I think we shouldn't skip to each event too quickly. I'm honestly keen on doing some school or interacting scenes before we get to more events. I've been in roleplays that skip alot of in-between moments to get to
main events, and I've found that gives little room for character development. Not saying we should roleplay the full month before the next exam, but I really do think timeskipping too fast will make interactions and the like hard to accomplish

We've decided to just simply end the CTF game early and give a bit of extra time afterwards for characters to meet up and interact with their mentors before doing the timeskip

I'll make the post once I get a response from Zero Hex about the question I asked him about CTF (alternatively, I might post anyway if it takes too long)

Well he just got up and went to stand right next to it again. I mean if anyone wants to do something with Zeke in that situation I'm open to it, but it feels like the right time to have someone end the CTF, have a cooldown period, do interactions and whatnot and then move on to next event when it doesn't feel like we're rushing into it.

Would you be alright with the idea of Hana having taken the flag? I realize it might slightly bend the logic of the scene a small amount, but it's kinda meant to be a silly joke anyway and I feel like it would be the way to end the game in the shortest amount of posts
Everyone: *focusing on Brock*

Hana: Umm...I have the flag

No, just resolve the CTF (cancellation or somebody winning) in the next post, then the next item on the first day's itinery is mentors and students picking each other, then we can timeskip.

There isn't really a rush to start the Hunger Games bit as soon as possible, and trust me, this is NOT what an rp that's slowed to a crawl looks like. If nobody posted in a week, then I'd start worrying about that.

Alright, that sounds fairly reasonable

Heh, as a way of settling the game maybe someone could have stolen the flag while everyone was distracted and focused on Brock's injury (I mean the game is still technically going after all, no one called a time out or anything). I feel Hana would make the most sense (and would also be the funniest), considering she's fast and she would prefer to take action when no one's watching her (though I'm worried that might come off as making her look a bit OP)
@tipssyCalibrator I'm up for that -- mostly. Still feel like we should do a day or two of downtime to pick mentors and such before skipping to the day before the event. We can do some PMing between eachother to see where character relations stand after that if need be.

So we should do two timeskips then? That might solve the problem, though it also might be a little weird and confusing
@tipssyCalibrator

That's fine with me, yeah. How much can you say we're allowed to have grown?

I'm not going to have any of Mina's powers unlocked during a timeskip, but she might unlock one of them during the games themselves.

Well I did plan for the exam to be a month after the CTF game, so whatever you think is logical for her

I'm honestly just really lost as to what to do right now again.

(Meant to quote this before)

This will probably be a good thing for you then, since we're essentially putting the CTF game behind us and starting over with a new event

@tipssyCalibrator I thought we were just skipping to the end of CTF. If we go to the next event would we be skipping stuff like new students meeting their mentors?

This is a good point. I'm sure everyone will want to meet their mentors before the timeskip. Hmmm...
Just so everyone is on the same page here: the idea is that, because of the lack of activity, we will be time skipping to shortly before the next school event (which will be the hunger games survival thing, BTW). It will be announced to all the students in universe beforehand so the characters can take some time to prepare themselves, and then it'll probably start pretty soon after that. Is everyone alright with that idea?

Skipping to the end of the game and to first classes would give a chance for less aggressive interactions, I think. Could give it a few days before moving on to the next event -- I feel that would be somewhat less awkward than just saying "stuff happened and now it's several days later"

This is exactly what I meant, yeah. On the one hand, I feel like it would be really awkward and sudden if we just skipped to the next event (especially since I planned for it to be at least an in universe month after the CTF game). However, due to the lack of activity right now, I feel like just having the players interact with each other by themselves might not be a viable option right now

EDIT: Oh wow I read that post wrong. Give me a break, I just woke up :S. But that does actually sound like a good idea
Honestly, I was kind of considering that myself

Does everyone want to skip right to the next event, or just skip to the end of the game?

Somewhere between this, this, and this?
