Responsibility belongs not to the name stenciled on the mantel, but to the one who carries the mantle.

@Ally610 Generally speaking, if the edits don't change how your character functions/interacts with the world, you're free to edit as you please, just let the GM know you changed something so they don't make a plot hook involving one of the edited details. Obviously, what exactly is considered a functional/interaction changing edit varies a little from RP to RP and/or GM to GM.

"Dinner it is then, any preference on location? I'll stop by your place so you clean up properly first, sorry about the mess."

I wait briefly for Anya's response and then close the car door and turn to open one of the huge garage style doors. I glance around casually and don't see anyone or anything amiss. I pull the car outside, stopping long enough to close the warehouse doors behind us, and then head back into town, this time at a much more leisurely pace. Realizing I didn't know exactly where I was going, since I'd planned to drop the ... young woman off before getting dinner with Anya, I glance over at her and ask.

"Where are you staying at Miss?"

"lost" Shallows could get interesting at some point, as well as visits from other Granted, but aside from trying to start WW III, I've no real plans for Bob, he's here to be a sullen boy ready to ruin any good mood he can. ;)
Roberto barely reacted to the new arrival, glancing up at her and then resuming his vigilant stare at the center of the floor. Who are you? ALex will introduce us probably ... The rest of Alex's little spiel went as expected, though Bob hadn't anticipated him fleeing so rapidly to his office afterwards. What was he so afraid of anyway? Not recognizing the new arrival, Bob considered just heading outside to let the girls get acquainted and settled in. Alex never did introduce her... Was he running from her? Nah, she's too scattered to be able to cause any much more than a dull ache, usually between the temples. Still, I'd better be on my way, while I still can.

Bob stood, and shuffled out of the room and then on out the front door, where he paused briefly on the porch steps before starting off on a walk around the grounds of the house, slowly lapping the property as he mulled it all over in his head. Alex was weird, and not in a good way, He didn't seem to hate me like the others but he never stopped glancing my way either. He's either paranoid, or an idiot, being that obvious in his observation. I'm not sure where I want to put my money yet on that one... On the plus side, there didn't seem to be any other guys here yet, and that couldn't be to bad right? Who am I kidding? The guys at least will play it straight, Girls don't seem to know the meaning of the word... So this is hell, and I'm here until "they" say otherwise, great. Well, can't say as I didn't anticipate this, but it'd sure be nice to be wrong, maybe just the once.

The first two gals seemed okay, a little loud, and very awkward, but that was highly preferred over actively hostile, and that greatly above the stubborn dismissal of his very existence. I don't know anything about the new girl though... probably a plant, arrived late and flustered to earn our sympathy and worm her way under our guards so she could parrot our unguarded thoughts and dreams to those with the power and desire to crush them. I'd just have to stick to my usual routine, ignore people until they get over trying to lord everything over me and then have fun retaliating when they no longer thought that was possible.
OMG sorry it so long and sorry its so short. Hopefully its enough to work with i figure we are just driving somewhere now at this point.

That's fine, you're in a bit of an awkward spot right now, sorry about that. And Dmitri is usually more level headed, but it's been a day. Hope you don't mind the IC hostility, it should mellow out soon.

@KatherinWinter

Thank you! It's easier for me as a writer to write Isa searching, if I know what it is he's searching through/in/around.

Vlad made an excellent invalid, I hoped he wouldn't recover to quickly. I flicked an ear at his in response to his question, whether he recognized it as a negative response or not I didn't care. I'm briefly tempted to finish the job I started yesterday, but I doubted things would improve much with Vlad's death, considering how very hush-hush this whole thing seemed to be, at least as far as the public were concerned. Still, he didn't need his legs... bah, all right I'll come back for those latter. I pad on down the hall, continuing my search by moving towards Vlad's office, or trying too.

I wasn't sure I knew where that was, but I had a pretty good idea of where it should be, with the other offices, but not with the labs. So I wander around, taking the time to make mental notes of Points of Interest, like large intersections, doors that sealed, other habitat rooms, stairs and elevators, etc. I move systematically through the halls, trying to get a god feel for the layout of the facility as well as be sure I've looked everywhere I can. I can smell Roxy everywhere now, and would have chuckled if I were in human form. It was a typical ruse to cover one's tracks by leaving to many trails to follow, or just walking over someone else's prints, leaving little trace of your own passage. It seems they've applied a similar method to masking her scent. Still, it wasn't perfect, Luci would probably be able to get a pretty good read of the trail if he shifted completely.

Speak of the devil, I stop at the sound of woofing nearby, and judge that Luci isn't far. Still, I doubted they used only the one ploy in masking her scent, and decided not to trust Luci to find her by scent alone, though he'd need the practice in finding a fresh trail so I didn't see the point in trying to discourage him either. I looked around, consciously noting for the first time that she wasn't with me. Well that was brilliant... Oh well, focus on the task at hand. I continue my methodical search of the compound, not quite snarling if I should happen to pass Luci in one of the halls.

@KatherinWinter Negative, you didn't move it to this thread. It's still on the old one though if I recall right, but I'm to lazy to hunt that link down in all our OoC chatter. And they might not know the entire facility, but they would know some of it especially parts they'd been to before. If you don't/can't edit it to add your own labels as we go through the place, I might be able too. Things, like the Gymnasium, Caffeteria, and Infirmary should be labeled as well as any habitat rooms we've been too already. Also we'd all be pretty familiar with our individual rooms/cells.
That's fine, I'm used to holiday voids, :) just don't forget to come back!
