I should know your name."

Cosmos raised an eyebrow, debating in what manner to answer the question. In truth, he wasn't entirely sure what the creature was himself, nor if it was capable of grasping the more philosophical implications of the question. What he did know, however, was that this revealed sentience, the capability to understand language. Whether this knowledge had been interred into it's mind at the time of it's creation or it had acquired it later would be impossible to test, but it was most likely capable of learning. So it could be trained. "A magical construct with an emergent latent intelligence." It was a correct answer, of course, but most likely not the answer the creature wanted. Unless it was truly unaware of it's own existence.

"On the more philosophical side, you are a sentient being, possessing of a soul, body and mind. From what I have observed you are fully capable of learning, and as such the path you choose to follow is entirely your own." Cosmos had some limited experience with emergent intelligence, the phenomenon that a previously nonsentient entity could develop sentience through absorption of or exposure to intelligent beings, or the transfer of data. As such he realized that this being would most likely seek verification of it's existence and it's capability to make choices. Any attempt to control it through the assertion of it's lack of choice would most likely result in an act of rebellion, an unseemly risk to take. "Of course, you're also a highly capable warrior, simply due to your nature. And as such the choices you make could profoundly impact the Multiverse itself."

Thanks. Hate to be a stickler for this kind of stuff, but it's a fairly important plot element.

Arriving at it's destination, the creature immediately attempts to dig into Cosmos. This, of course, was not something Cosmos was prepared to risk. This body held some meaning for his compatriots, and he was intent on keeping it intact. However, to deprive the creature of prey entirely would most likely incur it's wrath. And that would remove any chance he had of studying it in it's more natural state, when it was not engaged in combat.

Cosmos shot backwards, avoiding the grasping tentacles. Whilst it would have been impossible to evade the wire creature's grasp forever, it was quite possible to distract it. Using his limited telekinesis, Cosmos held Raiden's now heavily wounded form in front of himself. He didn't know if the Sith would resist being probed, but it would certainly be interesting to see. Perhaps the creature would now gorge itself, and it's particular feeding pattern would be crucial in learning to control it.

--------------------------

In the constant darkness of Nocturnus, Kihaku dwelt. Getting used to her new body. Recovering from the damage Nathan had dealt to her. Returning to full strength, so she could once more emerge. Right now she was wounded, forced to retreat from the main stage. But when the time came, Cosmos would gather the Omegans again. When the time came, she'd have to be strong enough to follow him. To fight off those who would attempt to stop them. Just a couple of times more, a few more seals. And then she'd get to see everything burn. The good along with the bad. And the worst, too.

---------------------------

Void moved from place to place. Her state of rest was a state of perpetual motion. Anchoring herself to a reality, remaining in place for more than half a second, was an effort. She was most at home in that short instant of transportation, the void between realities as she crossed from one to another. It had been this preference, this strange quirk of hers that had gained her her nickname. No matter what, she would follow Cosmos to the end. The moment he called on her, she would be by his side. Even if that meant breaking this feeble body of hers to pieces.
@Angel

See? Glad to have you back again ^^
"tracking any white holes and closing them as he found them by creating a black hole inside of each one he finds ,neutrilizing the white and black holes"

Umm..... wut?

First off, Teo, you do not get to create black holes. That's the equivalent of creating a new star. Second off, the White Holes are not somehow the opposite of black holes, they do not neutralize on another. A black hole is a neutron star, an object with enough gravity to trap light itself. A White Hole, a fictional object of my creation, is a rift in time and space itself. Beyond being just a portal to another dimension, it's a hole in existence. A symptom of something (presumably Omega) attempting to destroy existence itself. It also seems to be related to the Omegans releasing the Seals of Omega, as these holes mainly show up when the Omegans are around.

If you want to try and close the White Holes, it's certainly possible. But it would be quite hard to do, as you'd have to somehow patch up the fabric of reality. Nobody's figured out how to fix them yet, and the only person who seemed to have substantial knowledge on this subject (Genocide) is dead.
@Remipa Awesome
I could have some Purge agents try and get involved with the nuclear launch, potentially have Mathew Stone show up. Haven't used him in ages.
@Angel
Well, I could write you into the story. You could enter the classic route of sitting in Bob's Coffee Lounge, or you could mess with Tiny's Sergal race. I had a bunch of White Holes open, which are holes in space and time. So you could have your chars pop out of there pretty much randomly, and have them react to suddenly being somewhere completely different. There's a bunch of ways you could enter this.
"Firepower, huh? Yeah, I can do that. Then ima go take a patrol of the Glade. I'll leave the paperwork to you." With heavy steps, the one-man tank marched in teh direction of the firing range. Most doors weren't constructed for his bulk, but he really didn't mind. He simply raised a foot, and made his own door. It was fairly obvious that if this had been the second floor, Micheal would likely would have sunk through the floor like it had been wet tissue paper.

The firing range currently accommodated several of Helios' elite troops. Specialists in their particular fields, each armed with high-tech weaponry of one variant or another. As Micheal took his place however, he knew he'd draw some looks. His weaponry and armour was a step above most, the newest of the new.

First, he chose to demonstrate perhaps his most impressive weapon. The Magnetic Pulse Generator, or the Power Glove as he liked to call it. The Gauntlet was equipped with a series of powerful electromagnets that could be rearranged to form a variety of patterns. They functioned as a kind of railgun, rapidly accelerating any metal thrown object to supersonic speeds. It could further be used as a shield that deflected incoming bullets, and a piston allowed it to fire part of the gauntlet forward. Thus punches with his right hand could hold the power to crush even heavy tank armour, as it was briefly accelerated to nearly supersonic speeds.

A large block attached to his right shoulder ejected what appeared to be a tank shell. He caught it, and extended his hand towards the target range. An automatic targetting system wtihin his helmet allowed him to aim with impeccable accuracy. As the electromagnets fired, the shell launched with a short bang. It exploded upon contact, annihilating not only the target, but the wall behind it, and anything else within 3 meters of it. Shrapnel tore through bricks like butter, as the tungsten high-penetration tip continued through the back of the facility. It was a good thing the target range pointed out towards a forest, because that tip was intended as an anti-tank weapon.

His other weaponry would have to wait. Micheal felt he'd left the impression he needed to leave. Equipping himself with his modified Heavy Flame Thrower and a secondary shoulder-mounted fuel canister, he left the facility. He'd been stuck in a lab for two years now, moving through training simulations, fighting captured foes, practising combat in a variety of martial arts. And all the time he'd hungered for some action, to personally bring the light of civilisation to the savage mutants. And he had the intention to do just that, as he set out to find the rebel base. If he did, he would singlehandedly bring it crashing down, or at least so he believed.
