It would be neat if all Xenomorph players were able to control an entire Hive. They would start as a Facehugger, find a suitable host, implant a Queen, burst, find a suitable nest, begin laying eggs, hatch more facehuggers, find more hosts, and slowly build up their swarm repeating this process. They would control and manage each individual Xenomorph.

Predators on the other hand could be part of the same clan, here to do whatever they need to do (hunt, clean-up, what have you). Or to make things interesting, they're from separate clans - here to hunt each other, or to compete against one another.

In PvP the Predators would attempt to control battles against the Xenomorphs. Xenomorphs would need to rely on stealth and surprise to overcome the Predators. In all cases, the Predators would probably have the upperhand due to their tech, but the Xeno characters have the advantage of multiple 'lives' - if one of their Xeno's die they still have their queen and the other drones.

I've always seen AVP as being one of those "quantity VS quality" scenarios, where Predators value quality and the Xenos value quantity. Also, not all Xeno's are drones and queens. I think Grid from the first AVP movie was some sort of advanced Xeno. Not sure what they're called, but the Queen gives them a bit more freedom so they're smarter; as an example, Grid was able to use cover to defend himself against Scar's plasma-caster, whereas the other Aliens couldn't process such an action and didn't take cover and were effectively killed.

If this was a future AVP roleplay, I wonder if a Bounty Hunter Hish would work. He doesn't care much for his clan nor his species, he works for whoever he needs to work for to acquire a massive amount of credits.
Factions
Strattix Corporation - The most technologically-advanced faction, and perhaps the richest. They are led by the elusive and mysterious Mr. Strattix. Their weapons are usually priced very high, affordable only by the wealthy. Strattix, however, has a very small selection of weapons. There profits come from the armor and gadgets they sell. They have efficient and well-made Power Armor, as well as expertly-crafted gadgets.

MegaFix Arms and Armor

Forms of Defense
Power Armor - First developed by Strattix Corporation, but later adopted by other manufacturers, Power Armor is unique in that it provides regenerative shields. If the user takes to much damage they can take cover, wait for the shields to regenerate, and continue fighting as if they were never shot at. Shields, however, cannot last nearly as long as normal Armor can, and once they're down the Power Armor itself can be greatly damaged, sometimes disabling the shields.

History:
Alright I got it, so I'm going to drop this off here for future reference on my part.

1. John's family is killed, so he resorts to a life of bounty hunting, outlawing, and becomes a drifter. Three years pass. During these years he has worked both for and against Butcher Bill.
2. Butcher Bill kills Lillie's family, so she is taken into foster care. She soon escapes foster care.
3. John is captured by the government, but his crimes will be forgiven if he manages to track down Lillie and bring her back alive. This isn't John's typical bounty target, but he is forced to comply.
4. John manages to find Lillie after a brief struggle and prepares to take her back to the government. He soon changes his path and agrees to help Lillie track down Butcher Bill and avenge her family.

Lillie has information regarding Butcher Bill that the government wants, which is why they are so desperate to retrieve her. They use John because they know they an bribe him into finding her. John, however, sees a part of himself in her (wanting to avenge the death of loved ones) and also sees his daughter inside of her, so he agrees to help her track down Bill (using the information she possesses). When word that John and Lillie are traveling in the opposite direction reaches the government officials they quickly brand him a traitor and kidnapper and his bounty is raised to staggering amounts.
The very first place John decided to check out rumors was not the saloon, but rather the unfinished church. It wasn't to far from completion, and only had a few more hours of work done to the outside before the inside could be worked on. The reverend, or who John assumed was the reverend, stood outside gazing upon the structure. John walked up beside the man and shared the view. That's when the reverend turned to notice John. "Oh, hello there my good sir, how have you been this fine day?"

"Good, I reckon," John replied, still looking at the church.

"Are you to receive a blessing, or seek advice?"

"No," John shook his head and smiled. He was never a religious man and found the idea amusing. He turned his attention over to the man. He was of average height, maybe 5'5, with a slim build and short, neat brown hair. He had a friendly demeanor on his face, but the wrinkles on his forehead showed he was clearly stressed. "I'm looking for... information, and I figure you would know the folks 'round here and so maybe you have what I'm lookin' for?"

The reverend held out his hand, holding his Bible in the other hand. "My name is Reverend David Milton, but you may call me Reverend if you'd like." John shook the man's hand and was about to speak again until the Reverend spoke up. "Just tell me what it is you're after and I can hopefully tell you where you need to be. If I can't, then I will pray so that He may guide your path."

"Yeah, Reverend. I ain't much of a religious person... anyway, I'm looking for a man named Bill, Bill Sharp. He's most commonly known by Butcher Bill though. Heard he was 'round these parts and here I am, come to serve him some justice."

"Oh yes," said the Reverend, ever so eagerly, "I have heard of the man. I only just arrived two days ago, but I heard he raided some folk not three days ago. a bit of luck on my part, is it not? But no, I don't know much. You could try the saloon across the way, maybe someone in there would know."

John laughed a bit again, "Yeah, I was hopin' to avoid the saloon. All manner of folks in there I'd rather not run into." John sighed and took a last look at the church. "Well... thanks anyway, Reverend. Good meetin' you." The Reverend said his goodbyes and John turned around to face the saloon. "Oh, brother..."

