Okay, so basically, this is a text based game, you have to write logs to record the stuff you have in your army, and you can battle players, once you feel like you are ready.
There are two different army types you can choose from, Hocotatian, and Wildlife.

For all players:
You'll need to give all your information in a basic log, their are templates at the bottom. You'll need to put a small description by each item in your army, for example, red pikmin (Fire resistant). Every day is 4 game days, this means that every six hours is one game day. Your base can be anywhere in pikmin 1, 2, or 3, but you can't have cave bases. If you want, you can make, special weapons, and can be made in clumps of 50 or more, each clump of weapons can be made with 100 resource or more.

Factories take 40 days and 400 resources.

You start with three project slots, but you can get three more by building management centers, these require 30 days, 300 resources, and 60 petals. You can only build one management center at a time.

All players start with 20 days of defense.

You start with a weapons storage, Resource storage, Ammo storage, and barracks.

You must make a description section in the OOC thread, to describe your stuff.

For wildlife armies:
You can have any creature, including pikmin, from the game as soldiers. Your soldiers will be divided into three ranks, Normal, Special, and Elite. Normal troops are weak things like pikmin, sheargrubs, and dwarf bulborbs. Normal troops are pretty weak, and won't have much attack power. Special troops are larger troops, or are more powerful, like careening drigibugs, or full grown bulborbs. Boss troops are elites, and you will have to do a 50+ day project to get one of these. You can start with 50 Normal troops and 5 special troops. You get 10 normal, OR 1 special a day.

Wildlife armies require a leader, though it doesn't have to be in battle, but they don't get officers like hocotatians. Your leader can't be more powerful than a gatling groink.

If your a wildlife army, you'll need money and resources to do projects. You get 10 petals a day, and start with 300. You start with 1000 Iron. A basic building might take 400 units of Iron, While a tank might take 100. If you want to get more money, ou can build Petal gathering centers, and each petal gathering center takes 40 days, 400 resources, and 200 petals to build. Resources can be bought in the store, or harvested in a project, or you can build mines to ge more. You can make up troops if you want.

You can't have as advanced technology as hocotatians.

You can only have 2 factories, and each factory can only be build land, sea, air machines, or defenses. Only one per factory.

I your a wildlife army, once you reach 5000 troops total, you have to build Recruitment centers to ge more troops. Recruitment centers can cover three types of pikmin, and specific families, for example, a orange bulborb RC could recruit dwarf and orange bulborbs.

Troop maxes are 5000 Normal troops and 500 special troops.

For Hocotatian armies
If your a hocotatin army, you can only have pikmin, and your leader will have be a hocotatian astronaut. You get 10 pikmin a day, and start with 55. Your troops maxes are 7500 and you can build mechanical versions of creatures. You have much better tech than wildlife armies. you can have 3 factories. YOu need money and resources just like wildlife armies.

Battles:
When you feel like your ready for a battle, you'll need to post in the OOC thread the troops, warmachines, ETC you are sending. You and the other players take turns writing battle logs, detailing what happened in the battle.

You can have one ally, no peace treaties.

Example Hocotatian log:
Okay! I'll post up the rules!
Okay the rules are ready!
Would anybody be interested in a role playing war game based of of pikmin?
You'll need to make an application in the OOC thread, write your logs in the IC thread, descriptions will also go in the OOC thread. Your application will just resemble your first log.

So, I won't be posting the rules up until i've got at least a few other players, but I wanted to see who would be interested in this game first.

Basically, the idea is is to create a faction, which you develop in real time, and then battle other players.

The story line: It is the year 2332, and Humanity has just faced a terrifying, global disaster. Nuclear war devastated the earth 100 years ago, and now, the ravaged survivors and are setting up a new world. They have salvaged the robotic, computerized warfare that led to the disaster, and are using it again.
