That moment when someone makes a terrible OC with a cringe self-centered plot and you have no idea how to react because you want them to indulge your own shit.

Fianna was fascinated by his tenure at Durmstrang and would have liked to probe his mind further but she didn't think proper conversation could be held sitting beside someone as they were feasting. She often liked getting to know someone over drinks and perhaps a good stew or loaf of buttered bread, something rich and hearty. But across from someone, not beside them. Fianna it was a tad difficult to give someone beside you your full attention. She gave the other male a nod as he seemed receptive to the idea of her assisting them though she briefly mused as to whether or not he had considered a different, more intimate meeting place. Of course, had Gabrial gone that direction, she would have shoved his foot firmly in his mouth.

"Alright." She replied as she found herself focusing back on the food and drink on front of her.

Conversation faded as most of the staff finished eating, no longer wishing to multitask. Gabrial eventually excused himself while Fianna helped herself to a third dessert, unable to pick between the bread pudding, the flan or the pecan pie, she decided to just try a bit of everything. When she finished, she retired to her own quarters which weren't connected to her classroom but connected with her office that was settled in one of the many low-leveled corner towers of the castle. She was able to overlook a wide grassy field where most Flying lessons were held. Her office was on the third floor while her quarters were on the second, nestled under her officer.

Fianna took a quick route, stairs hidden behind a portrait of red and gold roses. She busied herself with a letter back home which she would send off in the morning while she still could savor the peace and quiet. Seeing it was nearly time to meet Gabrial, the long haired woman exited her quarters and wandered outside to the main courtyard, following the faint trail of smoke. Reaching Gabrial, she folded her arms across her chest, "You look so serious, so contemplative. I feel I'm almost disturbing you." She commented. Moving closer to him, her head tilted to the side. "Hmm so what have ya got written so far? Care to test your little speech out on me?"
It's cool, a good read. Don't apologize for posting a lot or a little, it's all good bro. -thumbs up-
Yeah yeah yeah, babe. I'll post. XP
Bump.
I'm sure we will, lots of things can happen. Even if we wanted a period piece or something in the past, lots of things to do as I'd say we've got some good freedom.
Being directed to the staircase was a bit of a surprise. Hisano gave the bouncer a look over before she turned her attention to the stairs in front of her. She grabbed onto the rail as she made her way upwards and around up to the top. She looked around, trying to figure out where they might take her. As she was led further into a backroom, her heart began to sank. Was it too late to back out and change her mind? Say she was joking? She didn't know what to expect but she didn't feel exactly welcomed or safe at the moment, causing her senses to heighten. The smoke from the cigarettes were calming, almost. But still, Hisano was filled with renewed uncertainty and didn't know what to expect. So far, her night was one big twist that found refuge in her stomach.

She turned when the bartender shut the door behind them.

Oh crap.

Was she going to be murdered now?

She whirled around and felt her shoulders and fists tighten. The man asked about Tommy and she stayed quiet. Was this the guy she was supposed to find? Was he right under her nose this whole time or was this some kind of test? Hisano wasn't even sure how the death would be taken. Was Tommy a friend or on more questionable terms. She studied the grey man before she puckered her lips as though she had just take a shot of lemon juice. "Well it's hard to say exactly where he is...last I checked he was back at the office, a few bullets cut through him." She told the man. "Whatever shit he got himself into I guess caught up with him." She gave a shrug, trying to stay more aloof than emotional, not wanting to breakdown and show weakness now.

"He was my best friend." She said quietly, unable to stop herself. "I'm just trying to figure this mess out, I guess I'm always suck cleaning up his shit." She glanced off. Hisano still couldn't believe he was gone. She wished he hadn't made such piss poor choices in life as it now led to his death. Still, the pink haired woman was kind and couldn't walk away until she knew her friend's issues had been resolved. It was trouble and her gut was urging her to just walk away but she couldn't. "I don't know why he wanted me to come here but I'm here so..." Her voice trailed off, her gaze still off toward the collection of crates.
There's a post up!

