That moment when someone makes a terrible OC with a cringe self-centered plot and you have no idea how to react because you want them to indulge your own shit.

Not the one from the 70s/80s? I suppose the one from 2005? ^^; It's a very interesting concept, I may finish season one this weekend.

I was in my angst high school years then. I think. Fuck that's like 12 years ago? Or something. Math is hard.

But post whenever you'd like, I've got about 2 posts ahead of you though if you do lol

But it's mostly dialogue right now so I don't expect there to be much. Don't worry.
The Commonwealth? It didn't ring a bell.

At Picard's gesture, Riker slowly slipped his phaser away, still not letting his guard down. Normally if someone was in real distress, their actions would give way to some kind of hint, some kind of emotion. And yet this Commander Rhade seemed formal despite injury. While his stoicism was admirable, Riker wasn't sure he could be trusted outright. If someone needed help, or medical attention, that should be their first priority. Riker wasn't sure where Rhade's priorities were but both parties seemed somewhat apprehensive of one another. Giving Worf a look, Riker forced his shoulders to relax some.

"Yes Captain." He replied as he looked to the male and female who represented someplace no one had even heard of.

"Please come with me, we'll take you to sickbay so we can make sure you're alright before we sort these events out." Riker told the two strangers as he walked back towards the ship's interior system. He entered the code and the doors slid apart to reveal the USS Enterprise's closest corridors that few into the main part of the ship. As he walked, he tapped his communicator. "Riker to Crusher, I'm escorting two individuals to you now, please be ready." He said.

"Acknowledged." Crusher responded as she waited for their arrival.

When Riker arrived, he had remained silent otherwise, the redhead was waiting with her own set of staff. "Hello, my name is Beverly Crusher. Please have a seat." She gestured the two patients to individual tables they could sit upon. It was evident the male needed her immediate attention first. Moving over, she grabbed her kit and her medical tricoder as well. "Do you remember how you got hurt?" She asked Gaheris, knowing a first-hand record of the event would cut the time she needed to mend the injury considerably. As she went to work, Riker glanced toward the woman who had yet to speak or address anyone.

"Rommie, was it?" He spoke to her. As much as he wanted to inquire about their origins and mission, he knew it was better done in the conference room. "Are you injured as well?" He asked her.
Working on it now, also watching Battlestaw Galactica cause there's so many hot guys in it. Ahem. But it does give a nice tone for writing this. Man, 2005 had this and Doctor Who? What a good year for sci-fi...sad I missed it.

Okay, good to know!

You're next on my list. I've got a few things to do tomorrow and Thur but I'll try to get something before Friday. -smiles-
If we could double for Fruits Basket I'd love to give something a go!

As Rahea Kinly watched, she felt a surge of uneasiness wash over her.

Up above a flock of birds took off in the distance as the once calm day took a slightly sour turn.

Rahea hurried toward where the soldiers had been stationed. She knew precautions had to be taken but she didn't think yelling or resorting to violence was necessary. Hurrying along, she found herself hopeless out of breath alarmingly quick. She finally arrived as the egg was presented as proof. While she understood the need to be safe and ensure only those allowed, proceeded along, she didn't think the men needed to be so brutish. "I am so sorry for their behavior." She said in-between soft pants. "He means well, truly." She said, trying to defend those who carried her family's banners and defended their honor. By no means did the princess wish to seem ungrateful to either side on the tricky matter.

"With everything settled, let us proceed." She said, looking to Fainor. The woman knew she could put her faith in people a bit prematurely and knew she had protection as well as the egg, for a very good reason. Still, the first impression she didn't want to impose upon their guests, was that of some hateful or rude human. She had only interacted with a few elves before and didn't want them to think less of her, or even the guards that were at her service. The guards looked to her before they grumbled, unable to think of another reason to prevent the elves from continuing along the stone pathway.

As they walked, she turned around and paused. "Oh...I haven't introduced myself have I? I am Princess Rahea of the Kinly family. Please come with me, I am sure you are eager to rest. I can show you where to keep the horses and they too will be given water and food for their hard work." Rahea promised sweetly as she turned and resumed walking once more. Although she had never been to Korva's Keep, she had heard many stories from her parents so in her mind, she felt she knew it fairly well. Though she also knew some of the elves behind her had to have more background knowledge on the fortress than she, so she hoped it didn't show too much as they approached the landmark.

Once the horses had been taken to the stables, they moved into the main foyer of the keep. It was unwelcoming but nonetheless, secure and a place that was familiar to the two parties. "I believe a meal is being prepared. I trust you all know where to go and rest." She said, knowing the elves had their designated chambers where they could get comfortable and unwind after such extensive travel. Rahea looked around, finding the structure very marvelous and she found herself forgetting about the very place she called home, as it was very much like Korva's Keep. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted someone who seemed about her age. "Hello." She greeted him with a smile and simple nod.
Bump.
Yumina Atarashi

It was apparent that Kawano wanted nothing to do with her or to keep any company for that matter. She had wonder why he would always be in such a foul mood. It had to be so tiring. She teetered from one side to the other, not really sure what he wanted to do with her. She was even beginning to wish she hadn't greeted him but she thought after a while that maaaybe, just made he wouldn't be such a sourpuss who was stuck in the mood. Maybe he was happy being miserable but she didn't believe that was the case. Maybe he needed a friend. Not that she wanted to volunteer for the part but she didn't see why she had to treat him poorly when she didn't even know him.

"Um yes?" Kawano began to talk about the pen she had found. She gave a slow nod, not sure if it was really he. It was probably something he'd pawn, rather than use to do actual homework. To say she was convinced it was his, would be quite a bold-faced lie. Yumina stayed quiet as she considered wondered why he wanted to know about the pen. Him of all people. It was weird and very out of character for him to care about a pen. Before she could find a way to excuse herself and continue home, she was pulled away. "Ahhh ummm where are you taking me?" She asked, feeling eyes follow her as she was pulled away from public viewing.

Alarm bells started to ring as she began to fear he was going to beat her up and steal the pen. Yumina was now certain that this whole day had taken a very odd turn for the worse. When they reached the back of the main building, she tugged her arm back, using her other hand to rub her wrist, hoping it wouldn't bruise. "So you wanna talk about the pen...?" She was rather dubious as to his intent. She thought back to the Shinigami and how she had mentioned the pen was hers now. Could she give it to this boy? Her gut was telling her to be very very careful. "No offense but you don't...seem like the kind of guy who would put such a nice pen to uhh use." She tried to say carefully. He rarely did homework and she didn't think the pen would be of use of him, not when it supposedly only worked in a special book.

It was weird and she didn't want to dwell much on it at the moment. At the moment, the pen was stashed away in her leather satchel and she had no intention of showing it to Kawano unless he started making sense.
