One night when she was caught in the more affluent part of New Hong Kong, she was shot at. Much of the damage was nerves but a local doctor was able to patch her arm up the best he could. In time, she would view her damaged arm as a silver badge of courage.
That said, Hisano was never the type to mouth off nor the type to lie, as she considers it a waste of energy and time. Even as a child, she had no real issues with authority and instead drifted through life, trying to get by. After she lost most of her left arm, she decided to be more careful. She helped provide for her parents as best she could. When she reached the age of 22, she decided to get an upgrade for her arm, ensuring it was bulletproof and fireproof. District 9 was getting a lot more shady as wealth was being drained from the struggling areas of New Hong Kong.
With a need to protect herself, Hisano purchased a gun but hoped she'd never have to use it. While District 9 was on the decline, the people still looked after one another. Hisano still lives with her parents in a small apartment overlooking a bar. That bar gives her a discount in exchange for her cleaning up after any fights. Hisano is a quiet, contemplative person, she puts on a tough image but it's mostly to scare away any possible threats from the outside. Her weakness will always be her mother and father which is why she puts up with such a lackluster job, as bills are more important than living an actual fulfilling life. Apparently. - ]