It's not great buuuut it's there. -laughs and shakes head- If I missed a detail or something, let me know and I can fix it!

I'm glad you're still super stoked though, as am I. It's got all sorts of wonderful potential. -thumbs up-
Throughout his tenure aboard the USS Enterprise, William Riker had been faced with numerous oddities and predicaments. It was almost a weekly occurrence for something to catch their eye and throw them into a brief storm of chaos. Riker would never leave the ship however, not even if offered something "better." To him, the crew had become his family and he could never abandon them. He was certain the same feeling was mutual, even among the more new additions to the ship. Riker leaned to one side as Captain Picard tried to wrestle with their current mystery. Riker could only give a shrug, "Nothing concrete has turned up I'm afraid." He told Picard. Even a clue would be enough but so far their scans have come up empty. "I feel it may be in our best interest to just report the area and perhaps quarantine it and move on."

"Lieutenant Uhura reported that her communications have come up with nothing." Data commented, looking up from his digital pad of information. "Our probes has also picked up nothing since the anomaly's sighting." He added. "And Ensign Hillard claims this area of space is currently unmapped." He said plainly.

"It hasn't done anything to our ship or the computer system or the engine or warp drive." Geordi spoke up. He felt unsettled by the event and felt powerless as to be able to help. So far nothing seemed to turn up any answers. "We can't conclude it's a black hole or even a wormhole, our systems would have registered that specific energy and structure." He frowned. "We really don't have any data to determine what happened." The ship had once been trapped in a loop for who knows how long. They had faced many tense situations before and yet somehow, this one seemed a little different.

"No one on board has reported any symptoms." Beverly reported quickly. "I don't think we're dealing with anything biological like an airborne virus or anything."

When Captain Picard concluded they couldn't just sit, it was Worf's turn to speak up.

While they were a team that guided the USS Enterprise and those who called it home, the decision rested on the shoulders of Jean-Luc Picard and his crew was ready to follow his command. When Picard was called back to the bridge, the other officers rose and followed after him. Nex, Nyota and Gabe had remained on the bridge and upon the Captain's return, the ship's counselor could immediately pickup on his anxiety, his need to find answers.

Eyes turned to the view in front of them where a small pod was drifting.

After Ensign Cadish concluded the report, Hillard spoke up: "It seemed to come out of nowhere, sir." He said. He had a year under his belt and he was glad for the experience. Like Erin, he felt utterly blessed to be where he was, despite seemingly being in constant danger. He could never pass up a chance to make new discoveries on a vessel that held such a high reputation.

"Yes sir." Data nodded when Captain Picard gave him command while the others went to check out their new find. Taking a seat in the captain's seat, he looked out as the small pod was pulled into the ship. Nyota looked over to the others as Riker and Worf followed Picard to the turbolift.

"If this is related to the transportation incident, that would be interesting." Riker commented.

While the pod was being handled, Geordi excused himself and went back down to Engineering while Nex also took her leave, having an appointment with an Ensign who was having trouble with homesickness. Beverly Crusher decided to head to Sick Bay, hoping that her services wouldn't be needed but she was still anticipating giving whoever was in the pod, medical attention if need be. When the three men made their way to the shuttle bay, Riker checked his phaser but still kept it holstered. Moving to the settled pod, he got in front of Picard and stepped to the door. He observed it and couldn't recall seeing anything like it. He gave a questioning look to Worf and Picard before he banged on the door. "Is anyone in there?" He called out and paused. "I'm going to open the hatch." He said before he grasped the handle and twisted, giving it a forceful tug.

It slowly opened and he took a step back, getting his phaser out and pointed it to the open door.

"You are aboard the USS Enterprise. Are you hurt? Where are you from?" Riker questioned, his guard raised as they waited to see if they had a new addition to the ship or if they would be preparing funeral arrangements.
Thanks! I hope you both have been well.
I just wanted to double check something! :)

Are you open to doubling or are you strictly a female-writer?
