History: Koros Jarn is a descendant of the first Northern King. Koros father served as Northern King when the Aurrians maintained their grip on the south. When Koros was of age, he participated in several skirmishes against the Aurrians. When his father died, Koros became the Northern King. Koros ruled for ten years before the Aurrian Empire fell. The Aurrians fled north to the Aurrian Wall, and when Koros learned of this he formed a moderately-sized force and attacked them. Koros was instrumental in wiping the Aurrians from the face of the Isle. Now Koros must face the impending invasion of the south, as Edmund Valwick comes to annex his territory.

Clothing/Armor: See above. The armor was passed down to him by the legendary first Southern King.
Weapons: Edmund carries Brightshine, a sword forged by the first Southern King which he used to conquer the entire south. Emdund is extremely skilled with the blade.
History: Edmund's history before he came to the Isle is somewhat clouded. Apparently, the Exiled King was sheltered and cared for by the nation he fled to, and when Edmund came of age he acquired the Exiled King's armor and sword. With these tools, it was no surprise his legitimacy in that nation was recognized. Perhaps that nation loaned him the 10,000 troops. Whatever the case, Edmund sailed north, to the Isle and spent two years reclaiming all of the land the Exiled King had lost. Now he plans on taking back the north, but has come face to face with the Northern King, Koros Jarn. Unfortunately, the foreign nation has requested its troops back, and he has lost his entire force. He now relies on his new found allies.

I know the OOC and Characters tab are pretty damn lackluster, but I had a pretty good one written one but RPG didn't save it. And my idiot self didn't save it beforehand, so I had to write one up really quick.

The Paragon - Each faction has 1 Paragon. A Paragon is an excellent warrior, skilled in warfare, inspires troops, and can turn the tide of any battle. When creating the Paragon's bio, make sure you put this above the name:[color=lightblue][b]Paragon[/b][/color]

Castles and Towns - You get 3 establishments. An establishment can be a castle or a town. For every town you control, you'll receive up to 700 soldiers. A castle only gives you 100 soldiers at the start of the game, but castles are easily defended, can sustain long sieges, and can cost the attacker a lot of troops.
3 Castles: 300 soldiers max
2 Castles, 1 Town: 900 soldiers max
1 Castle, 2 Towns: 1500 soldiers max
3 Towns: 2100 soldiers max

The North VS the South - You'll need to choose who you initially support, but remember you're not required to support this side for the rest of the RP. You can defect to other teams, or make up your own - it's up to you.
Those who fight for the south believe:
-The Isle should be ruled by the rightful King.
-All Kingdoms and Vassals should swear fealty to one King.
-A problem for one Kingdom on the Isle is a problem with all Kingdoms on the Isle. Everyone follows the same rules set by the King and his council.
-In other words, they favor a strong centralized government, ruled by a single King, who makes all the decisions. Mind you, the Southern King is a noble and just man who rules fairly.
Those who fight for the north believe:
-The north is the north and should be ruled by a Northern King, not some Southern King.
-Northern lords and vassals should swear fealty to the Northern King, not the Southern King.
-Northern lords and vassals should be able to make their own laws, follow their own ideals and customs, and not have to abide by the rules and regulations of the other kingdoms.
-In other words, they favor individualism, localized government, the Northern King only intervenes when absolutely necessary. The Northern King is required to keep the peace and allow everyone to operate the way it should.

Armies - You should give me a numerical value, the name or the unit, and a description. The description can include history, use, armor, weapons, and stuff like that.
100 Varan Raiders - Lightly armored warriors who wield shields and axes, capable of forming a shield wall and breaking through enemy defenses.

Premise

In this RP you will assume the role of a king who swears fealty to either the Northern King or the Southern King, and will fight in a war of supremacy. The war takes place on 'the Isle'. At any point your characters can and will die, you may betray your friends, join the other side, or even rebel and make your own side. Everyone is out to make their bid for the throne, but who will be victorious?

Brief Story

The Isle was once divided between two groups. The northern group was rule by a Northern King, while the southern group was ruled by a Southern King. They have forged a legendary and deadly feud since the kings have ruled them. After a thousand years the Northern King was finally forced to swear fealty to the Southern King, which finally united the entire Isle.

Three generations later a man named Victus landed with his red legions on the southern coasts of the Isle. Fighting for the glory of the Aurrian Empire, Victus swiftly conquered the entire south. The Southern King at the time fled to a southern continent, and became known as the Exiled King. Victus' initial forays into the north were successful but costly, and Victus passed away soon after. The Empire decided to focus on its holdings in the south, but constructed the Aurrian Wall to separate themselves from the 'barbarians' of the north. The north united once again under a Northern King, Koros Jarn, descendant of the former Northern Kings.

The Aurrians ruled more than half of the Isle for over fifty years. Now the empire is crumbling, and southern warlords have reclaimed land lost to them long ago. In the past decade. numerous kingdoms sprouted up all around the south, while the remnants of the Aurrian Empire fled north, towards the Aurrian Wall. These Aurrians regrouped and attempted to forge their own kingdom south of the Wall, but were defeated by the Northern King, Koros Jarn.

A young man by the name of Edmund Valwick landed on the southern shores of the Isle just two years ago with a host of 10,000 men. He claims to be the descendant of the Exiled King. Wearing the same armor and wielding the family blade of the Southern Kings, his legitimacy seems apparent. Within two years he manages to unite the southern kingdoms, whether by persuasion or conquest. Now Edmund seeks to invade the north and reclaim the land that was rightfully his, but the northerners do not wish to be led by a Southern King again, and Koros Jarn has rallied his bannermen to meet the large force assembled by Edmund Valwick.

Rules

• I expect you guys to work things out yourselves, but if I need to intervene then my word is law.
• Characters can- and will- die. But don't worry, they'd have to make a costly mistake to die.
• Do not be disrespectful to other players. Do not bunny, do not metagame, do not godmod, and don't be afraid to ask questions.
• The RP will follow a very loose posting order, but I will walk you guys through it via OOC. It won't be complicated, I promise.

Outline the region you wish to control, as well your 3 establishments. An establishment can either be a castle or a town; castles are very hard to attack, but having a town nets you more soldiers at the start of the RP.

The Confederate Flag, and Charleston

When Dylann Roof shot 9 people at an African American church, everyone assumed it was because of the rebel flag. Those same people see that flag flying over a Confederate memorial and start protesting to take it down. Then you have a horde of crazy rednecks getting riled up wanting to keep it up, cause they love that flag.

The debate is whether or not the flag should fly. One says it should not, as it is racist and promotes segregation, while the other side says it represents heritage, a region of the US, and commemorates fallen soldiers.

Unfortunately, the debate has caused a lot of waves in the south. TVLand even took the Dukes of Hazzard TV show off of TV. The General Lee cars are not allowed to have it. Where I live, you're not even allowed to have it on your shirt or your car. If you dare fly it in your yard, someone's going to steal it and the next day you'll see a group of African Americans burning them on Facebook.

Yes, femals are fine.

Will need to change the name of Vixen. Damn... that was the name of a character on Split/Second that I liked. Still have his family names of Verica, Vylo, and Vylen though, but those were his daughter and sonss names.
