Is there a town or anything like that near the institute or is it secluded from society?

It's relatively secluded. It's not in completely uncharted territory or anything, but you'd have to travel at least an hour in order to reach regular human society
@Yuuta

Also, he did the thing. HE DID THE THING!
ASA
Asa turned her attention to the girl next to her, and then stared for a second as she saw the flag being held in the student's hand. Asa only remembered taking her eyes off of the flag for a couple seconds, was she misremembering or did this girl really manage to take the flag that fast? Asa stood there in bewilderment for a second before finally responding. "Oh...uhh, well...really good job" Asa finally said before taking the flag out of the student's hand

HANA

As Asa took the flag out of Hana's hand, Hana was about to walk away when she unfortunately noticed another student walking up to her, clearly intending to talk to her. As the boy introduced himself in a rather forceful way and complemented her on her performance in the game, Hana felt the all-to-familiar stomach churning sensation more intensely than before and struggled for something to say in response. "I...umm...it was...well..." was all Hana could manage to force out, before finally giving up and just decided to tell him her name. "...Hana Kakusareta..."

@Yuuta
Just in case anyone is unclear about anything, the CTF game is over now, and everyone is free to have their characters interact with each other in whatever way you want now. If you wanted to do something with another character, now would be the time to do it

Speaking of which, it just occurred to me: @BrobyDDark, this would probably be the best time to introduce your character
HANA

During the entire game, Hana had been waiting patiently the whole time, quietly watching all the players making their moves and attempts to get the flag and making sure none of them took the flag from her. Luckily for her, none one of the other team ended up making it even close to the flag. Not only lucky because it made guarding the flag easy, but also because she was very self conscious about performing her powers in front of others

Once Asa stepped onto the arena and made the announcement that the game had been cancelled, Hana made her way towards the teacher and lightly tapped on her arm to get her attention. "I'm sorry, but I...um...don't think a cancellation will be necessary..." Hana said as she brought the flag out from behind her back and showed it to the teacher. She was intending to simply show the flag to Asa, but since she was standing next to Asa who everyone was paying attention to, everyone else would naturally see as well

During the time when Hana was watching the event with Brock unfold, she had ample time to realize that more and more of the enemy team had been starting to focus more on Brock and less on the flag. That single moment when the flag guarder stepped away from the flag was all she needed, and had immediately rushed towards the flag. Due to everyone being distracted nor expecting her to ever take the flag in the first place as well as Hana's speed and quiet nature, it was the perfect moment for Hana to jump in and take the flag without anyone even noticing her
Nah I'm open to it, if I wasn't I'd tell you. And you know I would. There's still time to change it I feel, since busy weekend and all. Get your character to do her cool thing, have her surprise Asa by complaining she won the game and should get a prize or something.

Hm, well in that case I guess I'll do it then

Ey, still busy today (UFC event started like 3 hours ago, still about 3 hours to go and then it's japanese MMA) but I just want to thank you for listening and going about the whole thing differently even after I said I'd be okay with you having Hana take the flag. I know I can be a pain in the ass, and I want you to know I really was okay with Hana doing her thing, but that you didn't is much appreciated in regards to keeping things straight on character abilities. I sent my last post at like 3am and after a work thing so that's why it came across as grumpy.

I've gotta be honest here, I decided not to do it because I thought your post was sarcastic and you didn't really mean it, lol
@tipssyCalibrator So does your last post mark a timeskip, or are we still waiting for something before moving on?

Nope, everything will play out without skipping until after mentors have been chosen
ASA

Asa had been watching the whole game quietly the whole time and had figured now, after one of the kids got hit in the crotch and knocked unconscious, would be the best time to stop the match. She stepped into the arena to get all the students' attention. "Alright everyone, considering what's happened to Brock here, it looks like it's time to call the match off. You won't have to redo this, your mentors will still be chosen tomorrow" Asa explained to everyone
Right, I'm busy because I'm getting paid to write about a sports event going down atm but here you go: I don't want to be a pain in the ass and I'd be fine with Hana taking the flag but my character has already been the gag guy and done nothing else for basically every post. By my choice, of course, not complaining, but here's the thing:

Zeke's power should, as written, allow him to on some level catch Hana who'd basically be showing up out of literally nowhere as a plot device. I would very much prefer for my character's explicit superpowers to not be completely trivialized in a situation where they can and should work. Understand where I'm coming from?

You know, Asa could very well just end the game. Just gotta take a look at like, the one guy that got nutshotted and the one girl trying to brain him and that a teacher already interrupted over that and that a guy just got stabbed which could've been extremely bad had it not just happened to be a regenerator. There's a few reasons why a teacher might decide this is a bust.

I've actually been considering the idea of just simply cancelling the match for a while now, but the way I thought of it was that it would be very boring and unsatisfying if the game just cancelled halfway. Not to say that it would be perfectly satisfying with Hana capturing the flag of course, but it would at least be moreso than a simple cancellation. Having the game properly end on a silly joke at least has more of a sense of closure than boringly cutting the match and having no real conclusion at all

As for the power representation, I'm sympathetic to that worry. However, I feel like that shouldn't be much of an issue as long as everyone knows that it's just a silly joke and not a 100% accurate representation of your character's powers (which should be the case, especially since we're having this conversation in the OOC right now). I'd also technically be misrepresenting Hana's powers as well, considering she's not really THAT fast

Alternatively, would it be at all possible that she could've taken the flag when he wasn't near it and wouldn't have been able to catch her with his powers (and just didn't look at the flag when he went back cause he naturally just assumed it was there)? This is very unlikely, but I figured I'd at least suggest it

(I'm still willing to cancel the match as well if you're really that adamant about it, I'd just really prefer to end it the way I want if I can help it)
