Kiyoki simply smiled, knowing that these fools were but putty in his hands. Had he wished to, he could kill them all. But it was far more efficient to turn them to useful tools for the cause. This beast was too large to be slain by strength, and cunning would have to be the tool of it's destruction. Good thing cunning was Kiyoki's field of practise. "Angel, you will place my wards in the air around the creature, and you will imbue them with your power. The charms were designed to amplify the influence of Iomedea in this realm, effectively allowing her to temporarily tap into the Emperor's Worship." He in no way explained how he knew what deity Eclipse served, nor how he knew enough about her influence to be able to manipulate it such. He simply handed him a thick wad of inscribed paper charms, and Eclipse could feel the magic woven into them. However, Eclipse had reached a fairly important conclusion. He had found the manipulating influence in this place, and he realized that the man in front of him stood at the centre of all the events of this world. That this singular figure might be the most dangerous man in this entire realm.

"Albert, Blargh, you will work to gather and distribute the various barrels of sake that have been moved to pre-arranged sites throughout the city. You will gather these barrels in a sight of the coast, where the wards Eclipse is currently placing will hide them." If Eclipse had chosen to stick around to ask some form of question, Kiyoki would at this point give him a meaningful glance. The message was clear: the longer he stayed the more casualties there would be. "I would recommend you attempt to imbue these casks with Shadow Magic. Whilst not objectively evil, it's close enough to do the trick. As the sake is liquid, I'm sure it will act as an excellent temporary receptacle for your powers." He briefly glances at Albert. "And do try not to freeze the stuff."

Of course, Kiyoki was well aware that Blargh was not motivated by morality. The creature was a Murloc, after all. As such, he simply sent the Murloc the mental suggestion of his actions being rewarded with large amounts of gold. Gold and food seemed to be the only things capable of motivating Murlocs, together with their strange religions. Of course Blargh was still fully free not to participate, his actions were not a necessary part of the plan. They would simply further improve upon it.

The Herald seemed to shrug. His terms had been set, his offer had been rejected. Whether his message was misunderstood, rejected or ignored was irrelevant to him. He was facing a warrior, and he could feel the rush of battle filling him. All that mattered was the dance of death that was about to unfold, the clashing of steel and blood. And the Herald knew already that he was unbeatable. This would be a challenge, one more in a series of events to test himself against every obstacle he came across.

When he shot forward, it was like steel lightning. Stone cracked underneath his feet as he launches himself forward, a blurring figure of death. His fist shot forward, and Ham was barely able to raise his shield in able to catch it. The Herald let him. The flat of his palm struck the shield, and the shock seemed to reverberate through the structure. The wood of the steel shattered instantly, the metal bent and warped, Ham could feel his arm twisting and shaking. Had he been a human the arm would have shattered in a hundred places, simply from the force of impact. Even as it were his shield was transformed into a warped piece of useless metal, and he knew that something similar would happen if one of these devastating punches were to hit his head.

With the same speed as before the Herald grabbed a hold of the metal around Ham's arm, turning and pulling to force him off balance. It was possible for him to counterattack, but from this position he'd never land a good hit. And the Herald's own body was also turning, as he pulled back his right leg. He seemed to be aiming a kick at Ham's chest area, as if planning on ending this in a single devastating kick, to crush his ribcage and pulverize his organs. It was clear that if the force of his punch could rend metal, the force of his kicks would be almost instantly lethal.

@Lady Athena
Indeed. Valentus assumed she was a human.

Grenades flowed around the Terminator, his Iron Halo deflecting the attacks. The explosions beside him weren't nearly close enough to cause any real damage, failing even to scratch the paint on his armour. Another person might have taken a moment to question how the paint on Space Marine armour is so sturdy, but Valentus was completely devoted to this attack. He had to eliminate what he perceived to be the greatest threat, his arcane senses having told him something of the immense power Lina was capable of unleashing. A volley of explosives rained down around him, but once more his defences proved more than enough to endure the attack. The terminator was momentarily confused, however, as the rain of explosives was exchanged for the more standard variation. He could clearly sense that this was the result of the spell, and yet it seemed useless to him. His deflection field caused the rain to flow around him, but he could tell that it wasn't acidic, and a poisonous rain would have been useless against him.

His questions were cut short, however, when the mutant pulled out what appeared to be a missile launcher, firing a guided missile in his direction. Even if it had been unguided, the bulk of the Terminator Armour and the relatively short range made it impossible to dodge. And yet this missile looked like it might be able to deal damage to his armour. It would certainly pierce the field formed by the Iron Halo. He quickly calculated it's course in the second it took for the explosive to reach him. Then he acted. Even as it came close enough to form a threat he swung with his Daemonhammer, the weapon crushing the missile from the side. Anything other than a direct hit was useless against Terminator Armour, and the Daemonhammer itself was nigh-indestructible due to it's nature.

However, this meant the mutant possessed weapons capable of harming his armour. He severely doubted the missile would have caused major damage, but any weakening of his armour might make further attacks more effective. After he had dealt with the mage he would need to eliminate the mutant quickly, although it's apparent teleportating ability made it quite likely it would escape.

Raising the hand with his Storm Bolter, the Palading unleashed a volley of rounds at the pair, even as he closed the distance. The explosive rounds destroyed anything they touched, ripping large holes in the ground where they hit, leaving little steaming craters. But he was careful not to fire at the apparent human who had approached the scene. Whilst he was not sure where the human's loyalties lay, he could sense no power from her. This made it unlikely that she was corrupted by the Warp.

The Herald spends a moment longer looking King over. Then, it's like he decides the diminutive foe isn't worth the effort, and he jump down from the walls. He lands with surprising grace, as the force of impact shatters the tiles beneath his feet. He then stands without much effort, as if the fall had been a short one. He knew that the other Dragon Guard would be too busy dealing with Yamato no Orochi to pay much attention to the newly arrived warrior, but his shouting clearly marked him as a threat to the emperor. The Herald sprinted across the muddy shore, before arriving at Ham's location.

Ham would find himself faced by the strange samurai, whom he might recognize as a member of the Dragon Guard. The samurai looked over his opponent, his helmet moving slightly. Then, as if coming to a conclusion, he raised three fingers in the air. Of course, Ham would have no idea what this signal meant, but his understanding was hardly necessary. The terms were set. The Herald raised a hand and made a beckoning motion, even as he moved into a generic martial arts stance, not dedicated to any particular style. Once more he refused to draw the two katana on his back, for some unknown reason.
@Wraithblade6
When I said "Holding hands in a chain" I didn't mean they were literally chained up, I meant they were holding hands in a long line, a shape resembling a chain. A chain of people, if you will.

However, I do understand the confusion. I should probably have worded that better.

Could you do one more edit, please?
@Wraithblade6
Well, you clearly didn't have a clue what you were writing.

Now edit, so we can get the story moving.
@Wraithblade6
You forgot to edit your post. There are no chained prisoners. You also address someone called 'Herald' for some unknown reason, which I can only assume refers to the Herald of War. However, he's nowhere near you, and has nothing to do with your current situation.
