Responsibility belongs not to the name stenciled on the mantel, but to the one who carries the mantle.

Isa have had two encounters with Vlad. Isa has no idea what he intends. Vlad's reaction depends on their actions. After they attacked in the lunch room so he isn't going to trust them out of the facility.

If Isa were considering things rationally; you would have a valid point, but he is not.
Dmitri Pavlovich

@Shikaru@gravity22

Dmitri stormed into the diner, slid a level gaze across the room that few dared meet, and settled on Anya who was sitting with someone. To bad, they had been on a tight schedule before everything hit the fan this afternoon and now they were late, she'd have to finish her dinner date later. He snapped at Anya in a flat, sullen tone, Anya might not realize that he wasn't angry with her since they didn't know each other very well, but that fact never occurred to Dmitri. "Let's go, we're late." Storming back out the door, he saw a kid eyeing his still running wagon, parked illegally in front of the diner. The kid took one look at Dmitri and remembered he was late for something in the opposite direction. Dmitri slid into the driver's seat, and slammed the door, glowering at the road in front of him and drumming his fingers impatiently while he waited for Anya to get in the car.

@Tracyarmav you should use omething you don't have a good understanding of. If receptors are blocked you need to know why, how they can be unblocked. Let's say for example his feeling receptors are blocked except when he thinks of his sisters. That means he wouldnt care how Vad treated the others because it doesn't involve his sisters.

Not directly, but indirectly it affects how long he's going to be stuck here, NOT looking for them. Sooo he would care, and the kind of possessiveness Vlad's been exhibiting would demonstrate that he never intends to let them off the leash, which means Isa'd never get to see his sisters... Does that make sense?

Think of it this way, certain receptors are effectively "permanently" blocked. That's a soft permanent, they will become unblocked, but it will take more time than it should.

And I am not a psychology student, so I'm probably doing this wrong... again/still whatever..
I'll post for Anya in the morning.

I feel like I've heard this before... :P

Not necessarily, what's left of him has less to distract him.

Or rather, is less capable of processing the distractions in time to distract him...

He isn't and I know, I've already said he's broken. In this environment it's hard to show how broken he is.

You can use whatever trigger you want. Everyone will have their own. I only used anger but because right now that is Roxy's trigger. If he is clinically depressed he would have a harder time shifting because he doesn't have the motivation to shift. Even if he thinks of his sisters every time it will take time for the memory to motivate him. Yes shifting time will depress with time and practice. It would go something like an hour, forty five minutes, half hour, fifteen minutes, five minutes. How long this will take will vary from person to person but it would take even the most motivated, focused person atleast a week or more to reduce the time.

I said what "most would call clinical depression" slight difference, there. He's not actually clinically depressed, though he does exhibit several symptoms.
