Yes, come to the west coast, most of us are tolerant/progressive. :) I'm sorry those jobs didn't do anything help or protect you. They're not worth your effort or time. Paying bills isn't easy in CA I hear. A teaching degree huh? Do you know what subject you'd be looking into?

Ohhh, I see. Thanks for disclosing. I'm totally interested to learn more where I can about other people and their experiences. I think understanding is the best thing humans can do for one another. I hope the transition is as smooth as it can be for you, I can't imagine how taxing that's gotta be mentally and physically. If there's anything I can do, let me know. :)

I was close to moving out but it fell apart. One of these days. I have lived on my own so I know the struggle of keeping it all together though.

You need to eat better, it fuels your brain! Good food makes your body feel good. Though I am a sucker for junk food...and yeah I still feel like I'm 14 or 15 and it's like....noooope not even close to that. Time is so crazy! Like where did the Myspace days go and how did we get here?

Dang, that's awful. I was fired due to discrimination too. Companies are very cruel and cold. I'm sorry you had to go through three jobs. Any chance of moving out of state or do you need to save up funds before that happens (hence the job)? I don't mean to pry if this is personal but how do your employers find out? Is that something they can tell or is it something you disclose? I assume Ohio has the 'at will' employment that can fire you at any point? I had thought that kind of discrimination was protected by some kind of law but it sounds like laws haven't come close to catching up with today's issues.

Haha well then I'd be happy to make you a nice four course meal if I didn't have to touch a stupid dish or vacuum. At the same time cooking every night is awful, I still live with my folks (despite closer to 30 than 20 bleh) so we all alternate chores and cooking and anyone who cooks gets out of dish duty that night. Phew.

Those aren't meals you cook, silly. Last night I made roasted chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and brown sugar glazed carrots with a demi-glaze wine reduction. So good. And the night before that it was a dish from Argentina which was very good and one I hadn't tried before. The kitchen can be your friend, I swear! It doesn't hurt, though I almost took off a finger a few weeks back...but that's not important haha. But you clearly need a cute Tohru to help out in exchange for rent. Hmmm...though that sounds a little suspicious.

But if you're working, I get not having the energy to cook or clean, that is rough.

Aww you're not terrible! You're just a human with finite energy. :)

Aww I love cooking! I'd love to cook for someone. I've been on my own these past few days so cooking for myself is such a bore. I love baking even more through. And then eating all the sweets, I have a tough time sharing those...

Dishes can be annoying but better to stay on top then end up with a pile. I hate going to bed knowing they're waiting for me. Getting em done ASAP gives me such a clear mind. Almost zen. Almost.

I'd offer to cook if you cleaned but you might not even clean. -sticks tongue out-

I don't mind cleaning, well it depends on the chore but music helps. Seems to me like you need a Tohru in your life to clean up for you. -laughs- Hopefully there is some order to your chaos.
