As a show of respect, I should inform you (and the rest of the games I’m in/directing) what’s going on in my life. The roommate whom I’ve been living with for the last five or so years had a mental breakdown Sunday Morning that was the result of a psychotic break and alcoholic influence that led him to crash his truck, threaten a guest with a knife, strike with his girlfriend, and blame everyone for his issues. He’s in custody right now (police transferred him to a psych ward) so I have to deal with the fallout as I am the owner of the “shared” household. In short, I have to get eviction papers in order. I hope everyone understands my inconsistent activity revolving around that fact. I will be trying to post as soon as possible regardless.

POSITION: Chief Science Officer

SKILLSET: Kenneth, as his position suggests, is a talented scientist. He's not very good with weapons, but makes up with it with his brilliant mind and outside-the-box thinking that's earned him the position of the Hawking's Chief Science Officer.

PERSONALITY PROFILE: Kenneth is a curious mind, always searching for answers to questions that many consider unanswerable. He's very kind however he has a tendency to become stressed in intense situations, when he is stressed, he becomes very difficult to communicate with and his brilliance begins to fall apart. These intense situations can be being yelled at, being pressured to have something done by a deadline or even combat. Kenneth's weakness is ultimately his kind heart, as it's resulted in him being very against violence and relying on his words to get him out of situations. While he's pretty impressive with weapons since his time at the academy, he tries his best to avoid using them at any cost.

HISTORY: Born on New Terra, Kenneth as a boy always found peace in finding new things and learning how they work. But what always intrigued him as a child was the endless sea of stars in the sky. Throughout his childhood and teenage years, he was the best in his grade when it came to knowledge, primarily science. After his graduation from high school, he proceeded to attend one of, if not the best college for astrophysics. After spending almost seven years studying and acing each sub-subject of astrophysics, Kenneth achieved a Master's Degree in Astrophysics. After this, he chose to take his knowledge to the stars, enlisting in Starfleet. After spending a while at the Academy and graduating, he spent two years teaching at Starfleet Academy for Astrophysics, before recently being assigned to the USS Hawking, finally achieving his dream of being able to study whatever new thing he finds out in the massive sea that is space.

FLAW: As previously stated, Kenneth is easily stressed, too kind and overall a pacifist. His kind nature prevents him from confrontation and relying on weapons. If he becomes too stressed, instead of becoming upset, he "shuts down" more or less. He becomes very difficult to work with and his brilliant mind stops functioning.

@Warborn123 Commander Roger River is going to be our First Officer. It makes sense that a Martian Legion representative would be offered the position, as a sign of good faith in the Alliance. Roger and Thaddeus will also have a good dynamic given that one is a hard edged soldier and the other is an idyllic explorer that resents militarism. Roger being sketpical of the Alliance mission at first makes sense, somebody that violent and militaristic likely wouldn't appreciate the Captain's notion that exploration and discovery can be a means of bridging the divide.

@Gunther We still need somebody at the helm, given Glenn's skillset she's a perfect fit. She'll have to take the rank of LIeutenant since she wouldn't be a ranking bridge officer, but she's welcome abaord. Accepted under those terms.

Sorry, hopefully this is enough. I'm very busy today. I wasn't sure if it's enough but since none of us are too familiar with this universe just yet, I intend to build on his life more as we learn more.