The one thing John hated about saloons was the possibility that a bounty hunter or lawman was inside waiting to spring an ambush to capture him. He had several outstanding warrants anyway, and was wanted in more than a few counties. He had managed to evade capture for a while, but his luck had to run out sooner or later. Fortunately, no one jumped up in an uproar when he walked in and everyone carried out their daily ramblings.

John walked over to the bar. He'd order a drink or two then question the barkeep to see what he may know. Unfortunately, someone else was already talking to him so John took a neat beside the man. Out of sheer coincidence the man began to ask questions that John needed to know. John overhead the man's name: Jeremiah Lexington. He seemed to be more interested in mining gold, but he was concerned about the possibility of Bill's gang attacking the site. The barkeep then warned Jeremiah of the potential dangers of such a place, but the man appeared unnerved.

"Some whiskey, please," John said when the two men finished speaking. Jeremiah began sipping from his drink and so John took the opportunity to question him. "Hey there, friend," John began, "name's... er... Jack." John was careful not to reveal his actual name, lest this man was familiar with his potential bounties. "I couldn't help but overhear your conversation with the barkeep. Jeremiah, is it?" The barkeep placed a shot of whiskey on the counter in front of John, so he took it and gulped it down in one go. "I ain't to... knowledgeable in the layout of Wissleon County, but I've had a few encounters with ol' Bill before. I'd be more than happy to accompany you on this... endeavor. If you're interested, that is."
Sorry guys.

got a new PC, been ignoring everything trying to get everything set up. I have tons of GB's worth of data to copy over and I have been trying to download everything I had before. It should not have taken as long as it should have, but I have also been busy.

I'm working on getting a job and I ought to start Monday.

This isn't dead. I've just been busy,.
Colonies
The New World

Goal
The goal of the game is to construct and maintain a functioning colony in the New World. You will begin with 1 ship, a small group of pioneers, and a small amount of supplies. Your pioneers will use the supplies to construct the basic buildings every colony needs. Over time more pioneers will arrive, newer buildings will be constructed, and the colony will grow into a settlement, and then into a town, and finally into a city. You can fight, trade, and negotiate with other players as well.

Buildings
Warehouse - Warehouses are like harbors. Ships will unload cargo and pioneers here. It is the gateway into your settlement.
House - A house is constructed by pioneers to live in.
Town Center - Town centers are important parts of a colony. They act as the governmental center of the colony and it is where resources are stored.
Market - Markets are where pioneers can sell their goods, and you can tax them for it.
Church - Churchs are important because they provide faith.

Thanks for the ideas Axleonex. I did write some of them down. I've actually got about 6-7 Wordpad documents about the thing. I can lay down at night and watch them in my head.

On another website I was interested in someone's idea that John and Lillie are related somehow. Whether she's a distant niece or something. Somehow, she falls into John's custody, and that's how they meet, but I don't know if that would work. What if Lillie was a runaway foster child? Her parents were killed by Bill, she hates being a foster child (weren't foster homes pretty common back then?), and she runs across John. Maybe she got into some trouble with a group of undesirables and she is rescued by John. What if John was her last known relative, she learnt that from the government when they tried to find her next custodial guardian, but they refused to send her to him since he was an outlaw? So she instead runs away from foster care to find him, is rescued by John, and voila! John is then charged with kidnapping, just another crime added onto his extensive list.

I really like the idea that John and Bill are both captured by a bounty hunter, thanks for sparking that idea in my head. Even though they hate each, and even though John has been on a warpath to kill him, they are forced to work together. This would really piss Lillie off, cause she's not old enough to understand that it's the best thing for their situation. I like that. The bounty hunter is after John to collect his bounty, then get paid by his employers for rescuing the 'kidnapped' Lillie, and he's more than eager to accept the bounty on Bill as well...

Okay, this is really starting to come together now!
@Axleonex: I've seen thos epics in your crossover and I think they look really cool. It's nice to see some Fett thrown into the mix.

And thanks for the feedback, I'll incorporate some of them if I can. Not sure if I like the idea of Bill being a formal war officer though. But I do like the fact that he's almost ten years older than they are. It makes me consider a 'father-son' relationship that Bill and John once shared. Perhaps Bill does something that wrongs John, but John is unable to kill this 'father-figure' and flees instead. Enter Lillie, and John vows to help her take her revenge against Bill.

I was thinking that maybe John kidnaps Lillie for some reason. Do you watch Game of Thrones? If not, stop reading cause there's spoilers ahead. I don't want to rip it off, but The Hound sort of kidnaps Arya Stark; she doesn't mind it though. I was thinking that maybe John kidnaps Lillie, but Lillie doesn't care because she hates the way she lives anyway (abusive parents? Hateful foster home?). Throughout the course of the story the two develop that father-daughter relationship they both sorely need.

I keep imagining these scenes in my head. In one scene, John is working with Bill partway through the story, and I really like that, but I ain't sure how to handle it; it just won't fit. The other scene has an upset Lillie begging John to help her, so John just puts his hand on her shoulder and reassures her: "Okay, girl... I'll help you get what you want..."
@Voltus: Howard is accepted. An unsuspecting occupation I must say, but looking forward to him. I expect he'll be busy in Yornley.
