Elliot sat up and grabbed Jacob's hands, preventing him from doing any kind of searching. She smiled softly at him, "That might be so. But I have the power of medication that can both sedate and knock you right out. If you force my hand, you will be tied to this bed. With nothing to throw at your brother, simple as that."

Chaos

Ophelia laughed and shook her head, "I've heard about it... but I was alone when I met her. She offered me immortality and everything.... I'm amazed that she is actually like that though."

She relaxed into the grass it was only a short while later that she managed to fall back asleep, lying there on her side.

Elliot grinned at him, "Well, like it or not that is exactly what is going to happen. So don't even think about trying to get out of bed. And," She added, "If you try, even once. I will enlist Kyle's help and we will tie you to the bed and I will spoon feed you through the rest of your recovery."

She kissed him, "Sometimes, you need a little tough love."

"Diana?" Ophelia took a moment, "That's... Artemis, right?" She pursed her lips, "She tried to kill you? Really? Huh... She seemed so nice when I met her..."

Ophelia laughed a little, "He is also the only Greek hero who had a happy ending."

She yawned again rolled onto her side, looking at him, "Well, I'm glad that we got to you in time... Mars or Ares, I do not want to see how your father reacts to that....."

Elliot looked at him and laughed, "Yes, of course you are! The meds don't heal you, they just help you tolerate the pain. And in a couple weeks you can run around like the maniac you are. After a week or two, we can even move you to the living room, so that you don't have to stay cooped up in here."

She kissed him, "But yes, you are stuck here on your butt until further notice."

Ophelia nearly jumped out of her skin when Seth lay beside her, "A little warning would suffice," She teased before returning her attention to the stars, "They are pretty, eh?"

She wrapped her arms around herself and smirked, "It is strange though... when you think of them as ball of gas just floating there...." She sighed, "Astraea has done well with her stars...."

Elliot looked over to the window as Kyle pulled up. Her eyebrows knitted together, where did he go? She didn't ponder long, deciding he must have been returning the doctor and mechanic to whatever safe house they had found. She leaned on Jacob's shoulder and nibbled at her porridge, "How are you feeling now? The meds should be working."

Ophelia was gone from the bed. She'd woken at some point in the night and quietly left the room. She hadn't gotten far though, she was still worn down. Instead, she sat on the porch of the big house, leaning against the railing and looking at the stars. She sighed as she did. She should be resting still but her brain was a whirlwind that she couldn't keep quiet. She stood on shaky legs and walked out onto the grass before lying down, getting a better view of the sky above.

"Okay," Elliot said as she left the room. She walked into the kitchen and started searching. It seemed that someone asked the doctor and mechanic to bring some food as the things in the cupboard weren't covered in dust. She grabbed some oats and made Jacob porridge. She walked back to the room with two bowls. She smiled at him and placed them on the nightstand. Once her hands were free, she helped him sit up and placed the pillows under him.

She kissed his cheek before handing him the bowl and grabbing her own, "There you are."
