Sounds good to me as well :)

Having one time that everyone would be online would definitely be my preferred solution, but I'm just going to leave some brainstorming here in case everyone can't be online at the same time - I was still typing when @Leos Klien and @Thundercrash posted :P

I raise a question. Lets say we go with your mini-post idea. Why not just do the entire roleplay in some place like Titanpad or Google doc? It'd be easier than having to refresh a forum site over and over and over, waiting to see what somebody else does. And with a live chat, we could then actually talk to one another and share what sort of situations we want to create.
Sounds good to me.
@Ardent Dawn Hmm. It's going to be pretty hard for me, since I'm seven hours behind you. I literally just got out of bed, and this is almost what I consider to be an early morning for me. I also have classes that I have to go to most of the week, so here's what I can do.

I cannot be expected to be awake before 2 - 3pm GMT. Mondays and Wednesdays I will be available after 6pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays I'm good until 10:30pm. Fridays and weekends are completely open within reasonable times. Unless I have specifically stated otherwise, then I will be available within those times.
Rebeca swallowed hard as she followed the others into the restaurant. The surroundings were far more elaborate than anything she was used to. Normally she found herself camped out in the open air, here everything was dolled up, dressed up and neatly put into place. Even amongst the other people she felt out of place. Where they were dressed to the nines in fancy looking suits and dresses (though Kaze did look rather funny in a suit that was clearly too small for him), all she had on was an old grey t-shirt, pair of shorts and hiking boots that were practically falling apart.

Out of everyone there, the pink girl stood out and apart from them. Seras, she said her name was. It was obvious that she had put a great deal of time into her appearance for the night, which might have explained her short patience with the Wells guy. The elaborate braid hanging down her back probably would have taken hours to make, given its length.

Awkwardly tucking her own hair behind her ears, Rebeca tried to remember the last time she had actually washed it, not just dunked in a river or stepped under a waterfall. Probably too long ago, she decided as she sat down across from Seras.

Mihkail hunkered down behind her chair, closing his eyes again. If it’s any consolation, you don’t smell too bad.

Thank you, I feel so much more comfortable now, was the dry response. She just hoped they didn’t mind her looking like she had just crawled out of a dumpster.
Okay. Cool.
I actually have a question regarding the communication bit. It's established that an avatar can telepathically communicate with any Pokemon with whom they share at least one type. How easily does this communication take place? For example, lets say that David's Tirtouga makes a casual comment to him. Could Kaze and Seras "overhear" that comment, since they share Tirtouga's Water and Rock typing respectively, or would Tirtouga have to specifically choose to "send" them a message?
Looks like I missed everyone in the group doc. Sorry, was watching The Martian.
So, funny thing has happened.

Apparently, some of the staff at Rooster Teeth were informed by fans that they really enjoyed watching RWBY with their kids, considering it to be the company's first "family friendly" show. Rooster Teeth responded by releasing an blog post saying that they were really flattered, but people should really watch the show BEFORE sharing it with their children.

And now we have learned why. RWBY is very much not family friendly.
@Vulkan I'm good as well.
@Ardent Dawn And he gets his signature move and Hurricane. Sometimes life just isn't fair :) Ah well, we make do with what we can get.
